Welcome to the Sunny Moon Beach Shack! We’ve thoughtfully designed and renovated this charming bohemian retreat to make your stay in Rehoboth fun and relaxed. The location cannot be beat—just a couple blocks to the restaurants and shops on Rehoboth Ave, and a short 0.7-mile walk or bike to the beach. The home itself was curated with all your needs in mind, including new appliances, kitchen accessories, beach and bath towels, linens, and comfortable mattresses, among many other amenities. But having everything you need is not enough; a new LG OLED TV, record player with vintage vinyl, extra bikes and skateboards, and beautiful artwork all contribute to a colorful and cool vibe. We use this house as our own beach getaway, and we would love to share it with you!

Sunny Moon Beach Shack exceeded any expectations we had, & it definitely is not a shack! We loved the open floor plan with lots of natural light; the location was conveniently located to walk to the shops & restaurants; the tranquility of The Pines made it so pleasant to sit outside & to sleep at night; & it was squeaky clean with comfortable furnishings. The owners thought of everything to make our stay trouble free. We can’t wait for a return visit.

Our family had a wonderful stay in Rehoboth! Josh is a great host and the house instructions and helpful tips are spot-on. The house was incredibly clean and organized. Every need and want is covered by the supplies and features of the house. The record collection in the house was an absolute gem which must have taken decades to build. Very impressive music tastes which was seemingly out of my own playlist!! Like I wrote - good taste…

House is bigger than the pictures show. Wonderful stay. Clean. Nice location. Close to grove park and farmers market. Close walk to beach and lake. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our Family loved our stay! The updates and new appliances in the property were very nice. The location was great. If you're like our family and enjoy some walking around and exploring it's a perfect distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, and Grove Park (which was great for our two young kids).
The host was also great! Very responsive and easy going. No one stayed in the house the night before, so we were permitted into the house as soon as we arrived, which was AWESOME.
We would absolutely recommend this house to anyone visiting Rehoboth and hope to return soon!

Very well equipped. The decorating was very original and so much fun. We loved being at the house and in a neighborhood verses being in a condo on a busy street. The home was a great part of a perfect vacation.

From the reservation online to checking out at the end of the weekend, everything was perfect! The listing was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations! The house has so much character with new updates and a nostalgic feel. Would highly recommend this property for its vibes, cleanliness, and location!

The house was real cute and had its own personality. We were 4 adults and there was plenty of room to gather and talk. Everything was clean and they had the biggest bath towels to use..very soft. Beds were also very comfortable and in good shape.The kitchen was well equipped and they had most of the essentials stocked for us to use. The outside was nice..no deck but plenty of room to sit and talk if you wanted to. The only thing was the acorns were falling from the trees, so you could have been whopped in the head...so we didn't use the outside too much. It's a nice quiet neighborhood, a lot of people walking and riding bikes. We would definitely go back if the opportunity arises. Josh the host was always available for questions and the information he provided in his guest book was very detailed...we used it for figuring out how the record player works...yes an actual record player..he had a great selection of artists.

Three of us stayed here for a long weekend. The house was clean, well appointed and larger than we expected from the pictures. Close to the beach and to the downtown Rehoboth. Once we had groceries, we didn't have to drive at all which was nice. I would definitely stay here again.

The house was exactly as advertised, clean and welcoming with lots of personality and charm. The owners have stocked it with well thought out accessories to support your stay, and its a short walk to everything you want to see and do.
Can't offer enough praise for the owner's communication, engagement, and reasonable flexibility. Josh was quickly responsive before during and after our stay, proactive and informative, and a joy to work with.
This is now our first choice accommodation on Rehoboth, hands down.

Had a great 3 night stay with 4 adults and 3 young kids. Plenty of space for all of us and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Furnishings were nice, house was clean and everything was well thought out - tons of bath towels, great big washer and dryer, outdoor shower. We would definitely stay here again. The only very small thing is we all wished there were blinds in the front living room window for increased privacy.

