Welcome to Moon Dogs Getaway! We are excited to host you in our fully renovated 2 bedroom, one bath cottage with fully fenced backyard in Erie PA. At Moon Dogs you will find peace and quiet, but be close to everything fun Erie has to offer. Try the beaches at Presque Isle State Park or Waldameer and Water World amusement park. Adventure awaits!

Close to everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room for everyone. Neat little binder explaining the house and the surrounding area. Suggestions for places to eat that highlighted place where your dog was allowed to tag along. House well stocked for a short stay for both humans and pups.

This was a nice find! We had a great stay and loved the attention to details. We were in town to visit family & family reunions. The location was one of the reasons we chose to stay here, and it did not disappoint. We could get to all the places we needed within 5-15 minutes.
We will definitely be back in the future when we need a place to stay when visiting.

We checked in a little after 3pm, thr house was clean, plenty of towels for our family in the bathroom, therr was even shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided in the shower. There is a nice fire pit area in the back yard, there wasnt any wood available to burn but we found a few places you can purchase bundles of wood. There was coffee available and plenty of room for our group.of 7 people!! The kids loved the bunk room! We didnt bring our dogs but there was a large jar of tennis balls and dog chews and 2 dog beds for your furry friends. I liked there were extra blankets in the bunk room closet. We enjoyed ourselves.

It was nice having a grill to cook on. There was everything you would need in the house. Just like at home. Had a hard time getting my boat in the driveway so I put it up the road at a boat storage place. The mail box is to close to the driveway making it difficult to back a boat in. Other than that the place was great.

Loved this home and how dog friendly it is! Great location, quiet area, easy check in/out and responsive host. Our dog loved the cozy beds in front of the windows and our teens enjoyed the mini fooz ball game. We would stay again and recommend to others! Thank you for the great stay!

The house and yard were well cared for and nicely updated and equipped. The location was the best part for us being walking distance to Waldameer and a 3-5 minute drive to the entrance of Presque Isle depending on lights. It’s advertised for dogs but we couldn’t even tell. Big kitchen, nicely decorated, comfortable beds and main level laundry. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. We’ll definitely be staying again.

This rental is perfect for a getaway. Very clean, great communication and perfect location to everything! We were very pleased and loved the fenced in back yard with fire pit!

This house was perfect for our family of four. My 17 and 19 year old had plenty of room to spread out. Each had their own bunk bed and they also really enjoyed the living room space. It was really great to have use of a fully stocked kitchen, including a dishwasher. It was also a great convenience to have a washer and dryer.
There is a very spacious fenced in backyard with a fire pit. We left our dogs at home this time around, but it was clear that it would have been a very welcoming place for them to stay.
The best part about this house is the convenient location to Waldameer Park and the beaches. We were there within minutes.
The owners were very quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had. They go above and beyond with the amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. We had everything that we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed with our dogs to visit family in the area. The owner was very responsive to any concerns. The house was exactly what we needed. The beds were comfortable. We would have rated cleanliness as higher if the floors had been cleaner. Everything else was very clean and we don’t expect perfection with such a dog friendly rental. We would recommend this to other families.

I've been going to Erie for 10 years this has been by far best trip. Loved freeing like I was home. Fished. Being able to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. Then hang out by fine pit absolutely amazing.

A great getaway! We really enjoyed the spacious kitchen and comfy living room. And you can't beat the location near Presque Isle State Park.

The house is super cute. They use space very well. Super clean. Conveniently located for everything our family wanted to do. It was so nice to have a whole house instead of just a room for a home base. Would book again if we come back.

The check in process was smooth as there is a keypad entry. The house is clean and very comfortable. It is the most welcoming house for dogs that we have seen thus far! Very cute touches. The location is great if you’re looking to be close to presque isle/waldameer. Just minutes away! There are lots of other things close by as well. Honestly my only con is the bushes beside the driveway make it extremely difficult to see to back out. Luckily it is not a busy road & these may be the neighbors bushes! :) Great stay overall!

This place is awesome if you are looking for a relaxing getaway with your furry friends. Chris and Marni were very responsive, kind and generous people. There is a binder they have prepared so you have all the info you need to make sure you fur baby is fully included during your stay. The neighborhood is nice with lots of friendly people. The cabin is roomy and includes everything you could need. We would definitely recommend this place and we think Jax and Rigby would also agree!

My family of 8 and dog stayed here for a week. It was extremely comfortable and in an ideal location to where we had outings planned. Very clean home with super comfortable beds. Set up and furnishings were very kid and pet friendly. We loved that there were fans in all the rooms and had a well stocked kitchen. Communication with the owner/property manager was fantastic and got back to us very quickly. And all for an extremely reasonable price. We would highly recommend!

Great place to stay with or without a dog
This was a great place to stay. The hosts provided many amenities, not just basics. It was very clean. Great location. Walking distance to a couple restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home
Lovely home, would have been the beat stay if our dig was with us but kids had lots of fun with the tennis balls in place of the dog. Fairly well stocked kitchen made cooking a viable choice for dinners and large back yard was great for relaxing.

Great Stay in Erie!
We were happy with the house and the location during our stay in Erie. While we didn't get to enjoy the lake, its in a great location. Chris was very helpful during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean when we got there and perfect size for what we needed.
