Our family trip was made to relocate someone. The host made everything about our trip easy. Communication started immediately after booking and any questions I had were answered within an hour before, during and after our stay. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. The Rodriguez have taken alot of time and attention to detail. Everything we needed was there from fully stocked spices in the kitchen to family games to play. It felt like we were at a high end resort with a cozy feeling of home. My kids even slept well the entire trip. The location was perfect. Close to everything that mattered and easy to get from one side of Flag to the other. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly and even helpful.

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend at Kathy’s Cabin. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed! The neighborhood is quiet, just far enough from town but still convenient. There are excellent walking trails right across the main road. We hiked Mt. Humphries, enjoyed the Flagstaff Extreme Adventure course, and took several walks. We enjoyed cooking, eating on the patio and playing games in the evening.

As advertised, Kathy's Cabin is in a great neighborhood location south of town and still only 5-10 minutes from most everything. The property is clean and well kept, and the owner's communication is best in class. I would happily reserve again in future, and wish we could have stayed longer. It was a short 2 nights but enjoyable trip!

The kitchen had everything we needed. The layout was so nice. The master was HUGE! There were porches in the front, off the dining room and off the master. Everyone had a place to gather and a place for a little alone time to enjoy our stay. Just minutes from NAU.

We loved the house, set-up, and communication with the host was excellent. Our four kids (ages 6, 9, 10, and 11) enjoyed the hot tub and having their own tvs. It was very clean (and I’m picky!). The host even had their cleaner come and shovel the driveway and steps after a big snow. Overall, best VRBO experience for us frequent travelers.

The cabin was exactly as described. The neighborhood was quiet, hot tub was perfect (and the owners left it warm for us so when we arrived and got settled we were able to jump right in which was exactly what we wanted to relax before hitting the slopes in the morning. Lovely and very clean!

There were four of us staying at Kathy’s cabin and we had an absolutely wonderful stay. The cabin was super pristine and we did a ton of cooking in the kitchen which was fully stocked with any cooking ware we needed. We were going to a 3 day music festival at Pepsi amphitheater which was a short easy drive away which made this a perfect location for us. We used the hot tub every night after hours of dancing which was our favorite amenity. We also really loved the bathtub in the master bedroom! I will also say the pictures don’t do justice of how big this cabin is. We didn’t even utilize one of the bedrooms! And still room for someone to sleep on the couch and futon. The Wi-Fi also had very strong connection. I would highly recommend staying here and we are Arizona locals in the valley so we will definitely stay here again when we are in flagstaff!

I enjoyed staying at this rented house. Its impressive features made my summer getaway truly unforgettable. The house itself is spacious, clean, tastefully decorated, and well-equipped. I'd highlight a
luxurious hot tub, super-fast Internet, and automatically reclining chairs provide an extra touch of comfort and convenience.
I must also commend the hosts, Rodrigo and Paula, for their exceptional hospitality. They go above and beyond to ensure that their guests have a wonderful stay. From the moment I arrived, they were attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. It is evident that they take great pride in their property and work diligently to maintain its excellence.

Everything from the location to the decor and thoughtful details made this the ideal place for me and my family to stay for our Flagstaff vacation. Truly have nothing bad to say about this home. Exactly as represented and the obvious thought and effort that went/goes into making the experience effortless is evident at every turn. The fact they leave the hot tub heated to a perfect 104* so you’re ready to slide in after a nice day on the slopes is wonderful!! Was an amazing weekend with my family. Plenty of room for everyone. Extremely comfortable, clean, and cozy. Host were attentive and responded within minutes of messaging. Everything you could possibly need and then some available. The home was decorated for Xmas with a tree and everything. Truly felt festive with the tree lite up, fire going, and a cup hot coco. Must say my family enjoyed our entire stay. I’d have to say my granddaughters favorite part was the jacuzzi tube. Definitely recommend Kathy’s Cabin.

The property is tucked away in a very nice neighborhood, with pine trees still standing it gives it a forest setting. The home is very clean and well organized for any size family. The jacuzzi on the back patio along with the barbeque grill makes it very convenient to just RELAX. I would recommend this property to anyone needing to get out of the city.

