About this house rental
The ‘Beachfront Haven’ is a luxurious, spacious and comfortable home right ON a sandy beach with spectacular and unobstructed views of the beach, Netarts bay, and the Pacific Ocean. Sunshine fills our home as it streams through a floor to ceiling 'wall of windows' facing the beach, bay and ocean. Guests in our home have direct and easy beach access… just step out the back door and you're ON the beach. You can watch the boats, harbor seals and pelicans play on the bay, watch the sun set, and you can even watch the kids play on the beach... all while relaxing inside our home. Better yet, just step out the back door and join the kids on the beach building sandcastles, relax with your toes buried in the sand, or go for a long walk on the beautiful, quiet and sandy beach that stretches for 3+ miles North all the way to Oceanside OR.
Our home has soaring vaulted ceilings with massive wood beams throughout and a 14-foot tall wall of windows in the great room that brings in the sunshine and make the stunning beachfront views an integral part of the home. The great room is spacious and comfortable with a wood-burning fireplace in the living area, dining area that seats 10, and a gourmet island kitchen with stainless appliances, custom cherry cabinets, granite counters and everything a chef would need. Also in the great room are a built in cherry desk and bookshelves, 50 inch HD TV, complimentary high-speed internet, and a comfy window bench nestled below the wall of windows, perfect for reading or relaxing, or my favorite... napping, while you take in the spectacular beachfront views.
The Master bedroom is a warm and cozy retreat with its own gas fireplace, King bed with luxury linens, it's own full bath, and a window bench beneath bay windows with unobstructed beachfront views.
In all, our home has 3 bedrooms, a loft, 2 full baths and sleeps 9 people comfortably (max occupancy is 9). All the beds in our home are new and covered with luxury cotton linens and European goose down comforters for a restful night sleep.
Getting to our home in Netarts is an easy 75 mile drive from Portland OR on Hwy 6 which follows the scenic Wilson river as it meanders through the Tillamook State forest.
Our beachfront home is the perfect place for a gathering with family and friends, relaxing while soaking up the views, sunsets and amazing natural beauty, some boating, crabbing or digging for clams in the bay, taking a long run or walk on an uncrowded sandy beach that stretches for 3+ miles, and for enjoying a cozy, comfortable, quiet and peaceful getaway, any time of year.

The house was well stocked and beds were comfortable. The access to the beach was good for everyone from grandparents to grand children. We rented it again for next year !!

Sometimes the pictures of a rental property look great but the property is disappointing. That was not the case with Beachfront Haven. It was just as amazing as the pictures showed. The location could not be better. A private backyard that is just steps from the beach. We were traveling with children and the beach was perfect because it was protected from the large waves by the sand bar, making it much safer. The views out the window were stunning! The home was better supplied than almost any other rental we’ve stayed at. Plenty of dishes, cookware, utensils and spices. There was even foil, plastic wrap and some ziplock bags. They supplied laundry soap, toilet paper, paper towels and all the essentials. There were books for kids and adults, and even some kids toys. It was very much appreciated. Most places provide the minimum. This home felt like home. The beds were all very comfortable and it was easy to enjoy our vacation. We loved that the beach was never crowded, and that it was peaceful and safe. There is a lot to do in the area and we took advantage of some of the beautiful hikes. We watched people dig clams and fish for crabs. It was a perfect beach vacation.

We've stayed in many of your homes in Netarts over the past several years, but this one at Beachfront Haven was the best. Beautiful and comfortable. The kids (9 and 12 year olds) especially loved the loft. Only complaint...the weather. We definitely want to rent this one again.

A wonderful experience from booking to check out. The house was clean, cozy and well stocked. Sarah, the property manager, was gracious and accommodating. Great stretch of beach for walks and sunsets. I highly recommend this property.

Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and the perfect honeymoon getaway. An absolutely perfect rental with no issues whatsoever. I have stayed at many VRBO's over the years that cost more and this was by far the best one I've stayed at. We didn't want to leave and hope to come back someday.

However, the house next door was having a new roof installed, so there was hammering when we got there @ 4:30 Monday, hammering from 8:00 till 6:00 all day Tuesday,Wednesday,and Thursday, and hammering when we left @ 11:00 Friday. Peace and quiet ratings are ZERO.

We absolutely love this house and plan on coming back again! The layout of the house is absolutely perfect for a larger family. The view of the ocean is absolutely stunning and the short walk to the beach was worth every penny. ShoreThing rentals does a great job with cleanliness and communication. I would definitely rent from them again.

This is our second time staying and love the property. Water views are spectacular and can walk straight out to beach from back deck. Having younger kids, we appreciate the calmer waves on the bay, bunk beds, upstairs nook and covered area for storing boots and sand toys. Kitchen super well stocked, great floor plan and master bed comfy. Only con is queen bedroom mattress which would be fine for one of our kids but wasn’t comfortable for the adult. Would stay again!

My only complaint is that I didn't see the backyard fire pit in the listing. No need to hunt for drift wood if you buy wood down the street at $6 a bundle, or bring it yourself.
Also, bring your own crabbing and clamming gear. Its right off the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect accommodations for our group of 9 adults. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook all our group meals, including plenty of cookware, flatware, spices, and more. Home was clearly very lovingly taken care of. Great location right on a quiet beach. We would recommend and would stay again!

The views are worth every penny. The area is so beautiful and worth exploring and yet I could have stayed here and on this beach all day because it is so relaxing, peaceful and beautiful. I definitely hope to be back. The hospitality and customer service was second to none! Thank you!
