The condo was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and serve a meal to everyone in attendance(7 people). The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were large and had enough nice clean towels, and soap, shampoo, etc. for our stay. We loved our balcony and the unobstructed water view. The pool was very clean and lovely to relax in. We spent most of the day Saturday in the Gulf waters. Everything about this trip was so relaxing, and so needed as we complete the final touches for my daughter’s upcoming wedding. We WILL be back!!

Nice pool, super close to the ocean, central location.

This unit was amazing, but another review from previous months reported the balcony door would not lock. You responded to the review so I know you seen it. When we arrived the first thing I checked was the balcony door locks and wouldn’t you know it still messed up. To most it’s not a big deal but when traveling with small kids it is imperative that you can lock doors to prevent accidents. Take your feed back seriously or don't ask for it.

We stayed here with 11 people from ages 11 months to 58 years old. It was perfect because each of us had our own space but we were all able to stay together. We spent a lot of time on the balcony, the view was amazing! The condo was really nice and clean. The only complaints we had was the internet connection was not very good, the kitchen could use a little more general supplies such as pot holders and oven mitts, some basic seasonings like salt and pepper would’ve been great too. The bath towel supply is very limited, but since it has a washer and dryer that was not much of a problem. My only other suggestion would be some beach/pool supplies such as a beach towel or two and a folding chair or two, the condo does not have anything for the beach/pool. We would definitely stay here again, overall the location, cleanliness, and accommodations for the size of our group made it a great place for our beach vacation.

Perfect location on beach with a pool! We really enjoyed our stay.
8.0 / 10.0
The place was incredible with an amazing view from the master bedroom, family room, and balcony. Plenty of room for our group of 9. We were super happy as soon as we walked through the door, beds were comfy and the unit was clean and stocked when we arrived. Very pleasant experience.

Top floor, great views, great location! Unfortunately the sliding door locks were not working, and only 1 of the 3 doors had a working safety bar so if you have young children, either bring your own way to keep the sliding doors shut or make sure it’s been fixed. WiFi was SUPER slow, but everything else was amazing!

Just walking into the condo was a smile on everyone's face! Walking room to room was so great seeing all the space and all the bathrooms! Top floor big balcony, spectacular view!!! Love how the 9 of us could comfortably eat together. Vacasa was very friendly, helpful and had personal touch. Fantastic time, fantastic place.

Quiet location in February. Plenty of space and a bathroom for every room. Unit is relatively clean, could use a good spring cleaning and more attention to detail. Towels were new, but hadn’t been washed so they weren’t very absorbent. Kitchen has limited supplies, one towel, no hot pads. Overall we would stay again.

Everything you need is here or very close beach front with balconies that view the ocean. Only bad thing is two parking spots for a five room condo. Rooms were clean it is an older condo but very comfortable.

Great time at this top floor condo with excellent views of the Gulf. Rooms had some oversized furniture that could be downsized to allow for easier maneuverability in the rooms. Cable/Sat TV and internet intermittently working. Floors could use a better cleaning, and need a broom available to guests.
Overall, would stay here again. The convenient location and number of beds/baths was great for our large family gathering.

The condo itself was beautiful as well as the area. The problem arose when we did not have a working refridgerator for 3 days in 100 degree heat with a family of 10 people. They told us to run to the store for all our meals and tried to blame the problem on us. We have contacted Vacasa at least 50 times only to be misled and lied to constantly. I will NEVER stay at a place that is managed by them again nor will I recommend them. Unfortunately something that could have been solved by sending out someone to fix the fridge the same day has led to a terrible time for my family during our yearly vacation and an extended headache due to the numerous time spent trying to solve the problem.

This was the perfect place to have a family beach vacation. There were enough bedrooms for us and our three adult families.