This was a perfect getaway I. The cool pines of Flagstaff. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful but still close to all the shops, restaurants and amenities Flagstaff has to offer. It is the perfect location for a getaway and cooler temperatures.
The house was beautifully clean and well appointed with all you could need for your stay. We really enjoyed the back deck in amongst the pines and the hot tub in the cool evening. The check in and out process was easy and well communicated by the host. We would definitely recommend to any family visiting the area.

Great property for two families! We had two families of four and our kids loves sharing the bunk bed room. The lower bunk bed is a double bed so kids could sleep there if they didn’t want to sleep on top. The king bed and queen bed in other rooms were comfortable as well. Very stocked kitchen with appliances and everything you need. The hot tub was great as well as instructions and cleaning tablet was appreciated. Great house!!

Kathy’s Cabin was the greatest VRBO experience I’ve had. If you’re OCD on cleanliness, this is the place for you. The property is well maintained, and provided all the comforts of home and then some. The host Rodrigo and Paula provided great timely communication before during and after our stay, and made it clear that wanted to make sure we were comfortable during our stay, and we were. We’re looking forward to returning to Kathy’s Cabin during our next visit to Flagstaff.

We were staying in Flagstaff for the weekend as several of our group were doing the Mountain Man Triathlon. Great house with excellent location being a few minutes from town and not far from the race. Space was large, comfortable and clean. The beds were fantastic, including the fancy adjustable bed in the master. Lots of options for TVs and the kitchen was well outfitted. Having a large garage made it easy to work on bikes and the hot tub was a great feature after a long day of racing. We are definitely looking to return to explore more of Flagstaff! Excellent house!

This house is very large for a family of 6, the living room is very comfortable, but, most importantly, I don't think you could ask for a better location. This is right next to federal land areas where you can see elk, deer, and all sorts of things. It is right off of the interstate, but you do not feel like you are close to anywhere. The neighborhood is the quintessential American neighborhood, with kids playing all around. A great, quiet street. Perfect for families.

The Perfect VRBO
I have stayed in a number of very nice VRBO properties, but this one beats them all. The house is clean, comfortable, and very spacious, and the furnishings are clearly NOT early-attic hand-me-downs but rather pieces selected especially for guests. For example, the double bunk beds in the third bedroom have larger beds on the bottom so that adults staying with their children have plenty of room. BTW, the bathroom with the tub is accessible only through the master bedroom, which was exactly what we wanted but which was not clear (at least to me) in the description of the property. The outdoor amenities (hot tub, fire pit, picnic table with umbrella, two small balconies with chairs and tables, and benches in the yard) allow guests to meet and mingle in different places. Our group was composed of three members of an international online writing group who had never met in person (and their spouses and children), and Cheerful Kathy's Cabin gave us the perfect blend of togetherness and privacy and added tremendously to pleasure and fun of the gathering. Perfect home for families, great outdoor space!
We had a wonderful stay at this property! Our favorite part was the outdoor space, which includes a hot tub, gas fire pit and nice big dining table. The interior is great too - very spacious with a huge primary bedroom and kitchen/dining room area. Each bedroom has a nice tv with internet - the BEST internet we have ever had in Flagstaff (SO fast and reliable)! Location is perfect - close to everything we wanted to do in and around Flagstaff, but in a nice little neighborhood with great walking/hiking paths nearby.
The hosts have clearly put a lot of work into making sure this property is perfect for guests. Everything works beautifully, and all the "little things" like the pots and pans, kid-friendly dishes, shampoo/conditioner, etc, are all much higher quality than you typically get in a rental. This is not the most expensive property we have stayed in, but it is our favorite!

Beautiful place to escape AZ summer heat
I rented the house for ten days in late May. It's probably the coolest place within 2 hours of driving from Phoenix. The house is very well furnished and equipped (fast internet, central heating system, spa, garage, kitchen, patio, TVs). I was working remotely and my family (wife, adult daughter with special needs, and son 10yo) had a great time there hanging out in the house, walking in the forests, bicycling, and driving around. Rodrigo and Paula, thank you a lot for your hospitality. Hope to visit you again the next year!
