About this apartment rental
This suite has a private entrance from the garage. Suite is located above the garage, the main house is a one story, the private suite is upstairs by itself with no wall directly connected to the home. There is no interaction with the main house. The suite has an adjustable split Tempur-Pedic king bed that is so amazingly comfortable! The bed has white cotton sheets with laundered duvet cover. Suite also has an electric fireplace. Cozy table/desk overlooking the front garden. Perfect for dining or a workspace. Suite also has a futon for extra room and a 40" Smart TV. Please see photos and all the amenities. Why will you fall in love with this listing.... We give our guests full use of the waterfront. Home is located on the Main Channel. What does this mean? You are not in a cove, water is nice and views of the lake are amazing. Our dock sits on water that is 25+ feet deep. A perfect location to fish. We even have fishing poles available in the garage. The guest boat slip always has deep water and has an electrical outlet for charging on fishing boats. The dock is well maintained and in beautiful condition. The covered dock has comfortable wicker seating, small propane grill, mini fridge, WIFI mesh router, and a google mini that will play your favorite music. This is great to enjoy year round rain or shine. If you get up early and head to the dock the sunrise is beautiful. We have a beautiful paved road that is great for a morning or afternoon walk! Come and enjoy all the scenery! We provide two kayaks and 2 paddle boards at no charge. Unfortunately we do not allow the boat ramp at the property to be used to load and unload boats, PWCs or trailers. There are two public ramps just a few miles away. . Pinnacle Access and McCrary / Queens Landing access. You are welcome to relax in the lounge chairs on the boat ramp Just to confirm... We do have a guest limit of two people as this is for peaceful getaways, we only allow registered guests to come to the property. Due to the fact we have two Golden Retrievers we do not allow pets. We do not surcharge for anything or have any hidden fees. We also charge a very reasonable cleaning fee.

Words simply cannot describe how much we enjoyed our visit and how amazing this property is! The suite is extremely clean and well appointed and the attention to details is superb. It has everything you need! The bed is super comfy! The location is private and the property and dock are absolutely beautiful! Our host, Nicole is awesome! She is so sweet and helpful and made sure everything was perfect. We met the fur babies who are so adorable and sweet. We are looking so forward to many more visits to this property!

The room above the garage was perfect. The big windows with the lake view and the garden view made it seem bigger than it actually was. With an amazing king size bed, nice bathroom and an adequate kitchenette, cleverly set up in the walk-in closet, you had everything you needed.

We stayed for 3 nights in August and it was fantastic. We have stayed in many, many, other places and this one was one of the best, if not the best place we have stayed. Everything was done to the highest quality including the suite and the outdoor amenities. It was hard to leave this peaceful, beautiful oasis but we will be back again soon. Nicole is the best hostess!

This is an awesome lakefront suite. Everything was clean and neat. The suite had everything you would need. Nicole and Michael were there for anything else we needed. This is a 10/10 accommodation. The dock at the waterfront is covered with colorful lighting. It has WiFi, a TV, fan, gas grill, refrigerator, and plenty of comfortable seating. We hope to go there again next year.

dishes but have to wash in bathroom sink..Love the coffee cups she had...Plenty of K cups provided . We would differently stay here again...The only down side was our last day Mayflies came out☹️.. We had a delightful one night stay on the lake with Nicole and Michael as our hosts. We used the grill and enjoyed our evening on the dock, and enjoyed taking out the kayaks. It’s a wonderful place close enough to Charlotte to make it easy to get to, yet different enough to feel like you’re really away.

This property provided a wonderful relaxing get away for my husband and myself. Nicole was a great hostess and the room had everything we needed! I wanted to surprise my son with a last minute getaway to Lake Norman for July 4th and this rental became available for the night. My main concern was making sure I could figure out getting the boat to/from the marina to the house as I didn't have anyone else that could drive the boat or my trailer. Even though I ended up to keeping the trailer at the marina for the one night, Nicole made sure to check with me and offer help, should I need the help.
We got the lake prior to checkin and Nicole was once again, amazing as she let us in the room before check-in so that my son could get changed really fast. It was such a cute place to stay with everything that we needed. The location was also away from the busy areas of the lake which was a huge bonus!
I will definitely be back and look forward to seeing Nicole again! Thank you again Nicole for everything!

Nicole was extremely quick at responding to any questions that we had.
Our flight got cancelled on way out, not getting us in until 3am. Nicole messaged to check in on us and then told us she left the lights on for us so we could easily check in.
I hope we get the chance to stay there again! In the top 3 of my favorite VRBOs we have ever stayed in.

What a wonderful home away from home! Our room was just perfect. Nicely designed, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable.
We enjoyed a bottle of wine sitting on the dock while taking in the beauty of the lake.
Nicole was extremely welcoming when we arrived & very sweet.
We even got to meet the furbabies who greeted us with wagging tails & doggie smiles.

This is a sweet, comfortable, lovely place to retreat to. Stay hidden from the world in this comfy stylish studio apartment for one or one couple. Step out to a scenic lakeside dock and covered deck. Just so nice…could have stayed for weeks, but only had a weekend. Will certainly return if the opportunity arises. It’s a wonderful getaway place.

It was great as soon as we drove in the driveway the room was everything we needed ,bed super comfortable. the dock was big and laid out perfect we bbq on dock had meals on dock we caught blue catfish off of dock every day some over 30lbs plus got strip bass .the host was so nice the two dogs were lovable it turned out to be a dream vacation .

Only had 4 nights wish I had 2 weeks. Nichole was so friendly and helpful. Total privacy in n our unit. beautiful room with an everything we needed. Heated up a pizza on the grill on the dock. Glass of wine sitting on the dock on a beautiful night gazing over lake Norman. I as able to use the garage to store some of our stuff rather than hauling upstairs. We will return several times in the future. Loved our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed an overnight here. The room is beautifully appointed and everything you might need is conveniently located. We were impressed with the clever use of space to provide sleeping, cooking, and eating space. Peaceful and quiet is certainly an appropriate description of the facility, but it fails to highlight the natural beauty of the setting and the beautiful and interesting decorations. The bed is very comfortable. The hosts are welcoming, gracious, and promptly responsive. We suggest that you make time to enjoy sitting on the delightful dock in this gorgeous setting.

Where to start....Nicole was a gracious host along with her two side kicks Max and Murphy. Everything was easy to access and the location was one of the prettiest along Lake Norman's shore. We did dinner on the dock along with some fishing and fire pit. The outdoor amenities went well above and beyond. The bed was super soft and inviting after the long days of outdoor fun. My girlfriend and I decided to take a trip out of state for our 4 year anniversary. We decided to stay near Charlotte, it's about 40 minute drive, but the lake view was well worth it! We had so much fun fishing and grilling up our food on the dock, we loved saying hi to our hosts Max and Murphy 🐶 There were so many lovely amenities and details to make our stay here feel so comfortable and at home. We would absolutely stay here again or with one of their lovely neighbors also recommended to us. Even at an odd time of year where it's not too hot or cold, the stay was amazing. So much to do and everyone was so kind. 10/10 trip :)
