This place was amazing. Its in the north shore so it's far from the busy beaches that are around Oahu. The house is located minutes away from a secluded beach. She provides paddle boards, beach towels, floaties, and wagons to haul it to and from. If you're a foodie then you have the world famous Giovanni's shrimp truck, The Bald Guys, and Kalbi on fire are really close by. The house has a private driveway gate so your cars are secure at night. This place is as advertised. She really goes out of her way to make sure you have a great time. Would definitely recommend this place.

Nice clean well stocked house w/more than enough space for our party of 10. Bria was helpful and responsive. Access to the beach and food spots on the north shore was great!

The property had many accessories and made for a comfortable stay for the family. Barring some appliances that were not working, it was enjoyable. On site support staff came to try to remedy the situation. If your family will stay at the house, it will be a wonderful vacation spot. Subscription services are included on the tv. My family wanted to fish so it was a little aways from the beach; needed to walk carrying our fishing gear. Wish beach was closer. Couldn't cross the golf course which is in front of the house. All in all a fun weekend getaway.

This home was as nice as it was in the photos. We had a group of 12 and fit comfortably. The home was clean and well organized. The neighborhood was quiet & within walking distance of the beach, small convenience store & several really good food trucks. Highly recommended!

Great house!! Right off the golf course. Just a short walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Perfect.
House was spotless and very comfortable. And the beach toys were a lot of fun.

This house was perfect for our group of 14, 8 adults and 6 children ages 12 and under. Close to food trucks, grocery stores, the Polynesian center, and shops. Easy access to other parts of the island. We did a day of beach hopping, visited 3 or 4 beaches in one day. The private beach close to the house, had a seal on the beach, our grandchildren thought that was awesome. be careful of the jellyfish, we had 3 littles get stung the first day.
Our grandkids were able to run around outside with the fully fenced yard with no worries.
We only had to communicate with the host once, and they responded quickly.
Make sure you wake up early to watch the beautiful sunrise. Perfect view sitting on the deck.

We booked this house because it was supposed to be on the beach. It was not it was on a golf course with a substantial walk to the beach. The house had 3 air conditioning units which required buckets to drain. They were not connected so we came home to over flowing buckets of water. All garbage pails were completely full when we arrived. We could not open car gate when we arrived so I called the house manager and never received a call back. For the price charged I would not recommend.

We had a large family group of 10 people. This house was perfect for that many people. There was outdoor and common area seating enough for all of us to gather, share meals and decompress after the day's activities. We loved the large refrigerator and stocked kitchen, many condiments and seasonings were available. We used all of the dishware and cutlery in our meal planning. I think the best part about this house was the small labels on things that helped us know how to use the house most effectively. The tip about closing the windows for rain water, and where to put things away in the kitchen just made our stay so easy. Thank you for the helpful labels and for the many instructions around the home. Our stay was carefree and easy because we chose this house. We all enjoyed the accommodations! Highly recommend!

Everything was amazing close to the beach and private. Home was exactly as expected, private yet comfortable for a large family.

This place is the best you can get for a large group in Oahu! The host is so nice and helpful as well

Wonderful house away from the traffic, but still a short drive to everything on the North Shore. There were 14 of us, so we used every part of the house. Plenty of room for us. Nice walk to food trucks and short drive to Foodland. Definitely would stay again. Best Wishes to the owners and there little one!

We brought our 3 adult children with their spouses and children for a total party of 13. The accommodations were perfect and the location couldn't have been better. There was plenty of room and the house was perfect for our family gathering. We went on walks at night in this secluded neighborhood at to the nearby beach. The listing is 100% accurate and we will be coming back again!

This house was so nice and perfectly nestled in a small community on North Shore! It was clean, well stocked with appliances, cooking utensils, spices, towels, etc. We had 8 adults and 5 young kids - it was perfect. Getting to the beach was easy and having the beach mostly to ourselves was amazing. We were in walking distance to a zip line adventure and the Seven Brothers around the corner served up delicious banana bread (we brought two loaves home) and one of the best burgers I've ever had. I love burgers! Our host was responsive and kind. I would definitely stay here again.

We were locked of our unit upon arrival and our multiple attempts to contact our “caretaker” were ignored. We were left on our own for two hours with Zabrina trying to help us from California. The care we did not receive negated the beauty of our surroundings. We still have not received any correspondence from you other an automatic email stating we would be fined if we didn’t take the
garbage out today ( two days after our rental ended and we checked out). We would appreciate acknowledgement of our poor treatment. We left the unit spotless but we were put in an unsafe situation with literally no other options for accommodations other than sleeping in our car. The hotels and rental units on the north shore were all booked. We would be happy to let you know how we finally gained entrance if you want to discuss this with us. Any contact with you at Hostably/VRBO would be appreciated. We have rented through VRBO for many years and have never been treated like this and have never left a negative review.

