This beautiful resort features New England shingle architecture making it a perfect fit among Newport's abundance of historic Colonial homes and 19th-century mansions. The historic mansions of the Newport Gilded Age are open for tours and offer a unique glimpse into the family homes of the Astors, Vanderbilts, and other prominent families of the era. Guests can also enjoy boating, fishing, sailing the Narragansett Bay, croquet on the lawn, a cookout at the resort's barbecue pavilion, or walk across the street to the Newport Fisherman's Wharf. At Club Wyndham Long Wharf, these spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom resort suites comfortably sleep four to eight guests and range from 403 to 1,075 square feet. Suites feature various bedding in the master and guest rooms, with each offering a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. You will appreciate the privacy of separate bedrooms, the economy of a kitchenette or full kitchen. Plus, washer/dryer in some suites with laundry facilities available onsite for those without. With TVs throughout, most suites offer separate living/dining areas, and some have multi-level floor plans with stairs. Just down the street, experience seaside shopping, dining and entertainment on Thames Street, or catch a charter boat out of the Newport Harbor. Enjoy shopping at the Brick Market Place, or New England heritage at the Museum of Newport History. Ghost tours are also available. Guests will certainly travel with ease as the T.F. Green Airport is a short 40 minute drive away. There really is something for everyone at Club Wyndham Long Wharf. Kick back in the lush indoor swimming pool with soothing hot tub, or sunbathe next to the outdoor swimming pool. The resort's private surround-sound movie theater is the place to catch a flick. Keep up your workout routine at the fitness center and enjoy some family fun in the game room. The laundry facilities at Club Wyndham Long Wharf offer guests the opportunity to pack light and miss out on those added airport baggage fees. Items to note: * Our Pools and hot tubs will be closed from March 8th , 2024, until July 28th , 2024, for renovation. We are also doing an exterior renovation for our Main building at the Long Wharf resort. The bed sizes/layout can vary within this unit style. If you need a certain bed layout, please let us know. * Resort amenities are available, except where prohibited by state or local mandate. Please note: Kids Clubs are temporarily closed. * Complimentary parking provided for one vehicle per suite * This is a non-smoking resort * Some two-bedroom and three-bedroom suites have multi-level floor plans with stairs. We come to RI every Thanksgiving to see family and for a few years we’re at another Wyndham in Jamestown. That was a great spot, but with two little kids this Newport location was perfect! The amenities and location are the best and we can’t wait to come back next year!!! The pool is awesome but could use some updating as far as paint and the ground inside is small pebbles that stick to your feet and get into the pool. But the water and ability to swim in and out was so fun! The staff was also top notch!

The property was a standard condo accommodation. Confusion existed with this rental as I initially booked through VRBO but the final payment charge to my credit card came from Koala Vacations. When my credit card asked if this was a legitimate charge, I did not recognize the name (Koala Vacations) and so denied the charge. The representatives from Koala were quite inconsiderate with their request for me to remove the denial from my bank. They threatened to cancel my reservation the day before arrival unless I cleared the fraud charge from my account, which already had been done by the way, and insisted on a written confirmation from the bank that the dispute had been cleared. I was not happy with the harassment from customer service at Koala Vacations and will not do business with them and probably VRBO again. As a suggestion, perhaps you should make it clear to renters of the relationship between VRBO and Koala Vacations.

This property is in a fantastic location, walkable to downtown Newport. The amenities were great. Having a free washer and dryer was essential for our family that included two toddlers.

I was extremely impressed by the pristine appearance of the rooms, bathroom and kitchen. The carpet and all was looking brand new compared to the outside wall of the building. I will be back again for sure

We really enjoyed our stay. It was extremely family friendly and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare meals in your hotel room. Really great place and location! Staff was warm and welcoming. We would definitely go back.

This place was perfect for me & 3 friends. Once I figured out emails from Koala were related to this rental, and once I figured out you have to request housekeeping if you need new towels or anything, it was great! Easy walking distance to exciting we we wanted to do in Newport.

The Wyndham Long Shore is a nice Newport, RI property. The positives are nice 2 bed 2 bathroom condo. Negatives because of Covid need to text for extra towels, toilet paper, etc. it took 2 texts and over two hours to get the requested items. To put it nicely, there was undigested food in a couple of places in the paper lot behind cars that was there for my entire stay.

Everything we needed was there except food ha ha. All the personnel that we encountered were knowledgeable and courteous. I do believe our condo could not have been any cleaner! Beds very comfortable lots of nice fluffy pillows. Very happy with our stay will certainly consider returning to this venue.
