About this house rental

Our cabin #1 has a very cozy feel. You will relax the moment you set foot inside. Sleeps 6, access to our private shore front, 2 paddle boards, 3 kayaks, 2 jet ski lifts, Roku TV, full kitchen and more. If you are in to trail riding you can access Denton and Leota right from our front door! We have three units available. Extended stay rates are available upon request.

Perfect location to enjoy Lake Houghton. Provided kayaks and paddleboards made the trip for us and our grandkids.

The location was great. The neighbors were friendly. The only thing I wished for was a sandy area for the kids to play in, but there was a sandy public beach not that far from the house. The owner was extremely responsive during our stay. Nice breeze off the lake.

Perfect location and the cabin reminded us of the cottage my grampa had up here, so we enjoyed reminiscing. Everything worked except the few bulbs in some of the lamps. Other than that, it was just what we were looking for! Great experience for all of us!

This is a great place to either spend the day in the local area, or to head to other places. We used it as jumping off point to head to the UP for a day trip, and to do some local putt-putt etc. If you're looking for a sandy beach for kids, it's a short drive away. Our two teen girls enjoyed the water and the paddle boards. Bring extra cash for local restaurants. Most places charged a convenience fee for credit cards. With the breeze from the water, we didn't need to use the a/c at all. I enjoyed our stay here.

Cabin was comfortable, clean, and had everything you would need for a great stay. Dave one of the property managers answered my few questions I had in a timely professional manager. View of Houghton Lake was spectacular and locals and other cabin renters where very friendly during our stay. Will defiantly plan another stay next summer :)

We really enjoyed our weekend at this property. The cottage was very well equipped with all the essentials which was very much appreciated. (The Keurig was a big plus for me!!) Everything about this cabin is exactly what is pictured & was so cozy & comfortable to stay at! The dock access is super convenient as well! We would most definitely stay again in the future!

This is a very well kept up cabin just steps from Houghton Lake. There are 3 cabins on the property and they all have access to a dock with paddle boards, and kayaks. If you have a boat there is a place to anchor it off the dock and there are jet ski lifts available. The host is very responsive. It was the perfect size for me to share a couple of days on the lake with 3 of my Grandchildren. I will definately be back

Charming place on the lake. Very clean, new appliances, superb shower pressure. Check in and out procedure couldn’t have been easier. We’ll be back!

We had a great weekend of baseball, the cabin was just perfect. Nice neighborhood, quiet, easy to get to, has everything you need, property manager awesome and easy to work with, we’ll be staying again on not such a busy weekend so we can enjoy the property even more.

Our previous rental cancelled on us a week before we were to arrive. We scrambled to find a new place to stay. While it wasn't the same as we had previously booked, we had a great time. The place was very clean and had everything we needed.