What a fabulous home, location, and overall experience. Our entire family came for our youngest child’s graduation from U of H. From grand kids, to their parents, and us (grand parents), we all loved this home. The private beach is only a 3 minute walk and it’s one of the best beaches we’ve seen and we’ve been to many in Oahu. It was great for everyone from 2 to 70+. Local shopping and amenities were a short ride away, and so was Turtle Bay. What a relaxing shift from over developed Honolulu. Our host, Bria is amazing too. So helpful and responsive, she made our stay perfect. We would absolutely go back and highly recommend renting this lovely home.

We were a family of 12 and this place was amazing. There are always a few things that didn’t work like a few of the fans and ac units but we found with the windows open we didn’t really need them.
It was exactly as advertised and couldn’t have asked for anything more. Definitely would recommend and stay here again.

Our group of 6 adults and 6 small children had the most amazing week here! We loved how easily we could access other parts of the island from this location. The house was set up perfectly for our group. Being so close to the food trucks was amazing. The communication with the host was excellent. This was our first time to Hawaii for many in our group, and the accommodations were exactly what we needed. We will be back!

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, fully fenced for added security. The manager was great at answering my questions, very helpful. It was a great experience and we loved all of the water toys, and chairs and wagons to go spend the day at the beach! It housed our family perfectly.

Plenty of space, 2 washers and dryers. Large garage, all the beach gear is provided.

We had a lovely stay with our family of 10. The close by beach (5 minute drive, or less) is beautiful.
House is equipped with everything you could need.

Me and the wife had been wanting to stay on the north shore for a long time and this was the perfect place to do so...very close to turtle beach and the Polynesian cultural center. Very quiet and secluded but still close enough to enjoy the whole island
5.0
Nicely kept house on Oahu’s north shore. We had plenty of room for all 12 guests, with room to spare. We did wish the beach was a little closer, but it wasn’t an issue to walk for most of our group. A view of the golf course with beautiful sunsets was still a perfect sight for us.
5.0
We booked the house for our family to stay for our daughters wedding at Turtle Bay. The house easily accommodated all of our family nicely. There were plenty of towels and beach accessories. Very close walk to the beach, golf and food trucks. Would definitely recommend
5.0
The house was marvelous with all its amenities and closeness to the beach.
The host was attentive, courteous and very responsive.
Some minor maintenance is needed from towel racks missing or loose to window curtain hooks being loose.
A minor inconvenience with the downstairs plumbing however the host was able to rectify the maintenance needed and in the same day.
The family would definitely recommend this place to others for vacation.

Our family of 13 stayed ar Secluded Sands for a week, loved every minute of it. We were in Hawaii to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. The house was great, enough space for all of us. More than enough gear to go to the beach that was basically a private one for all of the kids. We cooked almost everyday minus 1 or 2. We had everything we needed. The location was great in Kahuku, the drive to places was great. Not too long in the car to get to the many adventures near there - Kualoa Ranch, Shark's Cove, Gunstock Ranch to name a few. If we go back to Oahu, we will definitely stay here again! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

This home far exceeded our expectations. It’s in a private, safe neighborhood. The owners have taken extra care to make sure you feel safe by providing locked gates and security around the home. The cleanliness was excellent.. communication with Bria was efficient and easy as well. There was alot of space for our kids- they even had fun toys for them- extra bonus! This house by far has the best amenities of any home we’ve rented- plenty of dishes for cooking and eating, extra blankets, 2 washers and dryers. Everything was also conveniently labeled, which we found very helpful. Tons of beach toys, towels and chairs in the garage for renter use. We are absolutely planning to stay here again!

Decent location on the north shore, great deal for 5 bedrooms. Host was excellent with communication, house is well equipped.

Property was very clean and well-equipped. More than enough room for our extended family (8 people, including two kids). The nearest beach wasn't great for swimming, but just right for a morning stroll. Malaekahana Beach nearby was wonderful. Food trucks a short walk or even shorter drive away. Great vacation spot!

If you’re looking for the north shore experience where you have the beach all to yourselves, this is the place to stay!

