Very good

Wonderful property and spacious apartments. The owners are attentive to the environvement.

The location is a little outside the center; the car is strongly reccomended to go to the beach (the 15-20 min way back on the hill can be tough). The "private parking" inside the villa is actually only two-three spots; when they are taken, the alternative is the free parking on the street outside the villa.

Fantastic, long awaited holidays in one of Sicily’s pearls.

As a family of 5 we had a great time in a comfy, clean and well furnished apartment upstairs, fronting a garden. In the garden there’s a small fountain and a mini-farm/zoo with turtles, chicken and rabbits giving your smaller kids some new things to see. Our host was friendly and hospitable. Overall - we enjoyed our stay a lot and would love to come back one day.

i absolutely loved our stay and recommend this wonderful apartment. 10/10

The location was walkable but still allowed us to park a rental car. Eva the dog was a wonderful host and barked welcomes at us as she asked for pets.

I didn’t see it in the booking, but there is an additional charge for electric use and you have to supply your own energy pellets for heating, but still felt it was a 10/10 stay and an excellent value.

Beautiful apartment with amazing garden!

This villa is stunning in itself. The garden is amazing. Plus all the animals!

Hidden fees. Paying extra for electricity. We were told about it only after we’ve booked already. Feel like it should be included in the price. We only used electricity for hot showers and cooking and we had to pay 8EUR for 3 nights

Comfortable, spacious room and a fun stay. Excellent host.

We had a great stay at Villa Catarina. Ivana was great and made sure we had the information we needed. Responded quickly if we had any questions. She gave us a tour of the gardens and let us help ourselves to anything we needed. The room was very big and comfortable. Well-equipped with what we needed. The tortoise and rabbits were super cute!!

The AC unit took a while to cool down such a big room. Once it got going it was ok.

The apartment was spacious and the bed was comfy. And it was nice to use the shared BBQ and the garden with the fresh herbs and all.

The basic (kitchen) accessories weren't complete, the shower is too small for the shower head and there's lot's of noisy traffic closeby, so bring your earplugs.

Location, beautiful setting and gardens, very good and spacious flat

The website description is not quite accurate, eg slippers (where?), toiletries scant to say the least, just enough for 1 shower, and one vial of body lotion half used. Better remove this from description. Great to have a washing machine, but a limited amount of laundry detergent is expected (bringing our own on the plane?). Great to have an iron, but where is the ironing board? Also the flat must be perfect in the summer, but in a cold period (as we've had), paying extra for electricity to use the air conditioning was expensive. It would also have been useful to find more basic supplies on arrival: milk, etc. at least for the first breakfast. It would also have been nice to be able to access Internet TV (Netflix etc.) on the television.

The apartments were beautiful, there were things that were a bit worn out, but it didn't bother me because the overall atmosphere was very nice. The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean and fragrant. Netflix was highly regarded by children. There were poultry, rabbits, cats and a dog in the yard. The dog was looked after by the owners, so there were no unpleasant incidents. The yard was beautiful and looked to be taken care of. The villa is a short walk from all tourist attractions.

Exceptional

Our entire stay in Cefalu was beautiful from the second we got off at the station and the moment we were greeted at Villa Catarina by our host. The Villa was amazing with so much space having a range of incredibly friendly animals including chickens from which you could get some eggs from and fig trees in the surrounding spaces. The location was perfect being a ten minute walk to the centre of Cefalù town and to the beach. Our hosts were very welcoming and understanding, showing us all the best spots for food and drinks in the town and for the price in comparison to other hotels and stays we couldn’t believe the value.

There isn’t anything I could say bad about this stay other than the fact that it is located on a hill which if you’re there during intense heat can be quite a task to get up but it also provides for beautiful scenery being higher up.

Best place to stay in Cefalu

Location was great (a bit on a hill so be prepared for a short exercising walk). The apartment we rented was huge; 2 bedrooms, big kitchen equipped with anything you may need, 2 terraces - with beautiful view The host was extremely nice and gave us tips about the area. In terms of value for money, I don’t think you can find a better one in Cefalu. Also the beach front with all restaurants and beaches is within walking distance Totally recommend the place!
