There are beautiful short hikes within a 5 minute drive, longer hikes within an hour drive. Close by public transportation, Uber and cab companies readily available, and Hosts are happy to offer recommendations for sites worth visiting. The Black Door Studio is the perfect stay for UofO games , track events, concerts, festivals, and visits to friends or family!

I enjoyed my stay in this comfortable and quiet abode. The furnishing are in great condition, it is spacious, and the neighborhood is very safe. My hosts were excellent. They communicated regularly and everything was exactly as they said it be. It's a great option, especially when Eugene and Springfield are over run folks in town for big events at the University of Oregon.

My husband went to Eugene for a volleyball tournament and needed a place to stay. We were so excited to find this adorable home. The weekend of the tournament, a massive ice storm blew in, the tournament was canceled, and my husband was trapped. Communication from our hosts, before and during the stay, was fantastic. They checked in to make sure my husband was ok during the storm. They even went above and beyond and helped dig his car out of the snow. Exceptional stay. Highly recommend this home and it's amazing hosts. Thank you!

I was very happy and impressed with this studio apartment. It is clean, modern, and comfortably nestled in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Communication with the property management was on point. I will definitely stay here again.

The back door studio is exactly like stated in pictures . The place was very lovely and had what we needed. Very close ( easy drive) to Hayward Field. Thank you for everything. Eugene, Oregon is such a wonderful city.

Black door studio is extremely clean! The space was well appointed, and very nicely decorated! There was everything there that we needed for a short stay during a volleyball tournament. The house were very good communicators, and had a nice hands off approach! I would recommend a stay at the Clocktower studio to my family and friends!

Lovely studio, well appointed with everything we needed and everything was high quality. Easy to get to U of O but away from the hustle bustle of campus. Kind and attentive owners who left a welcome sign and checked in via text to make sure everything was okay. Would definitely stay here again.

The Black Door Studio is a lovely little studio. Perfect size for 2 people and was still comfortable when my daughter stayed with us one night as well. Clean! Comfortable! And very responsive hosts!

The Black Door Studio was the perfect location for our visit to U of O. The room is comfortable, well-equipped, and large enough for two adults. The bathroom was nicely appointed and very clean. The kitchenette was a great option, although we didn’t use it for cooking. One of the best features of this location was its convenience to the University district and downtown Eugene. Our hosts, Ikaika and Rachel, were extremely easy to reach and very accommodating. Highly recommend this property!

Clean, lovely apartment, comfy bed. Stairs are steep, so just be aware! Owners are super responsive and easy to contact. Lovely park just across the street and up a couple blocks. Will definitely stay here again when we visit our son and partner.

We stayed here to visit our daughter for the weekend (university student). The studio is very clean and nice. The hosts were very receptive and responsive. The only detractor is the driveway. It didn’t pose a problem for us. But it is a relatively long and narrow driveway that you’ll need to back down. All in all a fantastic place to stay and we would recommend it.

We felt so welcomed and loved our stay! Hosts were super accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Like others have stated the parking is a bit challenging for someone who isn't used to backing in from a busy street, but I would let that deter you from staying here. Thanks so much for helping our move to UO go smoothly!💛💚

I booked this place for my parents (early 70s) to stay while visiting me in Eugene. I was thrilled with this spot. It was spotless, equipped with everything my parents needed. The hosts were responsive and respected privacy. The unit is close to grocery stores, restaurants, hiking, etc. A few notes that didn't bother me or my parents, but might make this spot not the right choice for others: the studio is up a somewhat steep staircase. It's safe, well built, has treads, etc. But if climbing stairs is hard for you, this may not be the best spot. The photos are accurate. Once in the studio, it's all one level and pretty accessible. Also, because of where the driveway is located, it's safest to back into the driveway (as it's safer to pull out of the driveway headfirst). I did this twice, and my parents did it several times with no issues, but I found it slightly nerve-wracking the first time. Otherwise, this place was great. Comfortable, quiet, calm, well-equipped, so so clean, and spacious for a studio.

My sister and I stayed here. We thought there was a second bed only to find it was an air mattress. After driving 9 hours we didn’t have enough brain cells to assemble it so we ended up sharing the Queen bed. The studio is very clean and new. We felt safe and the family respected our privacy. The bed was oh so comfy! I highly recommend Black Door Studio just bring enough brain cells to set up an air mattress!
