Additional Amenity Details:
Private Pools are open from May 3, 2024 until October 12, 2024, and May 2, 2025 until October 11, 2025. Pool heat is not an option for this property. Pets are not allowed in pools under any circumstances. An additional fee will be charged to the leaseholder for the chemical balance, cleaning, or damage that would cause the replacement of a vinyl pool liner. Hot tubs are available year-round.

All Sandbridge Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

This property is in desperate need of some maintenance repairs. I called property management when we first arrived and was told that several of the things had to do with maintenance or that the owner was the one that would need to replace things. They did send a cleaner back to the house for some minor cleaning issues which was nice. We had asked if we could have an earlier checkin since it was not rented the day prior and were told for $400+ we could get in earlier. We have never been told that with a rental before. We payed a lot of money for the week and honestly no reason why they shouldn’t have let us in. I asked if I could get the owners contact info and that was not allowed. The closet doors in lower level 2 of bedrooms were broke and falling off. The blind on slider on main level was missing most of the blinds which provided no privacy. I did report a list of items to property management. We made the best of it and had a great family trip.

First and foremost, I’ll say the house is in a great location and the beds are comfortable, BUT, we encountered many issues and most fall on the management team. 1. There was NO heat our first night. The PM brought us space heaters, but with them it was below 65 in the bedrooms and 58 in the rest of the house. They did send two separate companies the next day and got the heat working, but this was completely unavoidable. We came to find out one unit was replaced and both were “serviced”. Well, the one t-stat was wired incorrectly and the other had I believe a burnt contractor. Had the management company bothered to test them, this could have been avoided. 2. The door from the family room to the main deck has no handle and extremely wobbly in the track. You have to shimmy it and use excessive force to open. The door off the master also would not open. I’d have to check fire codes, but it is an extremely unsafe situation. 3. The posting in the house and the email instructions we were given for the WiFi were not accurate so we had to wait a day to get that information. 4. Lightbulbs missing, remotes without batteries, error message on the tv you had to wait 45 seconds to clear when turning on. 5. One bathroom downstairs with warm never hot water. It seems if someone from management had done some QC, all of these issues could and well should have been addressed prior to our stay. We asked for a one night stay credit and have yet to receive a call or email.

First of all, yes I know that they are renovating. But they shouldn't be in the middle of renovating AND renting the unit out. We rented the unit for three nights. We arrived very close to 5pm the first night, and were amazed with how great it was to have so many rooms and to have a large dining area to play games. Unfortunately, there was no amenities (pool table, foosball, ping pong)! The hot tub had been delivered that day and was not filled with water. We phoned the office/manager on Saturday morning to express our concerns over the hot tub. They said they would send someone out to take a look. The maintenance guy arrived and was in the process of filling it when we left for the day to do some activities. We arrived back to the home around dinner time and while yes, the hot tub was filled...it was set to 80degrees. Now if you know anything about a HOT tub, you know it should be HOT and around 100 degrees. It was chilly outside - low 40s - and we really wanted to jump in the hot tub to relax. It wasn't until midnight that the hot tub had increased it's temp to over 95 degrees. Other items that should have been taken care of prior to our arrival: - killing the wasp nest outside the master - cleaning the oven and air vents - changing the filter on the fridge's water dispenser - Wi-Fi password (which didn't matter when we did get it because it never worked while we were there). - completely unusable grill outside due to a large hole and the cleanliness of it. I don't want to be a property manager when I go on vacation. I don't want to have to detail every little thing wrong and keep calling the rental office to report these things. You mean to tell me that no one walked the property and wondered where ANY of the foosball, ping pong or pool tables were? When mentioning the above to the manager of Sandbridge, I was told they have a compensation formula for missing amenities. Guess what. $25 per day is not going to cut it. I booked this place specifically for the amenities and the number of rooms. You checked off one of the things I needed. I never would have stayed an hour away from where we were hosting activities if it didn't include the amenities. I could have spent less money on a hotel room for each couple that came with us. Oh and I'm still waiting for the manager to call me back with an update on what she found about my claims... (two weeks later). Needless to say, hope they have finished renovations before you stay here.
