Introducing the Dolphin House, our private 3,700 sq ft 4 bedroom, 3 full bath, 2 half bath home for 8 guests, located on a large corner lot in an upscale quiet Poipu Beach neighborhood, Kiahuna Golf Village, and featuring a beautifully landscaped private yard complete with an 850 sq ft heated swimming pool, and BBQ. NEW IMPROVED split zoned air conditioning throughout home. Indoor and outdoor dining.
This meticulously cleaned, well-stocked home features comfortable beds with fine linens, smart tvs, with cable, and the best possible high speed WIFI is provided by the local cable company, Spectrum Cable, to create an outstanding environment for an intimate group to gather.
With beautiful ocean and golf course views from its second floor, this spacious custom designed home boasts a fully stocked Chef's kitchen with a propane cooktop, indoor dining , comfortable beds, fine bed linens, television, and high speed WIFI.
Two half baths - one up and one down - are added conveniences, with the outdoor shower near the swimming pool to rinse off the beach sand.
The home's swimming pool and BBQ area is private and relaxing, and is beautifully maintained and accented with tropical landscaping and lava rock walls.
Located near Poipu white sand beaches, restaurants and shops, this well appointed home features two living areas - one up and one down - to gather comfortably, or to read and work solo.
The laundry room is where you will find the beach towels. Laundry soap provided.

Voices carry in the still of early morning and late evening in this peaceful neighborhood. The Kiahuna Golf Village HOA Board has hired a Security Service and has set up a noise violation and fine system. If Security is called to investigate noise at this property and determines there is a noise violation, the property owner will be fined. If the property owner is fined for a noise violation caused by a paying guest, the fine will be deducted from the guest's $1000 damage deposit being held by VRBO.

Thank you so much for your attentive service during our family stay. The home was beautifully appointed, so clean, and the Christmas tree we requested at the last minute, was beautiful. My wife actually cried when she saw it.
The home's air temperature was perfect. We were able to set the temperature in each bedroom and in the living-kitchen-dining area to our liking.
The huge dining table was our gathering spot every night after a day of hiking or beaching etc.. The kitchen worked well for our family meals, and the cabinet of games was a nice touch.
The white linens and towels were replenished and the kitchen and bathrooms were cleaned by the housekeepers midway through our stay, and the full size washer and dryer in the laundry room was stocked with Persil laundry soap. And the Kai diffuser was an over the top touch. Well done. We'll be back! Mahalo and Aloha, Joe H

We loved the place! It was nice, modern, big, roomy, spotlessly clean, and well fitted with everything needed. Especially appreciated the laundry facilities which allowed us to keep our clothes clean during our stay AND return home with clean things so no need for that post-vacation duty! The pool was excellent -- perfect temperature, perfect water. We also liked how convenient it was to restaurants and shopping, and a great base for the excursions we took around the island. Beds were plus and comfortable, which was great after very busy days. Very "homey" and quiet neighborhood.
Owners/management are VERY concerned about noise so not a place for rowdy gatherings or even noisy children. We chalk that up to neighbors who likely have complained, but we were a very quiet family of calm adults so had no issues (nor did we cause any).

Property is great and in a great location. Close to beach and restaurants. Pool is great. Adjacent golf course is nice . Check-in and Check-out process was easy. House has unusual layout with kitchen and great room on second floor and bedrooms on first floor. Can be difficult for grandparents. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Love the great room upstairs and nice big kitchen. The pool was the star of the stay. Very large pool was great to come home to and cool off and have some fun. The house is in a great location. We had a great time!!
The only negative would be the bedrooms doors are not really doors at all. They have open slats that allows noise in as if they are not there. And the washing machine sounds like a jet is taking off in the house. But overall a wonderful home and we had a great time!!!

Beautiful house and property, nice quiet location. Tonnes of space, especially with just my wife and I, but was nice to come back to the pool at the end of the day to relax. Very nice open space and kitchen with wrap around deck on the second level, perfect for cooking and relaxing. Check in and communication all a breeze. Thank you!

Everything was as advertised. Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood on the golf course with pool. Just a short drive to the beach, hiking, golf and shopping in Poipu. Could not have been better. For one week our little slice of tropical paradise!

The neighborhood is beautiful. The house was big and comfortable. The pool was amazing! Having access to the athletic club was a nice bonus. The golf course was beautiful. The views from the deck were amazing. I do agree with one of the other reviews regarding the the bathrooms( shower valves could use some TLC) . As well as one of the BBQs needing TLC. The host was great with responding to the small issues and any questions. Overall best stay ever hands down! You do not want to pass in this place! Would love to stay here again!!

