This is where the fun begins! This chalet is located in the Hideout community, within walking distance to restaurants. Our amenities include a hot tub for five people, outdoor sauna for four, firepit with adirondack chairs, grill, lower level game room ping pong, arcade, many board games and corn hole in the backyard. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pan, coffee maker with coffee and tea included, toaster, air fryer, and the basic condiments. The home offers two gas fireplaces, living room projector, flat screens in every room and master bath with jacuzzi tub. Located in the Hideout, one of the Pocono's premier 4 season communities with amenities including two outdoor heated pools, beach, tennis and basketball courts, ski hill, club house and gym all year round. Wonderful cabin in the woods with lots of amenities. The listing was exactly what was delivered and we all enjoyed ourselves. Our host, was available immediately for the very few questions we had. The basement was awesome - every kind of game along with ping pong, Pac Man (our fav) and air hockey. Hot tub was also enjoyed. Highly recommend!

Property is just as described, owner responsive and available! Beautiful home with everything you need for a relaxing time . While the weather didn’t cooperate we had plenty of activities to keep a busy 9 year in our family entertained! Owner thought of everything you possibly need to feel like home !! We had a great time and would love to come back !

The property was attractive, comfortable,and well equipped except for these items: there was no corkscrew, hand towels or adequate bar soap. We purchased 2 hand towels and bar soap which we left in the house. We also needed to purchase additional garbage bags.
There was plenty to do at the” hideout” area for adults and children.
It would have been very helpful to have instructions on how to close up the house at the end of our stay.

It was a very layed back place to stay. The pace of every day, was nice and slow. Only there 5 days, but felt much longer. Everthing was there to get us started for the week. I would recommend to everyone.

It was nice gated community with access to a beach and a pool. Plenty of stuff for the grand kids to enjoy. The house was very nice. We stayed for a week and wished we could have stayed longer.

Property was clean and beautiful. The owner got right back to us when we asked questions. Only down side, no garbage pick up. You have to take trash to the trash compactor about 2 miles up the road.

This place is absolutely phenomenal!! This lady thought of everything to make this house a wonderful fun and relaxing place to stay!! I highly recommend you stay here and experience it yourself. I will be returning in a couple months. She has all the entertainment you need for adults and children.The communication was impeccable with her fast timely responses. This property was great for a long getaway. Very clean inside (and outside), and enough space to not be on top of each other. Daniela was very responsive to all our questions, maybe the fastest and most detailed of any properties I have rented through VRBO. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for peace, and quiet, in the Poconos.

The 11 of us had a great time during our stay at this home! The listing was accurate and we had no problems with anything on the property! When entering the community at the gate house we were told we needed to have our vehicle registration as well as our ID's. However, we did not know the registration was necessary beforehand. We ended up getting in, but needed to linkup to the wifi to download some registrations as they were not on hand. I'd also like to note that the trash center, unbeknownst to us, was closednfor new years day, but due to the inconvenience the host was kind enough to allow us to leave the trash on the property. Communication was great and timely. Would definitely recommend!

Our family of 5 stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and we had a lovely time. The house is as described on the website. We found the game room very pleasant and very well maintained. Our kids played a lot of ping pong and air hockey. The living room with the projector is very cosy and the bedrooms are very quiet. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. All in all a great property. I would recommend it to anyone who would like a nice gateway.

My family had a wonderful stay at Mountain Chalet! I had 11 people in my party, age ranged from 8months -81 yrs old and they all enjoyed themselves. I would say this house truly sleeps 8 (6 adults 2 kids)comfortably. Luckily we had some young folks with us who didn’t mind sleeping on the couches. There isn’t a formal dining room. The living room and kitchen are on the smaller side so if you plan on having a big family dinner like we did, you may need to get creative. If there is 8 people or less in your party the common areas are more than enough space for you all.
The fireplace, hot tub, and game room were our favorites! There’s so much to do inside that we didn’t feel the need to explore the hideout amenities. The property owner is kind and very responsive. We would stay here again with a smaller group.
Oh final thing is to beware of speed cameras! They are very strict about the speed limit inside the community.

Four of us from Ohio met up with two friends from New Hampshire exactly half way for all. This house is all it was described; wonderful accommodations and great location within The Hideout. We were slightly disappoint that so many things were closed during the last week of Aug., but we still enjoyed the property and the surrounding area. We would rent this house again.

This house is appropriately named! “Where the fun begins” was a jackpot for our family. The kids enjoyed all the games and the adults loved the sauna and the hot tub. The fire pit and grill were a plus. The area has lots to do within a 30 mile radius. We visited Ritters Winery, Alvin’s Off Road Playground, Lehigh Family train excursion and Bushkill Falls. We paddled around the lake and jumped in the pool. Daniela was a gracious host and checked in frequently to make sure we didn’t need anything.