It was very spacious and clean. Loved sitting out on the balcony which had plenty of seating. My family and I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay here again!
8.0 / 10.0
The balcony, though small, provided a great ocean view and beach views in both directions. Condo is spacious and reasonably soundproof within the unit. We had a known leak in the kitchen that was repaired and garbage disposal replaced in less than 24 hours by a pleasant repairman. Repairs are needed in several areas of the unit, but they did not limit our enjoyment. The quality of the bathroom linens is substandard. The toilet paper is not acceptable.
8.0 / 10.0
Everything was wonderful. The only thing was the hill of sand to walk up and down to get to the beach. The walk way should be longer and maybe a step or two.
10.0 / 10.0
The condo is nice and roomy with a good view. It is a little short on the amenities and a few repairs were needed but the maintenance staff was very quick to respond and fix most of the issues.
8.0 / 10.0
The place was super roomy, bathrooms galore and plenty of towels. The kitchen is well stocked. The stools in the kitchen need to be replaced, the a/c u it is a little loud, but works great! The sunsets were amazing from the balcony! I would definitely stay here again!
6.0 / 10.0
The unit has 5 bdrs which was awesome. I knew the condo was older, however I was disappointed it has not been updated . We walked in to a broken bar stool turned upside down on the bar counter. The furniture and accessories were dated and worn. The living room TV was old with an outdated DISH system. Kitchen plastic bowels were stained and plastic spatula was melted. The master bed was very uncomfortable. Master TV didn’t work (which we need to sleep). Upon arriving we got a nice text from the VACASA team that assigned us a person to assist with any issues. I immediately let them know master tv didn’t work and the main sliding glass door kept going off track. They were responsive to the text but no one ever showed up to fix. Another (personal) disappointment was that I didn’t get to enjoy relaxing/napping on the balcony lounge chair because this condo didn’t have a lounge chair on the balcony. (Every condo I’ve ever stayed in had a lounge chair). This condo has the potential to be spectacular! Great location and wonderful view! …Just needs a little love and attention.

Five stars: location, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, clean pool area, so close to beach, views
Four stars: Beds - not all mattresses had mattress pads, not enough blankets or extra bedding.
Three stars: Decor, furniture quality - also, who cares bc you are not living there. The condo was expensive so I thought it would be nicer.
Two stars: no hangars in closets, not even one box of tissues, kitchen looked clean but the pots, pans and some utensils were dirty and disgusting and had to be washed and scrubbed before using.
Overall we had a great family vacation with three generations. It would have been good to know that the area is not serviced by any umbrella service. The Legacy will not allow it to be serviced so we had to buy umbrellas and chairs, and leave them behind because those things don’t fit into luggage to fly home; this would have been nice to know in advance.

We stayed a week in July and the 5 bedrooms and location were perfect for our needs. We did feel however some upgrades could be done and they’re simple. We had 10 people staying and only had 10 forks so we were constantly washing forks. The other is the cleaning utensils if you will. The broom was frayed something awful and needed replaced. Great condo with perfect proximity to the beach

The unit is terrific. Great location. Great neighbors. No hangers in any closet. Three rooms with no dressers or drawers. Had to live of of suitcases. Two rooms had overhead light bulbs not working. Refrigerator barely worked. multiple remotes without batteries. Called for service. Never heard back from anyone.
6.0 / 10.0
First, the positives: Condo is spacious. We had plenty of room for 10 adults. Great location, right on beautiful Gulf Shores beach, close to restaurants and shopping. Negatives: Limited to 2 parking spaces for a unit that holds 13 people.
Kitchen is not well equipped - not even enough silverware for everyone. 2nd refrigerator is in the unit because primary was inoperable and not replaced while we were there (a full week). Cleaning just acceptable. Internet drops. Older TVs that don't support HDMI connections. Bottom line: If you need a large place right on the beach in a great location, this fits the bill. But for the money, I expected better.
8.0 / 10.0
This is a great unit with a great view and location. The only complaint is that the refrigerator wasn’t working and I had problems getting in touch with Vacasa.

Myself and five colleagues stayed three nights for a work trip. Great property, lots of space, beautiful views and convenient to Gilf Shores and Orange Beach.

Overall pleased with everything except this is a condo that can sleep 13 adults but only allows parking for 2 vehicles.
8.0 / 10.0
We had plenty of room for our family. Great access to the beach. Only problem was one of the queen beds was not a good mattress.
6.0 / 10.0
Overall it was a nice property. Great for large families. But it could use some up grades and repairs. One of the bar stools Ian one of the dining chairs were broke. Could definitely use a better selection of pots and pans, baking dishes and cookie sheets etc. Needs a new can opener! The electric and hand one are both dull and dos not work well. Needs new broom and mop also. Just a few small upgrades could make it a great place!
10.0 / 10.0
On the beach, with a pool, top floor! Was great for our family trip with 8 adults and 5 kids. They bounced from beach to pool all day long. Could run up for lunch or naps and could watch everything from the balcony.