We (10 extended family members) stayed here the last week of March. Perfect layout: upstairs there are three bedrooms (K, Q, bunks). Downstairs there are two bedrooms (Q, 3 twins) plus the couch. The kitchen and living room were bigger than expected from the pictures. The table easily fit ten. There was plenty of space on the balcony and the kids played in the large yard. The house is very well equipped, more so than most rentals. We had everything we needed in the kitchen including containers for leftovers, food wrap, food basics and many appliances. There are two washers and dryers which are modern and worked well. The house has a ton of outdoor equipment. Among other things, there are wagons, lots of boogie boards, two paddle boards, chairs, snorkel gear, sand toys and a lot of beach towels. Everything was extremely clean and in good repair. Between the AC and opening windows, we had no issues with the heat.
The location is great. The house is in a very quiet residential neighborhood. All we heard was the ocean and the birds. It felt very safe. It took about an hour from the airport (in the evening - no traffic). It’s about a 6 minute drive to the closest grocery store or a ten minute walk to a large convenience store. The food truck/shops (great place to eat!) are about a 15 minute walk. The Polynesian Cultural Center is a ten minute drive. The local beach (always empty) was about a five minute walk down the street, then a couple of minutes through the treed path. While we were there we found the water too rough to go in but enjoyed walking, the crabs, watching the sun rise and even saw sea turtles. We also walked to the campground beach (15 minutes) which was better for swimming and boogie boarding. We swam at Kawela Bay (10 min drive, pretty, no waves) and Kahana Bay (about 20 min drive) which was our favourite boogie boarding spot as it is shallow a long way out. There were lots of beach options on the north shore but parking was challenging. Snorkelling was great at Shark’s Cove (watch for sharp rocks - 20 min from the house but traffic varied a lot along the north shore). We walked to the local church (very welcoming, 5 minutes) and Climbworks zip lines (12 min - highly recommend!). We also did the Nutridge Luau (fabulous) which was about an hour and twenty min drive.
We had a fabulous week and would definitely stay here again. Bria was very quick to respond to all questions.

Amazing Place. As a group of golf enthusiasts, it was a privilege to watch golfers every morning while eating breakfast. Also the coffee maker was the best I've ever used and I plan to buy the same one for my home. If I have another opportunity to stay in Oahu, I will not hesitate to stay again.

We had the most amazing vacation here! The private beach was a dream come true and the golf course views were simply breathtaking. It was spacious and well-equipped with all the essentials, making it the perfect home away from home. Thank you to our gracious host for facilitating a memorable stay for our group!

This was a thoroughly enjoyable stay for me and our family. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a pretty, quiet, lovely and generously appointed house in a peaceful area. Away from the tourist hordes and next to several gorgeous beaches, it's uniquely situated where you can get the best of either the East Coast or the West Coast weather. Great communication by our host helped as well, thorough local information was provided and we wanted for nothing. We'll be back Kahuku! 😁🤙

We had a large group of friends and family and this beach house was the perfect fit. Everyone had enough space to relax and feel comfortable. The outdoor hot showers were a game changer, especially after a long day at the beach. While we don't come to Hawaii to hang out indoors, it was especially nice to have board games to play together in the evening. There were many streaming options to choose from for movie nights together (netflix, prime, disney, hulu, etc). Since there were two big tv's in two living rooms, we were able to divide groups based on movie preferences. But truly, the best part was the location immediately outside of the house. Even if we didn't go anywhere else on the island, we would've felt fulfilled with what we were able to access within walking distance. So if you're trying to decide between places to stay, you cannot go wrong with this one!

Our host was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We stayed in a great location, close to popular attractions like Turtle Bay and Sunset beach. We also loved all the free beach and sport accessories that were provided, including paddle boards and snorkel gear. Highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a truly unforgettable vacation!

Everything as advertised. Clean. Walkable to a big unpopulated beach. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Beautiful beach house, just steps from the beach. Clean, well organized, easy access, awesome views, and great hosts with local knowledge of a variety of things to do during your stay. Close to many nice beaches, restaurants/food trucks, hikes, snorkeling, paddle boarding, zipline adventure, horseback riding, golf, etc. Polynesian Cultural Center is nearby as well. We filled our time with activities that were all within just 20 minutes of this prime location.

First of all, the beds were so comfortable! I actually asked the host where they got their mattress because, for the first time in YEARS, my back pain in the morning completely went away. I need that same mattress at home! They offered the most generous supply of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel of any place I've ever stayed. They also made sure that there's a lot of supply of laundry soap, dishwashing soap, garbage bags, paper towel, toilet paper, etc. And of course, the view and it's nearness to the beach! That was magnificent! They have a complete supply of beach wagons, beach chairs, Boogie boards, toys, and lots of beach towels! We enjoyed the beach so much! The kitchen was fully equipped too, and they have a beautiful BBQ grill. We did a lot of cooking. The view from deck was just beautiful all day long, especially during sunset, so mesmerizing! We would surely come back if given the chance!
