This level of privacy and seclusion is not commonly associated with beachfront property, making it the perfect place to experience the romance, magic, and the unique energy of the ocean without the crowds. It is just a short ride to great restaurants in Dana Point and San Clemente as it is between these two seaside communities where you will find lots of restaurants and shopping. It is 30 minutes from the airport and two minutes to the train station. Learning experiences abound at nearby San Juan Capistrano Mission or Dana Point Harbor Ocean Institute. Proximity to famous theme parks such as Disneyland, Knottsberry Farms, SeaWorld, and the San Diego Zoo make it easy to create a memorable day’s adventure.
This lower-level home of a duplex has an open relaxed feeling starting with an ocean view great room with floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping ocean views and the nicely furnished deck. Relax on the beautiful redwood deck or on a lounge chair in the sand and watch birds and dolphins play as you sunbathe, read, catch up with one another, have a barbecue, take in a sunset, or watch the brilliant starlit skies. Swim, surf, or paddleboard, take a walk, bicycle on an ocean path to Dana Point Pier, run down the beach, kayak, go boating, or play golf at a nearby course.
Lots of comfortable cluster seating makes this a great place to relax, reconnect, and recharge with one another or watch the large TV. A ceiling fan keeps you comfortable at all times. A roomy ocean-view dining area is right next to the modern, well-equipped ocean-view kitchen which has everything you need to satisfy your culinary desires.
Additional amenities include a washer and dryer, WIFI, and cable. There is also driveway parking for added convenience.

The home is beautiful, right on the water although it’s rough if you are not a confident swimmer. We did swim a bit but more for enjoyment of the location and stunning view with spectacular sunsets! The living area is very spacious, lots of comfy seating and giant dining area. The beds were very comfortable. We would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful property that is wheelchair accessible, which is very important for us! The rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. The living room was our favorite as it had floor to ceiling windows that allowed us to hear the ocean all day and it had a big space for our family to spend time. We would highly recommend this property if you are in the area.
The beach is the perfect proximity to the property. The location is wonderful as it is close to San Juan Capistrano and surrounding cities.

We stayed here for a few nights for out anniversary and it very much met expectations. The 3 bedroom unit was spacious and the views - especially of the sunset - were as advertised. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and drinks at night while watching seals, dolphins, pelicans, right from the back door.
Everything for check in was straightforward - the property could've been a little cleaner, but it was adequate and had absolutely everything needed.
I will say that the high tide comes up close so sometimes there was no beach to walk on; but it was absolutely stellar when the tide was lower to walk along the beach from the back door. So if you are expecting kids to always get to play in the sand, this might not work out that way.
Would definitely stay in this unique place in a great location again!

Perfect location on the beach. Easy access to highways and local restaurants. We enjoyed waking up to the sound of waves crashing and enjoying coffee on the patio with a perfect view.

The property was very nice, the view of the ocean is great. It was a challenge getting the right form to per-registar my car, I finally got it, after multiple emails and phone calls and filled it out only to learn at the guard gate to get in, they hadn't received it. I called the number and it took about 20 minutes to get it worked out, so not a huge deal but frustrating. The nice lounge chairs from the photo weren't on the deck. The deck furniture could use some updating as to be more clean and comfortable. The stairs down to the ocean were a nice add that we weren't expecting. The unit inside was clean and nice, but could use more towels, PT, TP and kitchen linens.

This was the perfect location for a staycation with out of town guests. Unit was accurate to the pictures. Small issue with the check in for the guard gate but it was resolved in a timely manner. The lock on one of the sliding doors did not work and management responded with a lock to secure the door.
Beach chairs that were at the unit were not in very good shape so we brought our own.
Would definitely book again for an easy staycation!

This beach house provides everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. I really like the privacy of having an ocean front house with a private beach access. I love the open layout of the house and its modern style. Having a private sand area for my kids made our stay more enjoyable. And there were plenty of sand toys and beach chairs. The house was clean when we arrived, kitchen was fully stocked and lots of towels was provided. Although , the lounge chair that was advertised was not on the deck. It would have been nice to have at least one because the iron chairs were not comfortable. But I appreciate the folding beach chairs that we ended up using. We would definitely come back. What a great beach house to watch the sunset and fall asleep listening to the crashing waves. Thank you for the a great experience and great memories.