This home was way beyond our needs and we were super happy to stay there. We were a 2 family group with a bunch of teenagers and we had plenty of space. My kids loved the hot tub and especially the Ms. PacMan machine. Beds were super comfy, sheets and towels were provided, it was a perfect location. Great communication. We truly enjoyed our stay. Recommend to anyone looking for a vacation house

To say I was impressed with this property is an understatement. From the moment I booked the place till we checked out the owner was wonderful to communicate with and responded within minutes. The property itself has everything you need, and the listing does not do it Justice. The setting is perfect, we even saw 2 bucks walk through the back yard one morning. This house is very close to the main beach and has easy access to the main gate and other amenities. There is so much to do at this house and our group couldn’t squeeze it in to a weekend. We definitely want to come back for a full week. This is the perfect house and location for people looking to make lifelong memories. Lake Wallenpaupack is about a 10 minute drive. We were able to find a rope swing under a bridge and had a blast swimming before our boat rental. We rented a ski boat from rubber duckie boat rental which was perfect. If you’re looking for a great church to go to while visiting I highly recommend Faith Baptist Fellowship Church.

If it weren’t for being Christmas and having my family with me and not wanting to ruin my time there, whatever I encountered would have been a much bigger deal. Cleanliness needs to be addressed as I found some not so desirable things in the pull out couches , both of them, and there were a decent amount of Cobb webs in the house. I have been to and near the Poconos for the last few years around the same time so I know it’s more outdoorsy so I expect little spider here and there, but like I said there were much more undesirable things that met me in the pullout beds. I will say I was reimbursed my cleaning fee as well as was allowed to stay 2 hours over check out. Was it enough to compensate, I wouldn’t say so. Would I revisit probably not but again every experience is different for everybody. Cleanliness should be the main priority especially when kids are on the guest list.

First I'd like to say the property owners are Amazing! Great, quick communication, extremely helpful and accommodating. So much so, I left my wedding ring (don't tell my wife), they found it and sent me a message right away. A few days later it was returned to me without having to travel back to the property. As for the property, they really set up the Perfect getaway for family of all ages, friends, couples or even a solo trip. The property has more amenities and entertainment then so many other places and well known hotels. From a well stocked game room / entertainment center, to a mini sauna spa, hot tub, front and back outdoors hangout/relaxation areas. The place was clean, kitchen fully stocked with cook/dishware and dishwasher. The children 3 and under had lots of fun with the space and games. My13yr old wants to come back here to celebrate her next birthday!
My wife and I don't usually repeat places we stay to experience new places each time we travel, but we definitely plan on staying here again.

Me and my friends loved this property, very spacious, a lot of fun activities to do while you're in the house, projector was great to watch movies on with big group. If I am going to need a place to stay around the area, I would definitely come here again. The new AC system that the homeowner put in was great and kept the rooms very cold.

Daniela was very attentive and helpful during the process. The kids loved the playroom atmosphere in the basement and the projector screen in the living space. We enjoyed daily use of the pool and lake as well as trips to the golf course. The neighborhood was a good fit for families with little children especially.

Amazing House with Plenty of Amenities
My family of 9 had a fantastic time at Daniela's home. There was so much to do from PacMan, Air Hockey, Paddle Ball, Karaoke, relaxing in the hot tub and sauna! There was plenty of space for everyone. When the weather wasn't great, family game night and movie night was a hit. We went to the lake and to the pool during our time, and loved that the community/amenity passes were included in our stay. We BBQ'd and at night chilled by the camp fire. Daniela was a great host, and I would definitely stay again!

Weekend Getaway with Friends
We were a group of friends with toddlers and wanted to find a place which allowed us to be together as well as spend some time outside. The hot tub was a great experience. The kids enjoyed the Pacman arcade. The kitchen had all the essentials and the owners had left a bag of chocolates for us, as well. The highlight for the kids was the access to the community pool and the beach, where we all had a fun time.

Sweet 16 and mothers day
Wanted to get my family away for a short 2 day stay at the lake, with risking the weather being nice. I wanted to find a house that had plenty to do within just in case. Im glad I stumbled onto this property because of course it rained the whole time. It had a gameroom, hot tub, and sauna. It was spacious for my large family. We loved this house. Daniela has it stocked with everything you need just in case you forgot to pack something. Its close to local stores and paws and claws was a blast as well. Thank you very much Daniela, we will have lifelong memories

We traveled with 6 adults and 5 children. The house was just perfect for our group! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a beautiful warm and cozy house. The house was exceptionally clean. There were cozy throw blankets everywhere and the house was just perfect! Our children enjoyed the downstairs room with an air hockey table and ping pong table. The rooms were warm and the beds were cozy. We loved the sauna and hot tub! We will for sure be back!
