Happy Days are here again at the Cunningham Cottage. Mrs. and Mr. C established this charming cottage as their home away from home when they needed a respite from Milwaukee. Designed in modern 50’s Retro and centrally located in the heart of Wausau. Master bedroom has a pillow top King Bed. The second bedroom boasts two twin size beds with comfortable gel memory foam. High speed WiFi, Cable TV, Ring alarm, Smart Locks for entry, Washer and Dryer. Garage access for recreational gear.

My family and I so enjoyed this house! My mom kept raving about the Cunningham theme. She smiled a lot while we stayed here! The house is so beautiful and relaxing. The King bed was very comfortable, as Mom and I deal with back pain, we were very thankful for that! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the Wausau area. Thanks to the owners for everything!

We booked the cottage for a ski vacation and it was perfect. The house was big enough for the 4 of us to spread out and relax after skiing. The central location meant we were close to everything we needed. The hosts were very accessible and communication was clear and concise. We will definitely try to stay here again if we return to Wausau.

Came to Wausau for a long weekend. House was very nice. Road construction in front of the house was a little inconvenient but the property itself was nice.

Peaceful experience

Peaceful experience

The cottage was perfect! This home was incredibly clean. The decor was modern and added to the vibe. We loved the spacious kitchen. So many of the little details were taken care of...including a water purifying pitcher. The yard was cozy and peaceful. We will stay in this property again!!! Two things I'd like to share, not negative in any way. Just would have liked a heads up. First, the stove is a gas range. I was unfamiliar with lighting the oven and was uncomfortable using it. I used the toaster oven instead. (This is probably noted on the listing and I overlooked it.) Second, the bathroom is small not unmanageable, but the stool has extremely tight quarters. And might be an issue for people with limited physical ability.

Great Cottage

Great Cottage

The cottage was very clean and the pictures were just as the cottage looked. Jenny was very responsive and was very thoughtful to make sure I was aware of the snow that was expected and to determine when I may need the driveway cleared of snow. The location is approximately 5 minutes to many things such as Granite Peak Ski Resort, restaurants, bowling and grocery stores.
