About this house rental
A new construction whole house rental with four bedrooms each having its own private bathroom with shower. Everything is brand new from the furnishings , decorations, to the appliances. In a quiet neighborhood approximately one mile from downtown. Have a larger party rent the property next door and enjoy the amenities of both places. A security device covers the parking area and yes, the trolley will pick you up out front. If you want something that’s clean and new, this is for you. Just opened October 2021

The place was perfect. Loved the fact that everyone had their own bathroom. The fire pit was a great bonus. We enjoyed sitting outside. We definitely will stay again!

For a group of 8 (4 couples), this property was absolutely perfect! Had tons of fun in Hermann!

As listed. Perfect place for couples to enjoy time away. Clean and well stocked. Each room was exactly the same allowing all couples to feel equally accommodated. The second smaller house on the property (separate rental that wasn't in our rental/party) is very close but this wasn't an issue for us. We were able to enjoy ourselves and I believe the other rental did too. Ample seating inside and out for all 8 in our party. We paid to use trolley Saturday, but drove ourselves Friday and Saturday. Every establishment we went to seemed to be pretty close to the house, so driving wouldn't have been horrible. We had 3 vehicles and the other rental had 1 and there was still more off street parking at the rental.

Very nice, clean, and cozy! We enjoyed the ability to relax in the living room together, as well as the kitchen. We were even able to enjoy the outdoor fire pit. Great atmosphere!

Four family members, including two couples and one older person with mobility difficulties enjoyed this wonderful home. It had everything we could have ever needed. The owner is very thoughtful about their guests. The house is beautiful and cozy. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Perfect location. Super clean. Great design. Plenty of parking. Most of all the owner is super easy to work with and the booking and follow up was flawless. We will definitely recommend Wine Down to anyone and everyone looking to stay in Hermann.

We had 8 mommas spend the weekend and it was perfect!! Incredibly clean! Plenty of space; loved having the master suites each with their own bathroom. Cute, cozy and convenient. Loved it; will share and be back!

This VRBO was beyond what the pictures portrayed . . . the property was absolutely fantastic and exceeded our expectations! The attention to the wine detail . . . wine pictures, wine trash can made from a whiskey barrel, grape decor . . . throughout the house were just what we needed to get into the perfect wine tasting fall weekend mode that we had been looking forward to for months. The bedrooms with full baths and very comfortable beds were all the same so there wasn’t that one couple that had to get stuck with the ‘kids’ room. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything one would need for a weekend stay. Everything inside and outside was immaculate and it was evident the owners put a great deal of effort into maintaining a pristine environment. The property was outside of the noisy downtown Hermann area but close enough that the local taxi services were only minutes away when we needed them. The property owners put a lot of effort into making this a welcoming and comfortable property and we highly recommend it. Really a top-notch experience and house!

Our group of 6 friends take an annual girls' trip. We all agree that this home is our favorite. It was wonderful to have four identical master bedrooms, each with a king bed and private en suite bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped, although we didn't really cook. The two couches allowed for plenty of seating for conversation or TV viewing. We especially enjoyed the patio for morning coffee and breakfast. Absolutely lovely!

We stayed during the Wurstfest. Great location and quiet neighborhood. We celebrated my father's 90th birthday and each of us 4 couples had a king bed with our own private bathroom. Washer & Dryer available with a 1/2 bath. It was also decorated with the wine theme that was just fun. The owner was extremely responsive.
The yard also has an electric fire pit that we did not have the opportunity to use due to weather, but we hope to try to stay there again.

Perfect for our girls trip to Hermann! Very convenient and close to everything. Beautiful property with every comfort of home. Slept better in the bed than I do my own! Love the floorplan with the living room and kitchen in the middle and the bedrooms and bathrooms on either side. Gave us privacy while still feeling the closeness of being together. Can't say enough good things, would love to stay here again!

Our stay was fantastic - great accommodations for all four couples! Beds were comfortable and private bathrooms for everyone is a unique find. We ate quite a few of our meals at the house and the kitchen was very well stocked with all the necessities and we enjoyed gathering on the front porch. Location was quiet and close to downtown and several wineries. Bart's timely response to our questions was much appreciated. Would highly recommend!

I don't think I can give a more positive review! This house is PERFECT and well appointed for guests! The trolley was able to pick us up and drop us back right at the house. Everything is adorable and SUPER clean. The outdoor sitting area/grill was great for the evening our group stayed in. Parking was fantastic and I felt like the check out rules weren't difficult to follow (I've had some stays that were difficult, these were straightforward and easy to do)! Thank you and we will for sure be back if we are in the area again!

Great place for our annual first cousins trip with 8 females! We all loved the fact all the beds were King size, and each bedroom had their own bathroom, dresser, side tables with lamps and USB ports. The showers were a little small but had great water pressure. Quiet and convenient location in Hermann. The house was very clean. Agree with prior comment that porch steps blends in with sidewalk & could be hard to see for some people. There are no closets in the bedrooms. Only hooks on the walls. I was glad I had brought hangars & used them on the hooks since I have encountered this issue before. Would have liked if some of the counter stools had chair backs on them. The owner always responded very quickly if we had any questions. We all really liked the house and several in our group look forward to returning to this property & bringing other friends!

This property worked great for our multi generational group of 8 for a family girls trip to Hermann. Very clean, comfortable seating, good size well stocked kitchen, plenty of off street parking. Very handy having a bathroom for each bedroom. Something to be aware of is there are no closets, so no hangers etc. There are hooks on the wall, but if you want to have a hanger, bring your own. There was a nice sitting area outside the front door. The Hermann trolly picked us up at the end of the driveway and dropped us back at the end of the day. Overall we loved the house.

Outstanding Weekend!
This place is amazing! There were 4 couples, everyone had their own space but yet also had a great place to hang out in the middle of the house. The patio in front was perfect. It was such a great weekend. The owner responded very quickly to answer my question. It was about a grill which we didn’t have time to use but he went above and beyond. At the time he responded they didn’t have one and then before we went he responded back and had gotten one. The property was clean and had everything we needed, kitchen will equipped. I would highly recommend this property. We would definitely stay here again.

There were 3 couples in our party. We arrived, opened the door and were very pleased with everything about the house! The accommodations were perfect! Water in the fridge, coffee service, fully stocked kitchen, beds were very comfortable, even the bath tissue was “nice”!!!!
Each couple appreciated our in suite bath. Perfect gathering place in the common area. The tables outside were very nice, the weather was perfect in the evenings, so we were able to utilize them.
One suggestion that we would like to make…maybe a fire pit?
We thought the 10:00 a.m. checkout was a bit early.
All in all, the “Wine-down cottage” was perfect! We will be return “residents”!!!