We loved the large common area with sliding glass doors that literally had you just a few feet away from the waves of the sea with a sandy area right outside of the home to park beach chairs, build endless amounts of sand castles and bury treasures. Bathroom situation wasn’t ideal for 8 people since one of the two bathrooms was in the master and did not have a door for privacy. Definitely the entire home could have been a lot cleaner. Regardless, the beach made it worth while, we had a GREAT time!

Wow! What a great experience for our family. The location and home were perfect. Saw a group of dolphins frolicking in the water while we were lounging on the deck. The sounds and sight of the ocean every day was heavenly. Aplenty of beach gear for fun on the beach. Scott, who represented Vacasa, was responsive and prompt. If there were one suggestion it would be that each bedroom had a oscillating fan like we had in the master bedroom. Scott brought that to us day one and it was very comfortable with it. Thank you for a memorable experience and we are looking to do this again every summer .… but for two weeks instead on the one!

Overall good experience, we were led to believe there was a parking spot for every bedroom, but that’s not the case with this unit.
One shortcoming is the outdoor water has been isolated so there’s no way to rinse off your feet before going inside

One of the best rentals I’ve been to. Beautiful beach house with doors that open up to breathtaking view of the beach. The sound of the waves breaking put us to sleep at night. It is located in a central location to incredible restaurants and beaches we loved Doheny and San Clemente . We could run and ride bikes on a bike path to both beaches. I would highly recommend this house!

The location of the property was wonderful however when I arrived there was caution tape strung along the deck. There was a significant amount of bank missing versus the pictures advertised. The second night the bank fell in further and made it dangerous. I contacted the management company and they said that it wasn't their problem.

This home was spotless and had everything we could have wished for from the kitchen to to the beach! The access to the beach was right at the edge of our own private sandy beach that was just off our deck down sturdy concrete steps. The view - always spectacular and the location - always perfect! Thank you for a perfect vacation for us & our family !!!!!

This properties location is as good as it gets! We loved being able to walk out the back patio and be right on the beach. The home was well equipped and there was plenty of room for everyone. We will definitely be coming back!

The only thing going for this property is the view. You are affectively living in someone’s basement where the ceiling fans are on timers, the dishes are dirty, the bed is broken and wood slats are protruding out, the shower is either scolding hot or ice cold. The house has zero character or anything to make you feel like you’re in a beach house - Feels like a trailer with an ocean view. You’re better off camping at doheny than pretending you’re at a beach house.

Can’t beat the view from this home! The beach is a little different than it seems in the picture. Not as much dry sand as the picture, as that area can get pretty wet from the waves at night. Or at least that’s how it was when we were there. There is a small sand area off the deck which is great for lounging. But to get to the water, you have to go down some rock steps. The beach below is only useable during part of the day, depending on the tides. And the beach itself can be pretty rocky. Aside from that, you can’t beat the view and we loved all the beach equipment, towels, sheets and kitchen tools were provided. We had a great week here!

There are fabulous views, and the relaxing sound of the waves, but you can't get to a traversable, non-rocky beach without walking quite a way to some sandy areas. If you want a getaway TO the beach without going IN the water, this is a great place for you! The house is gorgeous, amenities abound, decor is lovely. We rent a beachfront house every year, but we like to spend our time ON the beach and IN the water. Unfortunately, this house didn't meet our expectations in that respect.

We really enjoyed the house. The beach access has changed quite a bit from the pictures and these should be updated. We like that the beach takes a little effort to get to as we have 3 littles ones and this made it seem safer having the kids playing in the sand out back. The house had everything we needed and was very nice and clean. We love the location and privacy. Will definitely stay again.

We really had an excellent time on the beach and just enjoying views from the main area of the house. Overall I would just say a few very minor things could use some attention. For instance, many beach toys were broken just toss them and provide less in my opinion. Some of the dishes were cracked and the electric wok was literally falling apart. The lights were challenging to figure out maybe a label maker would help? The vacuum spit sand and dust all over us in the first use so we swept the rest of the time. We only had 4 total rolls of TP for 6 people for a week, definitely bring some TP so you don’t find yourself without. Like I said before very minor “issues” if you can really call them that. Overall absolutely worth the money. There were great places to eat at the marina and down on the pier. Close to grocery without feeling like you’re in the middle of shopping space. Parking is much better than we have experienced in other locations we had plenty of room to get everyone in and out of cars. Trash was close by very easy access. Most gate attendants were very friendly and helpful. We had an excellent stay overall and thank you for the stay!