Our stay at the Dolphin House was very relaxing. The house had everything we needed (enough rooms/beds for our family, supplies, pool towels, beach items, etc.). The location is fantastic. Walking distance to the shopping center and a short drive to other shopping and Poipu Beach. We loved the pool and the fountain/waterfall that turned on each day.
Beds were comfortable and there are a lot of places to kick back and relax.
We did have a few minor issues while we were at the property and the property management company was very responsive. Nothing that impacted our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

This is an unbelievably spectacular property. Huge house. Wrap around deck. Massive kitchen all overlooking the golf course with partial views of the ocean. The 800 sq foot pool in the back was a big hit with my boys and may for a great way to end a beach or adventure day with a dip in the pool and a cold beer or glass of wine. Pure heaven! Grills in back were perfect for cooking steaks or fish that we caught. We felt like we never had to leave to go out to eat as the house and amenities were so fabulous! There were plenty of beach chairs and boggy boards to take down to the beach which was only a 1/2 mile away!!! Golf course was beautiful, fun to play and easy to get a tee time - vacation of a lifetime for us!!! Only thing I will mention is the waterfall and dolphin fountain in the pool are in a timer that runs from 11:00am to 4:00 pm. We missed enjoying this many days because we were at the beach on an adventure tour on the island. It would be great if it ran for a longer period of time in the morning, or from 8:00-10:00 am then maybe in the afternoon/evening from 3:00-6:00 pm so we could enjoy it more when we were at the house. But otherwise totally recommend staying here at this fabulous home!!!! Thanks for letting us be spiked and enjoy your home! Hoping to come back again someday!!!!!

We loved this home. We spent the Christmas & New Years here with grandparent to grandchildren. Location was close to everything we needed, there was plenty of room to spread out if we wanted, a large living area to gather as a family and the deck & pool were welcomed after a day of activity. Would come back if we visit Kauai again.

Well located for Poipu Beach, Old Koloa Town, Shopping and has a beautiful, peaceful view of the golf course and off in the distance the ocean. All four bedrooms are downstairs and the living, dining, kitchen etc.. upstairs. The pool was great too. A grill upstairs by the kitchen, would have been ideal? The doors inside the house (ALL) are louvered and allow for very little privacy. Nice laundry room, towels, beach chairs, kitchen equipment etc.. One "bedroom" didn't have a closet at all?

We enjoyed our stay at this Kiahuna Village property. The pool resembles a tropical resort pool and accommodates the entire family quite comfortably.
The upstairs great room and kitchen area are perfect for family time and the view from the wrap around lanai is perfection.

We needed a rental big enough to accommodate 6 adults and 2 pre-teens. Our expectations were exceeded on everything. The balcony surrounding the upstairs living area and the swimming pool were far above our expectations.! All in all, this was a great vacation for all 8 of us.

Great Kauai home
Great house in quiet neighborhood walking distance to a lot of my favorite Kauai spots. Pool is HUGE and house is well appointed. Air conditioners in bedrooms keep it nice and cool when it’s time to sleep. Would stay there again for sure.

We appreciated the overall spaciousness and elegance of the property. Pool area was ideal for hanging out and relaxing after a day of hiking. Water feature (on a timer - 3 - 6pm) was a nice touch. Bedrooms were good sized - two with private bath. Master bedroom was spacious. Wrap-around deck gave us a nice place to sit in the morning and look out over the golf course.

Stellar home!
This house is just terrific, a beautiful home, super clean, well appointed, comfortable furnishings — all in a quiet neighborhood. We Loved the landscaping and gorgeous tropical backyard planting all around and taking in the sunset/sunrise light on the upstairs wrap around lanai — you get a long view to the water too.
Everyone slept amazing due to the great beds, cool air and dark skies. No issues with temperature controls at all. There are plenty of towels for bath and pool, ample space for loads of laundry.
There is so much room for four adults to spread out and use the two living room spaces. We swam in the pool every day—the little waterfall comes on for a few hours in the afternoon which was lovely ( and a good way to know what time is was). 10/10 in all areas.
Poipu area is perfect launching pad for other spots on the island, and close to many restaurants. This is our 10th visit to Hawaii, with Kauai being our favorite— we have stayed all over here from north shore to west side and always opted for a vacation rental homes. This home was in the top and would stay here again for sure.

Lovely Home
The home as described was clean, well equipped with a large pool and beautiful views of the golf course. The home is situated in a beautiful residential neighborhood that is quiet and less than a mile walk to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Dolphin House.

Quite Disappointing
When we first arrived it seemed great. Very clean. Great linens. The pool fountain was running and it sounded beautiful.
The next day we learned, even with coastal “trade winds” it was extremely hot in the main gathering areas. We closed up windows and doors but the single small a/c unit did nothing to cool the place down. We were better off with all doors and windows open. Yet still not comfortable. It was just too hot.
Bedrooms for sleeping have their own units so sleeping is fine but you will be very hot during the heat of the day!
After day one the pool fountain/waterfall/feature was shut off permanently. Manager said there was a noise complaint from the water feature being too loud. So we missed out on that fun and ambiance experience the entire rest of the stay. They wouldn’t even let us have it on for a few hours during the middle of the day.
Next, The neighbors, who stayed up til at least 2am, complained about the kids, making appropriate kid noises, swimming in the pool at 9:00am. Managers didn’t ask our side just sent a threatening message about noise ordinance.
Later in the stay the power was shut off. We checked with neighbors, theirs was on. Called the power company snd the owners had not paid the bill. We were on a working vacation, without a/c or internet until the owners were contacted and the bill paid.
Overall, very disappointing for price. I do not think the management team was accommodating, kind, or even cared about customer service. Neighbors clearly do not want a nightly vacation rental and were full of unwarrranted complaints.
