We stayed in Valley View for a weekend only. We arrived early, planning to stroll around the beautiful grounds until check-in. Very fortuitously, we were able to check in early. Everyone we met could not have been more welcoming. The accommodation was exactly as presented on the website. Exceptionally clean and cared for. We had such a relaxing time. The location is so very lovely, the views are wonderful.

We had a great stay at a great location. The countryside is beautifull and a lot of the surrounding sounds are nice and sound familiar. The location is pratical for day trips in the region. In half an hour to one hour we arrived at our destanation for the day. Ideal for us.

I booked to stay in Valley View with my husband and two children (10 and 2) for a few days, well needed break.
From the moment we booked the information we were provided with, about not only the venue itself but also the ongoings within the area such as restaurants, pubs, tourist attractions etc, was so so incredibly helpful. Any queries were always answered promptly.
On arrival, as we drove through the gates we felt like we had hit the jackpot. It is located in a quiet, yet convenient, area and the scenes were absolutely breathtaking. You are welcomed by the natural noises of the farm and it is almost indescribable - It was simply fantastic.
Beautiful walks, conveniently placed benches on route, stunning lake scenes ( bring your walking boots :) )
We were able to help feed the chickens, sheep and ducks in the morning and pick our own eggs which was just delightful. My daughters confidence has grown as the animals were so friendly and my son has come back home feeling like the David Attenborough of Upper Vobster Farm.
The room itself was spotless and modern with really comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchen had everything you needed from a spoon to a soup blender!
Everyone was so friendly and everything about our break was faultless. We will be booking to go back in the summer (if there is availability!).

Every detail said 'you're special - you deserve our utmost care and love' from the beautiful fresh flowers, the pristine cleanliness and the comfortable beds to the soft white robes and thick towels, I felt like I was wrapped up in love. Then there were the views and the most beautiful scenery and historical farmland to explore. A beautiful stay and I'd recommend it 100%.

This is one of my favourite places in the world to stay.
Every detail is taken care of from beautiful bath linen, to fluffy towels and a fabulous well stocked kitchen with all the basics - tea, coffee, scrummy chocolate biscuits etc. thank you Tricia and Micheal it’s such a treat to stay .

Valley View is a lovely spacious and very supportive home, whilst away from home.
Huge windows which offer a delightful view of the valley below as well as the surrounding area that has beautiful walking paths and gorgeous scenery, which were enjoyed each day.

We had an absolute fantastic time at the farm. Our host Micheal was very accommodating and was an all around gentleman. The facilties were in perfect condition and the rooms were very clean. The room has a fantastic view - the pictures don't do it justice.
The animals were a definite highlight of our stay. We got the chance to feed the animals twice everyday. Our daughter loved it!
This is a perfect spot whether you are a solo traveler, with a partner, or with kids. Highly recommend it.

Upper Vobster was a beautiful place to stay. The accommodation is wonderful, and our children loved meeting the animals. Michael and Tricia were great hosts, too.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Upper Vobster Farm recently. It is a joy to see all of the well-cared for animals and to meet the new addition - a goose. We also enjoyed walks around the farm and local visits to places.

warm , friendly and welcoming hosts - excellent heating, sleeping, showering and kitchen facilities at Valley View.
easy access to Bath and surrounding villages .. our 3 year old grandson’s excited remark was that he loved to visit wild places with the farm animals .by which I think he meant it was beautifully remote & in the Somerset countryside

We have just stayed in the valley view suite and found it absolutely gorgeous. The standard and quality was the best with stunning views and furnishings that have been sensitively chosen. To have a separate kitchenette was an absolute bonus. The feel of the room left us wanting to stay longer to absorb more of the feeling and ambiance of the Farm. We can hand on heart recommend Upper Vobster Farm for a restful and revitalising break.

We stayed at Upper Vobster Farm for two nights and we had a lovely time. Everything was so tidy and clean and we had the most amazing view from or windows. My 5yo son had the best time when he helped feeding all the animals in the morning with lovely Ciara. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and would love to stay there again in the future.

Booked for two nights whilst in the area to visit Longleat with my two grandchildren. Extremely enjoyable stay, children loved feeding the animals each morning in a very relaxed atmosphere. Staff/Owner met very friendly and helpful. Accommodation spot on and furnished to a high standard. Pond areas lovely to sit and relax by, small park area for children useful. Nice walks available. Would recommend to anyone and would not think twice about re-booking if in that area in the future.

Amazing view of farm from the spacious room
The room was well set and was spacious for 3 adults to share- everything was thought for and catered to.
As it is said- beauty is in the details and this place was well thought for all your comfort and a real getaway.
Right from the roses outside to smell of the room and everything in between was well administered.
Highly recommend to stay at this property.

Stunning place to stay, every detail thought of
Valley View was a stunning place to stay. Every detail was thought of from the amazing hamper on arrival to the beautiful fresh white interiors to the incredible grounds and woodland walks! Highly recommend, Tricia and Michael were excellent hosts.

Excellent stay
Had a lovely time at Upper Vobster Farm. We stayed at valley view. The accommodation has everything to include thoughtful touches like spare umbrellas and hairdryer as well as toiletries etc. The whole farm experience was very relaxing and comfortable. The staff to include Natalie, Richard and Adam went out of their way to make us feel comfortable esp any children. Would love to visit again. It was lovely to meet Michael and he was very kind.

A lovely stay at Upper Vobster Farm
I stayed at Upper Vobster Farm recently and the beauty of the farm is breath taking. It was a frosty and sunny morning and was stunning - looking across the ponds and the woods. There is so much land around the farm for walks in the ancient woodland, along the stream, past the animals. it is beautiful. The room itself was very clean with so many lovely details that make you feel very cared for and at home. I would highly recommend Upper Vobster Farm as a place to stay. It is so much more than a quick stop over and is unlike anywhere I have stayed before. The owners are lovely and very welcoming and Toby the dog is also very friendly and loves to say hello.

An absolute gem of a place!
What an absolute gem of a place! Me and my family enjoyed every minute of our stay at Upper Vobster Farm. Valley View, our home away from home, was just so cosy and lush and the colour scheme was spot on!
The sounds of the farm animals, the serenity of the fish in the fish pond and the warmth of the owners and staff made this such a memorable stay.
Thank you for letting me and my family create such beautiful memories we will cherish forever.

The best view ever
The care and dedication taken at Vobster Farm is out of this world. Every single tiny detail was thought of to take care of any need. It was first class in every way, from the standard in our room to the views and walks on a beautifully kept farm. I loved it and would go back time and time again.
