About this cabin rental

Welcome to your home away from home. Tucked away in beautiful Crane Shores located along Cascade Lake with access via neighborhood trails. This home backs up to public land and makes you feel as though you’ve escaped to the mountains while still having all the comforts of home. The backyard is full of native plants and wildlife along with a large fire pit area for roasting s’mores and an extensive covered patio. Enjoy the neighborhood walking paths and a private park with covered picnic tables.

The entire cabin is available for guests to use, except a few locked closets

The cabin is located on a large lot just west of Donnelly and about  12 miles from McCall. Tamarack Resort is 5 miles down the road and Brundage Mountain is about 20 miles away.  Jug Mountain Ranch and Golf Course is just 10 miles from the cabin.

Outside, the home is surrounded by natural surrounds that lead down to the north section of Cascade Lake and there are views of the west mountain range, Tamarack Ski Resort and Jug Mountain. The covered patio features a gas grill.  Enjoy s'mores and endless stars around the outdoor fire pit.

Outdoor attractions like Payette Lake, the Salmon and Payette Rivers, Jug Handle Mountain Bike Trails and four golf course are all within close range to explore, and in winter the resorts boast fresh powder trails and full amenities! McCall and the nearby historic city of Roseberry are simply charming, offering fun for the whole group.

Reservation Terms: Full rent is due immediately unless a payment plan was pre-approved.

Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is at 4:00 pm, and check-out is at 10:00 am. Early check-in or late departures require prior authorization and may incur a $25 per hour fee.

Events/Parties: Events or parties are not allowed.

Pets: Not all properties are pet friendly. (ONLY DOGS ALLOWED AT PET FRIENDLY PROPERTIES) Where allowed, pets require pre-approval before booking and a $75 fee PER pet will be assessed and must be paid prior to arrival. Approval of pets are determined by several factors. Ex: age, weight, breed, amount of shedding and sex. If approval is granted but the pet fee(s) are not paid, a pet will be considered unauthorized. A $500 penalty (per pet) will be assessed to the primary guest if there is evidence that unauthorized animal(s) were outside and/or inside the cabin at any point during your stay. In addition, a group with an unauthorized pet might be asked to immediately depart, with no refund. In any event, damage done by a pet will incur an additional charge, whether authorized or unauthorized.


Smoking/Fireworks: Smoking, vaping, and fireworks are not allowed on the property.

Damage: Guests are responsible for any damages and must report them to management immediately.

Courtesy: Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am.

Cancellation: We abide by the cancellation policy agreed to at booking.

Home Furnishings: Please do not rearrange furniture.

Amenities: Management has 24 hours to repair amenities.

Fire Safety: Follow fire pit rules, and guests are responsible for any fire damage.

Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs): Operation of OHVs is not permitted on the property but street legal vehicles are allowed on public roads.

Trailer/RV Parking: RV parking requires pre-authorization and a $25 nightly fee.

Hot Tub: If this home has a hot tub (not all homes have hot tubs), please follow hot tub guidelines; a $150 charge applies for "drain and fill."

Wi-Fi: As cabins are frequently located in a rural area, please be prepared for slow/spotty Wi-Fi and internet. Management makes every effort to ensure the Wi-Fi is in working condition, but cannot guarantee the internet will always be reliable, and will not permit refunds due to Wi-Fi/internet issues.

Capacity: Adhere to agreed-upon guest numbers.

Management is not responsible for the following: fires, smoke, algae bloom, water levels of the lake, lack of snow, abundance of snow, changing of the seasons, temperature highs, temperature lows, power outages, rain, mud, ice, etc. We are also not responsible for insects and/or animals (including: mosquitos, ants, spiders, bats, bears, deer, mice, mountain lions, bobcats, any animals that get into trash, or their droppings.) With being located in the mountains, we do our best to prevent these issues, however there are instances where it is inevitable. There will be no refund for any of the above listed issues. We loved this cabin. The space was beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable.

My family of 6 (kids aged 12, 9, 6, and 1) all had a blast at this home. It is just beautiful. The quality of the finishes, the setting, everything is perfect. Home was extremely clean and felt very welcoming. The check in and out process was a breeze. Contacting the property management company when needed was super easy. The beds were very comfortable, linens are superb, bathrooms are amazing and the great room on the main floor is lovely. Im not sure why, but the listing states the queen bed is in common spaces, which its not. There is a master with a king and huge ensuite (seriously this bathroom is amazing), a bedroom with a queen bed, and a bedroom with 2 twin bunk beds. Upstairs also has an open area with a sleeper sofa and tv, the laundry room, and a generous sized bathroom with tub. On the main floor is a mud room, half bath and then a great room with kitchen, dining and living room all in one. Backyard is lovely. Neighborhood is quiet. My only minor complaint about this house is the steps into the house from either front or back decks and also the garage are all too tall and have no hand railing. Im recovering from a torn tendon, so that was a bit difficult. This house is stunning. I highly, HIGHLY, recommend it. We will be back.

This is a great property. The home is beautiful. The home was clean - spotless, which we love. There were added touches that made it extra special. There were lake towels to use. There were roasting sticks and lighter fluid for the fire pit. There were extra toothbrushes. There was an extra ice chest for day adventures. It felt like they thought of everything to help us have a wonderful time... We really loved our stay. There were two things I wish were different: Kitchen: There isn't room in any of the cabinets to store your groceries. What we think was the pantry had a lock on it. All of our groceries had to stay out on the kitchen counters. It just seemed cluttered, and it took away from the beauty of the kitchen. Master Bedroom: There are 6 windows in the master bedroom. (If I remember correctly). Half of them have light filtering shades and the other half have no shades at all. The other bedrooms have blackout shades. I would have preferred blackout shades in the master, or at least shades on all the windows. It's a beautiful home and you can't go wrong staying here. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Property was very clean with wonderful amenities. Very peaceful neighborhood to take evening walks around. Would definitely rebook this property again and again.
