Make some memories at this lake front paradise! Beautifully updated home sits on peninsula with 150’ of open water. Enjoy brand new 1,000 square ft boat dock with swimming platform, rope swing and party deck. Lake toys (kayaks, paddle boards, lily pad, and more!) included with your stay. Large lawn for you to enjoy lawn games (corn hole, super size jenga, etc…). Enjoy the sunset and s’mores around the firepit. Green light insures abundant fishing for the fishermen in your party.

So much to do at the house that you never need to leave. The kids wanted to stay outside the whole time either fishing or playing on the water (rope swing, lake mat, kayaks). The house has everything you can think of. The hosts were super friendly checking in to make sure we were enjoying our stay which of course we were. The location on the lake and the dock were perfect.

We had the most fun at this beautiful house! It’s the perfect place for an active group. We celebrated our friend’s 40th with the best views, late night talks on the lit up top deck, kayaking and paddle board excursions, sunbathing on the lily pad and grilling out. I would recommend this home to any group of friends or family looking to make the most of a lake vacation.

This is a great home right on the lake! My family really enjoyed the place! Home is super clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our favorite part was the fishing. We caught tons of catfish and some white bass everyday! At night you can see the alligator gar swimming under the light. We really enjoyed it and even caught one on our last night with the help of a friendly neighbor. Lots of fun toys to enjoy the lake ans well. Owners are great to work with and quick to respond to any message. I would highly recommend this place!

We come to Texas every summer to spend time with our family. We rented this home for the convenience of the lake. It was perfect, the provided lake games and floaties were perfect for all day entertainment. The dock was amazing and made it easy for our family to bring their boats over for the weekend. The owners had great communication which made the stay even better. 5 star.

The owners of this property are amazing to work with. This home was very cozy and clean. The beds were very comfortable with such soft sheets! Everything that was needed was at the house. They had coffee, trash bags, foil, grill with propane, baggies. AC is very cold and works great. The back porch has seating where we enjoyed our morning coffee. The dock was amazing and a fun highlight everyday. It included lots of fun water toys! I would definitely stay here again!!

Cedar Creek never disappoints! This house is exactly as represented on the website….very comfortable beds, indoor games and even ping pong table set up in carport! Outdoor activities include kayaks, paddle boards, and everyone’s favorite, lily pad. The dock has a rope swing, and stairs to enter the water. It is well lit for nighttime fishing. We had a great time and thank our hosts for being very attentive. We plan to return and do a repeat!!

Really nifty lakefront property in Gun Barrel City. The dock and kayaks are great for relaxing along the shore. Fishing is almost too easy from the dock. Sunsets are beautiful here, every clear evening was spectacular. Fun for bird watching also, our teen naturalist enjoyed watching the eagles daily. Nice kitchen and easy trips for groceries if you like to cook. Host is very helpful, easy check in and out.

We stayed at this amazing property during the thanksgiving stay. We were 15 people with adults and kids. The lakeside views are amazing and looks amazing. We spent time kayaking and paddle boating with all the boats and accessories nicely arranged in the backyard storage. The house was very spacious and the kids bunk bed room was perfect with lots of room. There were a lot of games and ping-pong to keep everyone entertained.
Andy and Sharon were perfect hosts and were very responsive and nice. They checked in with us after we checked in and were available over phone/message for any of our needs.
We really enjoyed the place and hope to go back during the spring.

Great house and beautiful location on the lake. We were a group of ladies going to Canton 1st Monday. Easy 30 minute drive into Canton. We loved all being together and staying here instead of a hotel. I definitely want to come back to this home during the summer to fully enjoy the lake and beautiful sunsets!

Excellent Spot on the lake
The perfect spot that is conveniently minutes away from restaurants and Walmart, but secluded enough for peace and quiet. It was well equipped with everything we could have needed. Beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable, and stocked with all the amenities you could ask for. But what we enjoyed the most was the position on the lake, the double deck dock and all the lake toys that were provided. So much fun.. A trip to remember for sure. We will be back and share with our friends.

What an oasis!
What an amazing property! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. From the top-notch amenities (excellent two-story dock with lots of seating, multiple kayaks and paddle boards, board games and ping pong for downtime, etc.) to the stocked resources (everything from coffee and paper towels to laundry detergent and air freshener), it was so easy to have a great time at this location! Loved doing smores around the fire pit!
We encountered a small problem with a toilet, but the owners were very quick to respond, having a plumber there to fix the issue immediately. So lovely to work with folks who are available to help when you need them.
We had a large crew - three families of four - and found it easy to sleep everyone - even had a sleeper in the sofa had we needed it.

