Offering Gulf views, The Mermaid Cove is a 3BR/2BA home just steps from the sparkling shoreline and a quick walk to the jetty park. Your beach getaway features a completely renovated interior and an open-concept floor plan. Dine alfresco with a Gulf view on the deck, or drive several minutes into town to enjoy a meal at a local eatery. Fun in the sun is made simple with the epic locale of this home -- just 200’ from the sand! The Surfside Jetty County Park is also within walking distance.

Inside, the sunlit living area provides comfortable furnishings and a smart TV. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with a full suite of stainless steel appliances, stone countertops, and a kitchen island. Start your day with a cup of coffee using the Keurig coffee maker. (Pods are not provided.) When it’s time to eat, the table is great for a family-style meal.

This home sleeps seven guests in three bedrooms. The primary bedroom offers a king bed, an electric fireplace, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom is furnished with a king bed, while the third bedroom has a full-size bed and a twin bed. An adjacent bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower.

Added perks include complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer. Beach chairs and toys are also provided.

THINGS TO KNOW
Due to fluctuating tap water quality in the Village of Surfside Beach, it is recommended to bring bottled water for drinking and/or cooking during your stay. During times of elevated water contaminants, water coming from the faucets and toilets may have a yellow tint. The water is safe for bathing.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Security camera details: There is a camera that faces the driveway and a camera that faces the front door

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

I had originally rented a different house, which was beautiful, but the a/c broke. Almost immediately I was contacted and moved to this beautiful house. The location was fantastic, and you couldn’t ask for better customer service. Can’t wait to come back and stay again.

The house is beautiful, has a lot of space and had everything that we needed. It is very close to a small beach that wasn't very crowded. There is a big pier ideal for fishing at walking distance. The area is quiet and there are some places to eat/have a drink less than a mile away. Several houses around are going through renovations so there was left over construction materials and debris around and on the way to the beach, so you have to be careful with kids and mind where you step on.

We enjoyed a family Thanksgiving at Mermaid Cove. The house had everything we needed for 5 adults. The interior was up to date and well furnished. Unfortunately, there was not much beach while we were there but we walked the jetty and saw some cool container ships.

Interior very nice, exterior needs work. Would be nice to have a driveway for easier access to stairs in rear of home. Only one television, if you have kids it would be nice to have access to a second TV. Overall very nice stay as the most important things you would look for are well taken care of.

Definitely our favorite rental by the beach! Legit view from the porch plus a few steps and you are literally both feet in the water. Super clean and updated. Full kitchen and comfy beds.. you don’t need anything! If you need to get a away worry free, that’s your spot! We will be back for sure!

FANTASTIC! This was a birthday/babymoon getaway for an 8mo preggo lady and it was just what I needed! The property is clean and comfy and easily one of the most well stocked locations I’ve stayed at! It was easy to get to the beach with little ones in tow and aside from one night with rowdy neighbors it was a peaceful getaway! Beautiful beach access and lovely porch to watch the waves. We will 100% be back!

I was hoping for a home right on the beach and was a little worried with this home being the 4th home back that I wouldn't get to hear the waves from the deck but boy was I wrong! I truly loved sitting on the deck, listening to the waves, and not being so close to the beach that you hear the beach noise. The inside of the home was functional, modern and clean. We had no issues cooking meals, the beds were comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet. We will absolutely stay here again.

It was clean and spacious. The layout of the floor plan was very nice and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again. Only negatives were it would’ve been nice if it had been aired out before we arrived and the outside string lights didn’t fully operate. Great location. Kitchen exceptionally stocked with all that we needed. Definitely would recommend to others. We didn’t have to contact management for anything!

The best!

It was perfect, almost, but perfect. While location and house was amazing there was an issue. Our fridge went out and the food spoiled. BUT, they reimbursed me the moment I told them. I was shocked. So that def topped it off. They were very nice and the beach house was so clean. I mean words just can't described how happy I was with EVERYTHING.
