We loved our stay here. Clean and spacious with 2 nice decks with tree obstructed view of the bay. It is on 3 levels - you enter on the main level that has the kitchen, dining room, living room (with views and direct access to the deck), laundry room and half bath. Upstairs is the master bedroom and full bath. The bottom level has 3 beds and a full bath. It is a bit musty but opening the windows solves this. The hot water smells a bit of sulphur but not really a problem. Overall our stay was quiet and peaceful- just what we wanted. Not much to do locally - Round Pond has a good restaurant, coffee shop and a very small store with ice cream. New Harbor, nearby, has a restaurant and boat tours (we took the Puffin Tour which was fun!). We would definitely stay here again.

We really wanted to love this place. The house itself was nice. Great location. Very relaxing. The main floor and top bedroom floor were highlights for sure. Comfortable master bedroom. Great balconies. Nice kitchen. It was a little warm in the summer with no A/C you need to blast the fans, but it’s not a deal breaker. Worse is the upstairs shower has a strong sulpher smell. We also live on a well so we understand a sulpher smell, but this one is stronger than what we expected. It’s not the most pleasant. I recommend this property for 1 or 2 people since the upstairs bedroom was the only usable one. Unfortunately, the property has a severe issue with mold on the bottom floor, making it completely unusable. The smell was strong, and it was evident that the mold problem had been present for some time. This drastically reduced the usable space and comfort of the accommodation. Even more frustrating was the hosts' unresponsiveness. Despite multiple attempts to contact them regarding the mold issue, they were slow to respond and did not take any immediate action to address the problem. This lack of communication and assistance was disappointing and added unnecessary stress to the stay. I’m in the hospitality industry and I’m not one to complain unnecessarily. But people should know the issues we experienced so they can know what to expect.

Beautiful house with great decks and sleeping spaces. There was a very close boat launch which was great for us on our kayaking trip.

Nice location, nice house. The view would be better if the the owner trimmed the trees between the house and the ocean view. The clothing dryer is missing the filter and doesn't work.

From the time we arrived to the time we left actually a day early the water had a very strong rotten egg smell many emails and phone calls to the management company and it was never resolved. We had to shower and wash dishes in rotten eggs. The home was nice, the mgt. company not recommended. I think owners should have access to guest/mgt company real time communications to head off such a bad guest experience.

This is a great place especially if you have dogs. The only advice I would give the management company is to leave directions to the transfer station or better yet take the trash for your guests at the end of their stay. Putting smelly trash in our car wasn’t great. All in all though, it was a great place for a family with dogs!

The location near Round Pond was great, with tons of wonderful food and things to do. Easily able to access lots of hikes, restaurants and towns. The kitchen was large and had a lot of cooking items so we could cook at home. Nice to have a washer/dryer. Internet and tv worked great when we used it. Nice but rocky path down to the water with a great view.

This property is in a lovely, quiet setting overlooking the Gulf of Maine, and we very much enjoyed sitting outside, watching the birds and the lobster boats make their rounds. We liked being able to bring our dog. However, the house itself has a number of problems: Cleaning was not thorough - including dust and pet hair on upholstery, in the primary bedroom, spider webs, dead leaves on decks - not swept or cleaned at all - moldy shower tiles, and there is water damage/bubbling paint on one wall in the lower bathroom. The owner's belongings are everywhere, and although the bathrooms and kitchen are renovated, the furniture feels like leftovers and doesn't provide comfortable seating for four people, particularly on the upper deck, which is the best feature. There isn't any seating at all for the lower deck which, again, was not swept and since it does not have furniture, was unusable. The path down to the water is overgrown with nowhere to sit to enjoy the view from there. The kitchen has decent appliances - although the refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser are broken - and while there are a lot of drinking glasses, the kitchen drawers are disorganized with a random assortment of pots, bowls, etc. for cooking and serving. The bedrooms face east and the curtains/blinds are thin, so we were woken up every morning by the sunrise. Beautiful, but would have been nice to sleep past 6 am. There should be a way to store the garbage outside - living with a progressively smellier garbage for a week wasn't great, and the process of taking the garbage/recyclables to the Bristol dump should be handled by someone hired by Vacasa. Not an ideal way to end a vacation.
