About this house rental

Welcome to 329 Upper Humbird, located in the peaceful and desirable neighborhood of Ponder Point, just east of Sandpoint. This property is the perfect home base for your north Idaho vacation, as it’s only 7 minutes to downtown Sandpoint and 25 minutes to Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort.

The cheerful two-story home consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and comfortably sleeps 8 guests. It is absolutely ideal for a family or group of friends. The traditional layout features a spacious kitchen area, family room with a gas fireplace and TV, private dining and living rooms - all on the main level. During the summer season, guests can sit back and relax on the covered wrap around front porch.

Upstairs you will find all four bedrooms - the primary bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bath. There are two guest bedrooms each with a Queen bed and the fourth bedroom has a full/double bed. All bedrooms are complete with luxury linens and the full size bath has a bath/shower combination. Amenities include high-speed internet, central air conditioning and a private hot tub.

Step outside to an expansive patio and large grassy backyard, perfect for outdoor activities, al fresco dining, or soaking in the hot tub – all while taking in the views of Schweitzer and the nearby mountains.

Perfect for train lovers, you'll enjoy the occasional rumble as trains pass by, though rest assured, the train does not blow its horn nearby. However, please note that this home may not be ideal for light sleepers or those sensitive to noise and vibrations, as the proximity to the tracks could result in some disturbances, particularly at night.

The home was GREAT and had everything we needed and were expecting. The only issue was the train and the frequency that it passed by and 'shook' the home. It took a lot of getting used to and we were surprised by that. Thank you for the ease in working together. We enjoyed Sandpoint and our stay in your home. Best, Rene

We stayed in sand point primarily to ski schweitzer. The location was great for us. Everyone enjoyed the fireplace. Nice house in a convenient location. Well stocked.

the only, and i mean only, downfall of this place is its proximity to the train tracks. the trains roll by multiple times per night, resulting in rather loud noises and massive house shakes. it literally feels like an earth quake is occurring when these massive cargo trains roll by. the walls shake, the beds and couches vibrate under your body, and im honestly impressed that the house has lasted this long under the immense ground movement. despite this we would stay here again. the community was great - proximity to shopping and restaurants are a quick 10-15 min drive max, and the house is beautiful. the hot tub was wonderful after long days of skiing at schweitzer and the place was very clean and well laid out. if you’re a light sleeper, or afraid of trains, maybe this property isn’t for you. but aside from the train tracks - 10/10

This is just what we wanted! Everything was well organized. It was a nice place. The process was easy. The hot tub was great. Even though it was during the holidays, we still had someone we could get ahold of if there was an emergency.
