Enjoy peaceful luxury in this gorgeous four-bedroom, four-bath, private 1.1-acre waterfront retreat on Lake Montauk.
Let your spirits soar in this beautiful 3,500 sq ft designer home with 20-foot ceilings, open water, and sky views from the living and dining areas. This is a perfect house for family vacations. The living room is furnished a comfortable sectional sofa emphasizing colorful simplicity, while the spacious dining room has an antique wooden table for ten—all with two working wood-burning fireplaces. There is also a table for 8 on the outdoor patio.
The house has a chef's kitchen with white marble countertops and top-of-the-line new appliances, including a Viking gas stove, as well as professional cookware, plates, glasses, and everything you'll need for your entertaining. There is a wrap-around cedar deck, and the patio and pool areas are Turkish travertine. There is also an outdoor Weber gas and charcoal grill.
There are 4 elegantly designed bedrooms inside the house. There are 3 1/2 baths inside and another full bath in the pool house. There is an office with a double sized sofabed upstairs.
Two bedrooms on the main floor have king-size beds, and each enjoys expansive water views with sliders and a deck. They share a full bathroom.
The stairs to the second floor are open treads. There you will find a magnificent king bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a stand-alone soaking tub overlooking Lake Montauk. Just down the hallway, you will find another bedroom with a full/twin bunk bed with a trundle bed. the bunk and trundle are for children's weight. This bedroom also has a full ensuite bathroom with backyard views.
High-end pillows, sheets, bed covers, and linens ensure memorable rest and comfort. There is abundant closet space with dressers in every room.
A 30x40 ft heated outdoor pool and a pool house are available MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND through Sept.There are three adult and two child-size kayaks with life vests available to cruise Lake Montauk. There are four bikes. Please bring your own helmets. You will be required to sign a Water and Bike Waiver.

The house was exactly as advertised. It was perfect for our, quick fall getaway. Being lakeside was peaceful and private. We enjoyed easy access to great hikes in the adjacent state parks and sunrise views. It was everything we hoped for!

We loved this house and property! It had everything that we needed and was the perfect house for 3 families. It's unusual to find 3 king bedrooms, plus a bedroom with bunk beds for the kids. The house has a great layout which comfortably fit the 9 of us. The wrap around deck overlooking Lake Montauk was an idyllic spot for morning coffee or afternoon backgammon games. The pool and jacuzzi were used daily by the whole family. The kitchen was well stocked with a comfortable layout even when there were multiple 'chefs' working at the same time.

Amazing property tucked away from the hustle and bustle and within 10min of everything. Imagine waking up each morning with the sea breeze blowing on your face, birds chirping and the son shining. Our group enjoyed this stunning property to the fullest. My 11 month old enjoyed our morning walks down to the water and a quick swing to start each day.

We had a fantastic time staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. The home was even better in person than pictured in the listing. The space has a great flow to it, had lots of space for us to gather together for games or movies, and a nice indoor/outdoor feel because of the huge windows everywhere. The kitchen has everything you need to cook (we cooked/grilled both nights and even made a cake!). It was so peaceful and quiet being right on the lake, and so close to nature—we saw several deer in the neighbor’s yard! Absolutely loved this space.

My stay was simply magical. This waterfront property is everything it is advertised to be and more. The sunrise and sunset views are simply breathtaking. The property has wonderful energy and is extremely peaceful. The appliances are top of the line. The property is exceptionally maintained. The furniture, the artwork, the design of the home, its placement by the water and Jamelle's attentiveness and attention to every detail creates a simply magical oasis on the waterfront. I look forward to coming back in the summer to relax by the pool. I highly recommend this property. I had a peaceful, relaxing, restorative and enjoyable time. The owner has thought of everything. It was unanimous. Everyone in family thought this property was the best we experienced in Montauk in our 30 years plus of renting homes. Montauk Waterfront Perfection
I rented this beautiful waterfront retreat for Thanksgiving so all of my family could be together—It was just perfection.
You enter the cul de sac, drive down a long, well-lit driveway, and arrive at the house nestled directly on the water. When you walk through the door, you just exhale. At least I did after the drive from Manhattan.
The house is incredible, and it's so much bigger and better than the pictures. The kitchen was fantastic to cook in, and it was used a lot. The high-end appliances made it easy to prepare our feast. There was plenty of tabletop pieces such as white Crate and Barrel dishes and beautiful stemware and barware. The weekend was windy and cold, and the two back-to-back fireplaces (one in the living room and one in the kitchen) gave natural warmth and coziness to our gathering. The owner graciously provided enough firewood for a few days. Montauk is so beautiful this time of year, and it's directly on the water, so don't be afraid to come in the winter; what is green and flowery in the summer turns lovely shades of browns and beiges, and there are plenty of evergreens on the property. Everyone loved their sleeping accommodations. My brother and his family stayed upstairs. I would consider the upstairs suites very private, and the remainder were in the king bedrooms on the ground floor with spectacular sunrise views, perfect for meditating. The bathrooms looked newly renovated. I loved the upstairs one with a standalone soaking tub.
We took family photos outside by the water on Thanksgiving Day. On Friday, we played scrabble around the large glass coffee table with a roaring fire during the rain and used the super cool large telescope for stargazing when the rain cleared.
We drove to view a few sunsets that were just breathtaking, albeit at around 4:20 pm! And the house is central to everything—a short drive to town and the dock area.
I can only imagine how wonderful this house is during the summer season.
Janelle, the host, was gracious and attentive. I highly recommend this property, and we will be back.
