This was an amazing little cabin. We rented it for my husbands 50th birthday. A small gamily get away. We had hope to relax and enjoy our time as a family. Cabin 7 definitely went beyond oir expectations!!! Will definitely stay here again! The view was the best we have had in a long time. Less then 15 ft from the water.

Everything about this property is fun and relaxing that’s if you like the outdoors. You can go fishing go to the beach or just sit by the fire and have a couple of drinks.! a great time for the whole family a little rustic but that’s all good with me. Don’t need high end to have a good time outside and having a roof over your head to sleep at night!!! A must stop place!!

The entire camp shared a single, thinly stretched Wi-Fi line with 7-8 other cabins. I planned to do work over the weekend, but the lack of connectivity made this impossible. The host's proposed solutions of moving closer to the main router (did not work) or visiting the nearest Tim Hortons for connection, were both poor fixes. Wi-Fi extenders were mentioned, but none were set up. The outdated COVID-safe practice of having to bring your own sheets, pillows, and blankets in place is no longer relevant and needs to go. A water-filled cigarette tray with cigarette butts welcomed us on arrival, hinting at a carelessly kept place. Half the outlets in the cabin were broken, bordering on dangerous, one of which blew my phone charger. The tap for filling up water is 6 houses away, requiring a strenuous carry of a 2-3 gallon container, certainly not feasible for all guests. I drove the water back and forth. The kitchen is laughable and not "fully equipped" as advertised. We struggled to cook. Despite there being an oven, there were no oven-safe cookware like baking/cast iron pans, the sole cutting board split into two, barely enough dishes for four people, no proper cutting knives. The BBQ starter was defective and the lighter left over was empty. The lack of exhaust fan led to the smoke detector constantly going off at the slightest bit of cooking. There was no ice maker, blender, coffee grinder, or kitchen island, despite these being list.

The cottage was very tidy and well set up. Cottage number seven especially is nicely set apart from the other cabins with a bit more privacy. We loved the giant window facing the lake — great for watching a storm roll in over the lake and for watching wildlife! The cottage had everything we needed and our dog had the time of her life romping in the water. Also can’t beat reading by the fire next to a lake in the evening. We would definitely stay again.

We travelled in a group of 4, including our dog, my spouse, cousin and I. The property is far from the hustle bustle of the city, very nice view and it’s right on the lake. The property managers- Kevin and Kristy are very warm and welcoming and our vacation was wonderful. Please carry- a portable light(the lighting outside the cottage could have been better), bedsheets, mosquito repellent/bug spray. Also, these cabins aren’t equipped with washrooms and running water, there’s a property which is just foot steps away that we can get water(they’ve provided a small tanker in each cottage) from and have common washrooms.
