The Space:
This unique three-bedroom penthouse is just minutes walking distance from the famous "Pontjesbrug" at the Handelskade. Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops can be found once you exit the front door.

After an active day exploring Curacao or relaxing on one of the idyllic beaches, you will feel right at home in this spacious city-centre penthouse. This exclusive penthouse breathes history. Nevertheless, it has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Enjoy time with friends or family in the elegant living room. Prepare your favourite dishes in the fully equipped kitchen.

You are granted a good night's sleep in one of the three fully air-conditioned bedrooms. Next morning, after waking up, you can take a refreshing shower of relax in the jacuzzi in the spacious and modern bathroom.

The Neighborhood:
Willemstad, capital and chief town of Curaçao, located on the southern coast of the island of Curaçao in the Caribbean Sea. It is divided into two halves, Punda and Otrabanda ("Other Side"). The two are connected by the famous Koningin Emma ("Queen Emma") Bridge; opened in 1888 and rebuilt in 1939, the bridge underwent a major restoration in the early 21st century. A fixed bridge was completed in 1974.

Willemstad is a Caribbean centre of trade, petroleum storage and refining, tourism, and banking. The town has many Dutch-style gabled houses. Notable buildings include Fort Amsterdam (1635), which once guarded the entrance to Schottegat Harbour and is now the seat of government and definitely worth a visit. Other, icon landmarks are the Dutch Reformed Church (1769) and the Mikvé Israel-Emanuel Synagogue (1732), the oldest synagogue in continuous use in the Western Hemisphere.

We also advise guest to visit Museum Kurá Hulanda, which chronicles the history of African empires, the slave trade, and the experiences of Africans in the Western Hemisphere. The Curaçao Museum, which features traditional and contemporary art, is the island's oldest museum. In 1997 the inner city and harbour of Willemstad were designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Getting Around:
Within walking distance, you find several shops, a small market, a barbershop, diving school, bars, a small beach, restaurants and other districts such as Scharloo, Pietermaai and Otrobanda. If you want to explore more of the island, we can help you with renting a car.

If you decide to rent a car, there is a lot of parking spots on a 5-minute walking distance. Parking at the street is also possible upon availability, and for a fee during business hours (approximately 1 USD per hour).

The apartment was wonderful and in an ideal location. We like to cook and it was difficult to do so with the items provided in the kitchen. Basic cooking supplies, such as olive oil, butter, salt/pepper, were not provided. The coffee maker had no basket and filters were not provided. The listing stated a hair dryer would be provided but we could not find it. When we told the management company, they promised to bring it the next day, but never did. We asked to check in at the airport but the management company did not have the keys there, so we had to drive to downtown Willemstad to pick up the keys. The address given to us by the management company of the apartment was not correct so we spent time searching for the apartment until a store owner told us that we were on the wrong side of Willemstad. We finally got the apartment after searching for it for some time (without WiFi). Overall, the apartment is lovely and well located; however, the management company, Coral and Coco, has some communication challenges.

From check-in through check-out, the ease and efficiency set a great standard. Upon booking, the expectations regarding the payment process and rental rules were clear. The staff was readily available to communicate via WhatsApp and were extremely helpful with the immigration entrance process and getting the lay of the land upon arrival in Curaçao. All staff members were welcoming and very accommodating, supporting us with transport needs and any other helpful tips. The property itself was very nice. The location was safe and central to everything in Willemstad; quite a few points of interest and food options were within walking or biking distance. The bikes available in the property lobby were a pleasant surprise as I love to bike. The penthouse was clean and spacious. I loved the rooftop and had a comfortable sleep each night. One recommendation is to potentially improve air circulation in the master bathroom. Otherwise, it was a perfect place, and I would stay again. Kudos to the staff, and I look forward to seeing you again during my next stay.

Celebrated our 20th anniversary and we just loved our apartment. Close to everything and was able to rent a car enjoy the island. Highly recommend

The apartment was airy and bright, and very well situated in the bustling Punda neighborhood of Willemstad. It was a lovely refuge after a long day of sightseeing and beach hopping. Highly recommend!
