Get away today to Hawksnest Cabin! This immaculate, creekside log cabin is set in a charming mountain community and offers two levels of deck space to enjoy the surrounding natural beauty.

Inside the cabin you'll find a warm and welcoming great room, recently updated with all new furnishings and decor. The stone gas fireplace, operable from October-April only, extends to the top of a vaulted ceiling to keep you cozy while you stream your favorite channels in the main living area. Prepare everything from quick snacks to complete dinners in the well-equipped, full kitchen, or on the deck with the gas grill, and then dine together at the table for six or outside in the fresh air at the picnic table.

You'll find an additional living area on the lower-level with a second TV and a shuffleboard table - a great space for the kids to call their own! And outdoors, admire the forest views from the furnished rear deck or the front porch complete with a swing, splash in the creek in the back yard, or head downstairs to the covered patio to enjoy a soothing soak in your private hot tub.

Time for bed? Here you'll find a bedroom and full bathroom on each floor, offering a nice layout and privacy for everyone. All three bedrooms offer a Queen sized bed, and the bedroom on the top level also offers a fullsized futon, perfect for one or two kiddos. Each bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

Hawksnest Cabin is perfectly located in the charming mountain town of Seven Devils, midway between Boone and Banner Elk. Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline is less than 5 minutes away, and countless local attractions and wonderful shopping & dining options are within 20 minutes' drive.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Please note that guests are not allowed to bring their own wood-burning device (portable fire pits, Solo Stoves, etc) of any kind. This is a town ordinance and hefty fines will be passed on to guests who break this rule.
- All linens and towels are provided for your stay.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers.
- The gas fireplace is only operational during the months of October-April. It is turned off and decorative during warmer months.
- AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months. All main roads on Seven Devils are paved but can be quite steep in some places.
- This home is pet friendly for mature, well-trained dogs only. The pet fee is $25/nt per pet. Dog breeds not allowed in this home include Akita, Pit bull, Staffordshire Terrier, Chow, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Shar-Pei, Wolf Hybrid, or a mix with any of these breeds. Thank you for not requesting an exception.
- Please note that the owners of this home use a security camera to monitor the driveway to ensure the home remains safe when unoccupied. No cameras face towards the home.
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.

We booked this cabin for our daughter’s 6th birthday trip. We had so much fun! The cabin was perfect for two families to stay. The back deck is amazing and we are so glad we chose to stay here.

I usually bring my post COVID cleaning wipes, etc. when we check in somewhere. No need at Hawksnest cabin! It was immaculate! We had 3 separate couples and we all had our own private sleeping area. The hot tub was large and fun. Great location. No complaints at all. Highly recommend 👍

Our cabin was great and was the perfect location for us to go tubing at Hawksnest. Cabin was very clean and came equipped with everything we needed. I would absolutely stay at this rental again!

The house was very nice and the kitchen was well equipped with supplies. The deck was amazing. We loved the community and how close it was to everything. There were a number of things that needed improvement. There was a pungent oder in the basement so bad we could not stay down there long, the light in the washroom did not work, there were no dish towels, proper information for trash removal was not given, and the bathroom sink on the main floor would not drain. With those items fixed it was a lovely house and should not deter you from renting.

Cabin has a great layout for sleeping on multiple floors, was very clean and comfortable! While there aren’t any mountain views, the covered porch is a great spot and hot tub was perfect. Had just about anything we needed in the kitchen. Supported with a great trusted property management company, though we didn’t need anything with an easy check in process.
