WHERE YOU'LL SLEEP
No need to draw straws for the best bed, because all our mattresses are memory foam ensuring a good night’s sleep for all the rooms!
➺ The master bedroom has a king bed with an attached bathroom featuring both a walk-in shower and an oversized soaking tub.
➺ The two guest rooms each have a queen-sized bed and share a bathroom.
➺ Finally, the game room has a full-size futon and a bean bag that converts into a full-size bed to add extra bedding for the kiddos.
THE OUTSIDE
The outside and surrounding areas of the home are peaceful and serene. The house is located near a lightly used road with very little traffic. The only cabin within view is located a couple of acres away across the street and through the trees. The back deck is private, with no other houses in sight. If you are looking for a quiet retreat to escape to, you’ve found the right place.
Spring and summer are filled with glorious wildflowers and a variety of wildlife. As the season changes into different hues of autumn, the vibrant leaves provide a sense of awe. Followed by winter, this is especially a loved time at our place because of our private hill for sledding in the snow!

The neighborhood is peaceful and private. You will see more nature than people in our area. You get to the property by driving down Purdum rd, a beautiful canopy tree drive featuring forest views. Our home is less than a mile down Purdum if you are coming from 595. We are close enough to Logan for groceries, yet far enough away to feel in the country side. It's just beautiful.

Cell service isn't great, but we do have a booster installed where you should pick up a signal in the living room and front porch. We will provide Wifi details ahead of time as well.

The house was very clean. Just a short drive to all the destinations in Logan. Our 2 year old son loved all the toys available in the house. It is one level with no steps inside. So very safe for small children. There is also a swing set in the backyard which was a nice surprise. We had a great stay.

It was nice to spend time with our adult children and have plenty of room to spread out in this lovely home. We had everything we needed and were close enough to hiking, Jack Pine studio, Antique Mall, and our favorite, miniature golf (near the Antique Mall). Thanks to our host, Sarah!

Arrived at 4:30 and property was still being cleaned, little mix up with cleaning lady (it happens!) Place was pretty clean looked like pictures and we were very impressed. A few dirty dished in cabinets and some things left in dryer probably due to a rush cleaning. Really everything you might need provided as stated in other reviews and the most comfortable beds. Or favorite VRBO thus far. Would stay again.

This was our first stay in hocking hills and it didn’t disappoint! The house was immaculate! Super cozy & kid friendly, our kiddos loved the game room and the hot tub! We had fun exploring the grounds and they loved the little creek along side the house, we ran into some unexpected weather and the host was more than attentive in making sure we were comfortable! Would absolutely go back for another weekend getaway!

We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the home and all of the extra touches to make our stay so easy and perfect. We loved the quite location and the opportunity to get some much needed relaxation with our family.

The property is beautiful, immaculately clean, and extremely well-stocked for guests. The beds are comfortable, the bath towels are luxurious, and there are so many personal touches that make this property truly above and beyond.
Take a note that there is little to no cellular service, but the Wi-Fi is sufficient! We encountered a few hiccups during our stay (which were not the fault of the host) but the communication from the host was very prompt (almost instant) and she made every effort to resolve the issues quickly.
I wish every rental house was this caliber! You will not regret staying here.

Clean, secluded Hocking HIlls house
Great communication from the owner! Nice game room, big living room TV, great hot tub, fire pit, stand-up video game and cornhole are all nice. Front and rear porches are spacious. Kids loved the hammocks on the front porch. Our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 teens) were comfortable, but note that for groups larger than 6 you will need 2 people to make due sleeping on the game room futon or a hideaway mattress. Recommended!

Perfect Family Friendly Stay!
We had the best weekend getaway! The house was perfect for two families and our little ones! The porch, deck and game/play room made it easy to have fun while at the house and Sarah’s recommendations made our adventures out fun and well planned! The house is beautifully decorated and Sarah’s attention to detail plus quick responsiveness made traveling with four kids under two years old a breeze! Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Hocking Hills with their families!

