Old Florida meets modern comfort and convenience in this charming Bokeelia home. There’s a homey feel from the moment you step through the front door into the first of two comfortable seating areas, each with beachy touches, plenty of seating and flatscreen TVs with streaming capabilities. The main living room and kitchen share an open living area, so the chef won’t feel left out while whipping up anything from a snack to a full meal in the well-appointed space. Outside, through your sliding glass doors, you’ll find a fully-enclosed sun room, a perfect space for reading a book or listening to music on the sound dock.Once you settle in, it's time to explore. Take a turn around charming Bokeelia on one of the two bikes available for your use, or hop on one of the home's paddleboards and take to the water. When you return, grab a tasty beverage and head out to your canal-front deck to watch the stars come out.

Dock details: Boat lift is not for guest use. Guests can stand, sit, or fish on the dock. Due to multiple factors beyond Vacasa's control, we cannot guarantee a safe docking of any water crafts.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Comfortable, roomy and well appointed. Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the canal. Do wish the boat life worked but plenty of dock for kayaking etc. Nice washer/dryer and vacuum and some cleaning supplies -very helpful if you’re there for a while.

We loved the location. We were able to tie up our boat right out back and fish to our hearts content. Neighbors were friendly and helpful. The place could use some TLC from the owners as well as VACASA being more diligent and proactive in addressing potential issues. See comments above.

If you like quiet, this is the place for you. Located on a deep water canal with a 5 minute kayak paddle to the bay (kayaks available for use)!!

Overall great. Check in was a struggle. Was locked out for 2.5 hrs upon arrival. Property manager did not respond timely. Vacasa customer service needs a revamp. Was told to inquire about reimbursement with her but no luck. Otherwise great property.

This property was a great value. We were close to fishing and on the canal leading to open water. Would have liked to know the dock was available in advance and would have rented a boat for the week. The only negative was the kitchen lighting. It was so dim we could not see to cook. The stove top lights did not work and there are no under-counter lights and very low wattage bulbs over the table, so low I could not read. While this was a negative my overall impression was positive.

The inside of the house was clean and roomy, but several lightbulbs were burned out and no extras found. 4 dishwasher pods provided and one was so hard it wouldn’t fit in dispenser. (The neighbor gave us one). One extra roll of tp per 2 bathrooms for 10 days & 4 adults? Hand soap dispensers were nearly empty (we had to buy replacements).Garbage cans outside of house were packed when we arrived. Full garbage bags and construction debris littered over front lawn. No information about pickup given us. After 4 days, we called company and were told to put out garbage early Fri morning. Pick up happened Monday, but construction debris remained. Backyard furniture: 4 chairs didn’t have cushions, so unusable. There were 3 decent chairs, but 4 of us. There were two canvas director chairs which both tore—we are not obese people. Yard, front and back, was unkempt, very weedy. Neighbors’ yards were pristine. No written information was provided about using tv or check out procedures…had to call company. Lighting in kitchen was poor. Living room furniture and beds were comfortable. Thank goodness.

This home offered a variety of super comfortable spaces where we could privately relax or comfortably hang out as a group. The home was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The neighborhood was incredibly quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

This home was beautiful and had just the right amount of room for our family. We had some issues with the ac but the manager was amazing on getting someone over to fix it. Definitely recommend this home for future stays.