The owner clearly hit a home run with the comfort, decorations and amenities in this vacation home. I rented it for relatives who flew in from CA for a family reunion. Both parents and their 2 teenagers absolutely fell in love with the house. In fact, both teens remarked that I am now their favorite Aunt because they liked the house so much!

This property had it all! Cleanliness, comfort and location. Josh was so easy to communicate with and I never seemed to be bother when reaching out. The neighborhood was within walking distance to Rehoboth Ave so you really did not need your car. You also have access to a lower key beach if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk beach. Would highly recommend staying here

Our group of four stayed at the Sunny Moon Beach Shack for three nights in mid-April 2023. The house is as-described in the listing and photos. Clean, well-kept and cared for. The beds were all really comfortable and we enjoyed time lounging in the living room doing puzzles and listening to records (great collection!), reading, and watching TV (lots of streaming services available!). The appliances are high quality and in good condition. The home is also in a wonderful location, just over a block from Rehoboth Ave shops and restaurants and a short walk from the beach. Josh was very communicative and welcoming through text. We had a wonderful trip and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This place is adorable, with fun decor and amenities like bikes and classic LPs for the turntable. It's even better than it looks in the pictures online. Quality kitchenware and linens, too. The location is right near downtown Rehobeth and the boardwalk but the street is quiet and leafy. Great value. I would definitely stay again.

This is my second stay at this property. It does not disappoint. The weather was again less than stellar but the house is such a nice place to hang out and relax we didn’t mind the weather. We played records all weekend, put a puzzle together, watched a movie and just enjoyed our time together.

This was a wonderful home for our family; we stayed for four days. The rooms were spacious, very clean and the appliances were new and what we needed . There was even a record player, yoga mats and a terrific assortment of oldie but goodie vinyl records. We will be back!

We walked to the Farmer's market on Tuesday. There were several vendors we bought from. Kombucha, fresh lettuce and tomatoes and breads were all for sale.

This house made me happy every time I walked in during my week’s stay. The colors, the vibes, the extremely comfortable master bed, the outdoor shower, the neighborhood and the fun use of the house stereo and albums. So fun to bring along a few of my own that hadn’t been on a turntable In decades.

The cottage was fully equipped and furnished beautifully. Clearly, the cleaning crew did an admirable job as every room was spotless. The AC was very quiet; quickly cooled the entire home. Appliance are high-end, incl washer and dryer, and were a pleasure to use. The outdoor shower, grill, table and chairs rounded out the amenities found within the home. (Although 2 parking hang tags are provided, parking on this one-way street can be somewhat difficult at times. Vehicles that are found parked too close to the yellow lines in front of the driveway, combined with vehicles parked directly across from the cottage, can make backing out of the driveway a challenge.) We would stay at this cottage again as the Owner was very communicative and caring.

Fantastic Rental!
We stayed at this home with our two teenagers and my parents. It's a beautiful, clean home in a quiet neighborhood. It is within walking distance to the beach, boardwalk and Rehoboth Avenue shops and restaurants. The owner was very responsive before and during our stay. We would definitely book again!

The Sunny Moon Beach Shack is the perfect house, in a prime location, with amazing amenities. Every detail in the house is so well thought out; from the fully equipt kitchen to the extremely plush beds/linens to the fun touches of the vinyl set-up, available bikes, and other beach house necessities. The house was spotless upon our arrival and all necessary information was communicated clearly well in advance of our travel. We hope to come back and make the Sunny Moon Beach Shack our regular haunt in Rehoboth.

Long weekend
I met my daughter and her friends for the long weekend over Indigenous People's Day and we had a fantastic time! The house is spotless, comfortable and well appointed. Josh was great to work with and communicated seamlessly at every step of the way. We enjoyed strolling on the boardwalk, some lovely dinners in Rehoboth, and a bike ride through Henlopen State Park. We enjoyed our trip so much - we hope to make this an annual event!!