Wonderful!
This house was beautiful and it’s in a great location. It was super clean and obviously well taken care of. We were mostly there to hike in the area and we were close to all the places we wanted to go. It’s also close enough to stores where we could grab some groceries. The house had everything we needed for a family of 6. It was nice to have plenty of dishes and large enough pots and pans to cook meals for our family. There’s plenty of games and movies to enjoy in the evening (or during rain which we had a bit of.) We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed four nights and were so sad by the time we had to leave. The house was so clean, spacious, and each room was super cozy and made us feel at home. The host for the property was helpful with answering any questions we had in a timely manner. We will be sure to visit again!

Mother's Day Weekend was a SUCCESS!
My cousin and I hoped to plan a get-away for our moms who are 75 and 82 respectively. I found this home on VRBO and it did not disappoint. Beautiful home, wonderful scenery, ample space for 5, and so many of the thoughtful amenities that I was suprised to see supplied at no additional cost. I LOVE that the kitchen cabinets were labeled so everything from dinner plates, spices, and cooking pans were easily accessible. Dishwasher and laundry options were appreciated, too. And then there's the HOT TUB! The game room with foosball and a standing Pac-Man video game was a huge hit, too. Soft beds and back deck/front porch access were a welcome bonus , too. We will absolutely return and Sarah was a kind and generous host. Book your getaway today.

Great family spot
The first thing that I thought when I walked in was that it was such a beautiful home. Has a huge amount of amenities that any family would love. The attention to detail was amazing. Communication was also great. We were celebrating a college graduation and we were left with a lovely note and bottle of wine which I thought was so thoughtful. The only problem I had is that I wish I found this sooner.

The four of us loved discovering Meadow Rise! It’s really important to me to feel that a place is well taken care of and clean, and this home did not disappoint. Our two kids (ages four and eight) had so much fun in the game/play room! As did my husband and I, honestly.☺️ It’s obvious that so much attention is given to detail… In the decorations of every room and supplies made available to you at Meadow Rise. The beds are so comfortable! And the backyard feels like a little oasis. We loved traveling to ask Cave and Cedarfalls from here - and appreciated the great suggestion of Le Petit Chevalier winery. We definitely plan to be back!

Spring Break trip
We really enjoyed our trip. The house was well equipped with everything we could need. The game room was a big draw for us because we knew we could expect some cold rainy days. The kids loved the room. It is a true vacation home with many extras to help you relax and enjoy. It was a reasonable drive for hiking the hocking hills area. The neighborhood was quiet. The WiFi held up the entire trip. Cell service at the house is rough, although I didn’t mind! Having a plan to communicate with others via WiFi would be recommended, if you know you’ll need to do this. This is a great place for families. I highly recommend it!

Family celebration
We decided to celebrate Christmas and a 5th birthday while at this property. It ended up being the perfect choice, my children loved all the toys, while adults enjoyed the games. We all had our own spaces to sleep which was wonderful. When we had hiccups, the owner was very quick to respond and so helpful. We are already looking to when we can book again.

Hocking Hills get away
This was a great property to stay at. The home furnishings are fantastic, everything was super clean and meticulously organized. The property manager is very easy to work with. Aside from the 3 bedrooms there is some additional sleeping in the game room, but I would only use that for small kids. however there is plenty of room to set up an air mattress in there or the living room. Would love to stay again!

Stylishly cozy cabin close to the major trails
Just 15 miles from most of the area trails, the cabin was very easy to find, but remote enough to feel like a getaway. It was clean, and well-appointed and had enough entertainment to help a kid while away a rainy day. The finishes were beautifully chosen and comfy AF.

We had an awesome stay in hocking hills. This rental was very clean and comfy, making it feel just like home. We enjoyed the front and the back patios including the hot tub. The location is perfect, very relaxing and quiet. We are already talking about going back to stay again soon! The owners literally thought of everything when supplying this house with the must haves.
