Super cute cabin, very clean

Everything about this cabin was perfect…extremely clean, easy to find and access, and beautifully decorated! My 8 year old even commented how good the sheets smell on the beds. We loved making s’mores over the campfire at night. Thank you for the perfect getaway!

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. It was clean, comfortable, and the perfect fit for what we were looking for. The only downside was that the water smelled like sulfer. We tried running the water to clear it, as Keith advised, but it never went away. Otherwise, this was a wonderful weekend retreat for my family.

We love going here, this is our second time alothough at the other cabin on the property. Very quiet and relaxing.

This cabin was perfect for our family of four! Secluded, but near New Market. The pond was a huge hit with my two young children. Decor and furniture were beautiful. Even had a s’more kit and wine waiting for us from the host! Definitely returning soon.

Yup, the title says it all. On our first efvening we were visited by a large deer. On our second evening a large adult bear came strolling across the front yard area overlooking the pond as we sat on the deck eating our dinner. It really caught us off-guard and simply doesn't get any more bearable than that!! The cabin is totally pleasing and in a wonderful setting.

Our stay at this marvelous cabin was just what the doctor ordered! It was quiet and inviting. We enjoyed preparing for our son's wedding without feeling rushed and overwhelmed. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We plan on many visits in the future.

My family loved staying at this clean, cozy cabin in the mountains. We were able to truly relax and soak it all in. Wish we could have stated longer. Fantastic amenities, everything we needed and extremely clean & new! Only great things to say about our stay.

Property was nice. Cabin was great.

Loved the cabin - it was perfect for my family (2 humans and a GSD). We are training for a backpacking holiday and this was the perfect access point for all the trails - so many within 20 mins drive and tons within 1 hour. We sipped our coffee on the outdoor swing, played with the dog on the grounds, grilled our dinners, pitched the tent (yes we are nuts), hiked and gathered fresh berries from the bushes on the property for our snack and meals everyday. Thank you For sharing your place with us. (We would love to spend longer periods like a month - but the no Wi-Fi kills it as we both work remotely and need it … hopefully the owners will consider getting the spacex’ internet system like many other residents in the valley are doing)

My husband and I took a short weekend trip to the area with our dog. We initially arrived at the wrong cabin (there are two) but Keith was readily available and helpful at redirecting us to the right one - our fault, as we missed the earlier instructions to go to the one with the red roof. Nonetheless, it was an amazing stay. The cabin is so well kept and comfortable and it's close to many hiking trails. We thoroughly enjoyed and plan on going back soon!

The property was clean and well kept. Had everything we needed. Great location…Secluded but close to all the area attractions The only thing we didn’t like was the beds were a little too hard for our comfort, but that is a personal preference.

This is a beautiful little cabin in just the right location between New Market and Luray. It was spotlessly clean and had all the right necessities. Check-in was a breeze and the owners quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again!

Spent a long week-end at this beautiful cabin for some family time with our son, his wife and our grand-dog. What a lovely surprise to enter the cabin and find a tray of s'more ingredients and a cold bottle of wine waiting for us. We definetly enjoyed roasting marshmallows and eating yummy s'moreswhile drinking wine! Spent time hiking in Shenandoah National Park, working a puzzle and watching a movie. It was a nice surprise to find a half bath as well as the full bath, although I don't recall that information listed in the cabin description. The website states internet and a smart TV. However, we could never get on the internet and the choice of TV stations was terrible unless we just did not know how to work it properly (we found no instructions for either internet or TV). The cabin was well furnished with comfortable furniture in the living room and queen beds in the two bedrooms. Everyone thought the bed pillows were too hard and fat but otherwise the beds were comfortable, warm and cozy. The bedrooms could use a chair to sit on, as the beds are so high off the ground you can't easily sit on them to put on your shoes. Also, a luggage rack would be convenient. Most of the necessary kitchen utensils were available for preparing meals. I found it was lacking a vegetable peeler, a very large stock/soup pot, small glasses and small plates. Perhaps I'm just spoiled as the last cabin we rented had absolutely everything. We would most definetly visit this cabin again as there wasn't enough time to try fishing in the pond, play any of their games (I wanted to play Star Wars Sorry) or work another puzzle! Thanks for sharing your lovely "home away from home!"

We had a good stay at this new cabin. It is in a quiet location and our dogs enjoyed the stay as well. Plenty of space to walk around the cabin and down to the pond. Having the 1/2 bath as well as full bath was much appreciated. Also having a washer and dryer and dishwasher was much appreciated. Kitchen was well stocked with good selection of basic cookware. We had family visit while we were there, and the open floor plan between kitchen and living room was very comfortable. Also enjoyed the decks on the front and back of cabin. We will definitely keep in mind for future stays in the area.

Beautiful property beautifully decorated. The added holiday decorations and welcome gift were nice touches. Couple dead ladybugs but thats gonna happen. Door is tight so the lock sticks and we couldn't get in at first. A call for help was never answered but after 10 minutes or so we were able to make entry after fiddling with the door. Overall it was good and would reccomend the property.

This cabin is beautiful, immaculate, and cozy. The Christmas decorations are so pretty and made the experience very nice. I have stayed in quite a few VRBOs and this cabin is the best place I have ever stayed. Time spent on the back deck looking at the sapphire colored pond was extremely relaxing, I will be back.