This was by far one of the best rentals we have been to. My family absolutely enjoyed the dock and the water toys. They caught so many fish, it was great to see my kids wake up early (4-5am) and head out for more fishing.

Great lake house!
This is one of the best lake houses we have stayed in. Great location and the views of the lake are amazing! The boat ramp is close, which is definitely a plus! The house was very clean, well stocked and spacious. Thank you for having the lily pad, paddle boards and other lake equipment available for us to use! The kids enjoyed it all! The dock is great!! We fished off the dock and caught catfish. We truly had an amazing and relaxing time at this house!

We had a super time. We brought some graduating seniors for a last getaway weekend before They go their separate ways. There was plenty of space for games and sleeping (or lack thereof). Comfortable and Well-stocked
This is our second stay within a six month time frame. The house is great for a large group with plenty of sleeping areas. The owners keep the property well maintained and well stocked with supplies to treat yourself to coffee and plenty of towels for everyone. We love staying here for Canton First Monday Trade Days and we also like enjoying the lake. This house is becoming a favorite of ours and we can’t wait to come back to the area.

Location was the best on the lake that we saw. The dock was incredible... so clean, new, and in pristine condition. Furniture in the house is very comfortable. The kids loved the bunk room. We really appreciated having the Kayaks and the paddle boards there for our use. Great stay...we hope to go back soon!

Wonderfully Welcoming
One of the best experiences renting a VRBO vacation home. The house was well stocked with everything from coffee and creamer to lots of sheets, towels, blankets and pillows. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty for our large group. The outdoor areas were nice and the new pier was great to watch the beautiful sunset over the water. The hosts were friendly and concerned that we had a good stay at their home. We picked this place to stay for visiting Canton Trade Days and it was an easy 30 minute drive. After a long day in Canton, we enjoyed the fast internet and high quality televisions to watch movies. We really enjoyed staying at this house and would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic time at this house! I don't know where to start? The kyacks, the paddleboards and lily pad were so much fun, thank you for providing them! The house is decorated so cute! The owners have thought of everything! Lots of towels, tons of pillows, even creamer for my coffee and tide pods so we could do a load of laundry. We truly had an amazing and RELAXING weekend. The house came with many extras you don't usually see: coffee pods, diswasher tabs, laundry tabs, beach towels, soap, shampoo, paper towels, trash bags, even beach towels.....A really nice touch. The beds were comfy, with tons of extra blankets, pillows.... The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to easily prepare and all in the the house. The real surprise was the amount of toys in the shed. The lily pad was the kids favorite. In addition, there are kayaks, stand-up boards, floats. I was amazed to see someone who understands what hospitality really means. The owners more than accommodate every need, everything was clean, and the bedding and towels looked brand new. We watched beautiful sunsets, most of the kids caught a catfish, and enjoyed the water all day long. This was a break we really needed from remodeling after the winter freeze flooded my daughter's home. The only thing I would suggest to improve would be a shade canopy by the lake, fly control, and a better way to get out of the water. It was quite deep for the younger kids (ages 12, 11, 10, 8, 7) and they scraped themselves up trying to get out on the cement, which they preferred as the bottom step on the dock ladder was too high for them. These are small things compared to the condition of the house and amenities provided. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

We booked this rental for a last minute trip with our teens. Our goals were to be close to the DFW area, on the water with easy access to our jet ski, a comfortable house for all 5 of us, with enough to do to keep us busy. This property had 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, a huge lily pad, and a cornhole set; all were great for our family. This rental includes lots to do. I didn’t want to have to go elsewhere to rent kayaks, etc, so this played a big part in our booking. The dining room faces a bank of windows so you can easily watch from the patio or dining room if kids are playing on the lake. Cedar Creek is mostly a commuter lake so our stay over into weekdays left us with almost no one else on the water; big pro. The boat ramp is close by; another pro. We rented a boat one day and it was only about a 20 minute drive to that. The house worked well for all of us; we could have slept at least 3 more people easily. The living room is super cozy and the dining room is perfect for games. The seating area could use a few more soft chairs tucked into corners for movie watching; 5 folks was the perfect amount to be on the couches as it was so we were good.There isn’t much to the neighborhood and town which we already knew. (The Walmart is super close so easy to pick up groceries on the way in.) Book here for fun times on the lake with family or friends, not for heading in to town.