We actually rented 2 condos in this building. It was nice to have 5 bedrooms but there are a lot of things that need to be fixed or replaced. Beds, bar stools, curtains and some ceiling fans need replacing. There were these thin tablecloth like comforters on the beds but no blankets around for some that needed one. The bathrooms were ok but no bath mats/rugs to put your feet on after shower and they seemed to be clean but the floors thru out the whole condo were the worst. Very dirty. They looked like they had not been cleaned/mopped in several weeks! The air flow in the halls outside the front doors of condos and elevators was pretty bad. Very hot. Although the location was good. We will NOT be staying here again.

Excellent stay
We rented the condo for the State Track meet. There were 10 of us staying at the condo and it had an amazing amount of room. It was a great location and had an amazing view. We highly recommend this condo and will be staying here again.

Room for All
Overall the property was in fairly good shape. There is a few things requiring attention. Mostly in the Mater bedroom. The remote control for the Dish box is missing. Also the garden tub needs some faucet work done. The water runs continuously. The location is fantastic. On the top floor!! And there is lots of room for all.

I was very excited to find a 5-bedroom condo in the Gulf Shores area since my elderly dad does not do well on stairs to enjoy a family gathering for Thanksgiving.
My first impression upon arrival at Legacy 802 was that the front door belonged to Ma and Pa Kettle's house (if you are a boomer like me you will get that reference). It was in very bad shape and either needs a good cleaning & repainting or needs to be replaced. Inside, we found 5 bedrooms (4 ensuite), a spacious kitchen that was stocked with plenty of plates, baking dishes, cutlery (although few more forks would be nice) and glassware.
As we settled in the condo, we found 2 broken bar stools set off to the side of the kitchen. 2 barstools remained--but only one was the right size for the island/pensinsula--the other was too tall. Plus, the dining table had only 6 chairs.
Simple math tells you that when there is a 5-bedroom condo, your party would most likely consist of 7-8 adults, 3-4 kids.
Where is everyone going to sit for meals?? You need at least 5-7 barstools for as large as the island/peninsula is and for how many people the condo accommodates.
Our solution was to bring in patio chairs for our Thanksgiving dinner.
Over the next few days of our stay, we noticed several things were not working as expected from a condo that is probably in the million-dollar range:
(1) The closet doors were off the tracks in 2 of the guest bedrooms
(2) The bathroom attached to the bedroom closest to the front door (with the window facing into the breezeway/exterior hallway), has a leaking tank seal. Every time you flushed the toilet, a little amount of water seeped out towards the toilet seat.
(3) The same bathroom from item #2 needs a blackout curtain. The only window faces the hallway and has 24/7 fluorescent light shining in.
(4) Another bedroom had an unusable lamp--the harp was broken and the lampshade could not be made to stand upright (it was the only bedside lamp in the room).
(5) The 'bunkroom' guest room needs a side table with a lamp to hold your eyeglasses, phone, iPad, etc.
(6) Kitchen needs a pair of scissors
(7) overall, the decor is OK--but some of the furniture is pretty worn with scratches and scuffs; paint touch-ups are needed throughout the unit
(8) The only cutting board is made of glass, is very old and makes a lot of noise. Please update to a plastic or butcher block version--I never felt safe using the glass one.
On the positive side:
The side-by-side refrigerator looked relatively new, made a lot of ice, and held a LOT of groceries.
Great hot water in the kitchen and good water pressure in the showers.
We appreciated the containers of anti-bacterial liquid soap that were provided.
Lastly, a personal pet peeve of mine:
Please install a 3-way lightbulb when a lamp accommodates one.
It is so nice to have a low, medium, and high setting lightbulb when watching TV, knitting and/or reading. Not a single lamp had a 3-day bulb throughout the condo and there were 2 lamps in the livingroom, 2 in the MBR and (I think) 2 more in the guest bedrooms.
Would I stay here again? Not unless we need another 5-bedrooms all on one floor (condo vs a house) and the condo is updated.
