Recently updated, conveniently located on a quiet cul-de-sac & flanked by beautiful gardens & landscaping - This home gets even better inside! Improvements include; A new upscale kitchen & butler pantry w/wet bar, bath renovations & new windows. The spacious living & dining areas feature tall ceilings w/Vigas & a cozy kiva fireplace. The entire home is radiant heated & has beautiful saltillo tile throughout. Outside the portal overlooks the lush backyard w/soothing water fountain & park access.
CASA CARMILITA is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood. This 2 bedroom 2 bath home has recently been updated. The new kitchen features new stainless steel appliances (Bosch) and includes a new butler's pantry with an extra oven, an extra full sized refrigerator, custom cabinets and a full wet bar. The great room includes an ample dining and living area with beautiful vigas at the 10ft ceilings, custom lighting, a Kiva fireplace and is stylishly decorated. Both bedrooms are spacious - The master has a king size bed, walk in closet and in suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom is equipped with an adjustable queen size bed, and a double closet. Another full bath is located in the hallway next to the laundry room. The laundry is large with a full sized washer and dryer, full cabinetry and plenty of room for folding and hanging clothes. The home has radiant heating and beautiful saltillo tile throughout. The living area has 8ft french doors leading to the spacious patio (portal). This outside living area includes space for outdoor eating, a gas grill and sitting area that overlook the lush backyard. The water fountain and bird feeders create soothing sounds of calming water, birds & wildlife. Best of all the backyard has private access to the adjacent park, community garden, walking trail, basketball court and apple orchard.
CASA CARMILITA is conveniently and centrally located in mid-town Santa Fe 3.4 miles from The Plaza, Museums, downtown restaurants & historical sites. (10min drive).
The famed Canyon Road and its many art Galleries is also a short drive away. (12min). The Santa Fe Ski area is just north of the city limits and the Santa Fe Opera is 17 minutes away.

The "Cielo Vista" neighborhood is located between Cerrillos Road and Aqua Fria street and just south of St Francis Drive. More Restaurants, grocery stores, and many shopping options are a mere 5 minutes away. This home has off street parking including in the one car garage and parking pad/driveway (2 spaces total - not including the driveway to the garage).

We enjoyed the property, the bed was comfortable, neighborhood is quiet, my dogs enjoyed the back yard and the small park with a walking trail that is located behind the property. All in all it was a great experience, the host was very attentive to any needs or questions that we had. I would recommend this property.

This is an exceptional place to stay in Santa Fe. It is an easy drive to the Plaza from it, yet far enough away to be a quiet place to stay. The furnishings and appliances were in top condition. The beds are very soft with foam tops. The yard was perfect for our 45 lb. dog. Communication with the property manager was easy and prompt. Highly recommend, especially if traveling with a pet.

The pictures barely do it justice. Decorated so nicely and furnished with everything you need. It was extra special to find a community playground AND a community garden out back. Location was great and our host very responsive to questions. If back in Santa Fe I’d stay here again.

We want this amazing home to be our place to stay every time we are in Santa Fe! We come here a couple times a year and have been trying out places to find our favorite. And, this one is our absolute favorite. Hands down! Convenient location for everything we do all over town and so perfectly cozy for us. We comfortably cooked in the kitchen and sat out on the patio to relax in the evenings with the outdoor lights. The garden is beautiful! We had fires in the kiva and enjoyed the all around shower. The bed was relaxing and the spaciousness of the floor plan allowed us to feel expansive and connected to each other wherever we were in the home. The close proximity to the nearby parks is great for dog walking and getting some movement in our routine. That they were welcoming of our pups was so wonderful! And, Fidel was a gracious and very helpful host. We felt very welcomed, and had no issues addressing any questions we had. The home had everything we needed and more! We look forward to coming back in a different season very soon!

Fabulous home for our small family get together! The home is even more beautiful than the pictures and is exceptionally clean and well appointed! Fidel was very accommodating when we had a last minute glitch in our plans. The fenced backyard/garden was perfect for our dog and for relaxing with a glass of wine. The rear gate to a small park was so convenient for short walks with the pup. Thank you, Fidel! We will definitely be returning!

Fidel’s place is a real gem! The house is very well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed the garden and patio - so nice to have our coffee in the morning and wine in the evening listening to the birds. Will stay here again soon!

This was a great stay for Easter. The pet friendly house and the parks nearby were ideal for our dog. The house is lovely inside and within a few miles of anything you need in the city.

The house is a jewel box. Light, airy, scrupulously clean and sparkly. Approximately decorated in modern, southwestern decor it is furnished with every convenience imaginable. Everything I thought of, Fidel had already done, and done well. The only thing it lacked ( that I could even imagine) were bidet, and he will probably have those next year. Those aren’t even necessary, of course,. This gorgeous place even had separate thermostats in the bedrooms!!! What luxury, because I sleep cold and my friend likes it just the opposite. We were both thrilled. My puppy throughly loved the fenced yard with gravel walking paths. I learned he could smell the dry chilis hanging on the portal. Who knew? It truly is pet friendly and easy clean up on accidents, but I don’t think we had any. It’s 10 minutes to La Fonda where our seminar was located. Easy parking. You won’t believe the garage- you could eat off the floor if you were so inclined. You will love this perfect gem - but not over Presidents Day., 2024. I’ll have it booked again during that time, if Fidel will take me back.

This home was ideal for my partner and I to visit Santa Fe with his mother. The layout of the home gave us ample privacy and the kitchen was perfect for making meals. Location of the home is close to everything!
