The beautiful valley below is full of wildflowers, lakes, cows, and horses grazing. Listen for the whistle of the train, watch the soaring eagles and gaze at the starlit skies. Family and pet friendly.

The amazing outdoor covered living space is so relaxing and peaceful. It offers a brand -new hot tub, outdoor dining, a gas grill and comfortable oversized Amish rocking chairs that enable you to see the view and not look at the railing. The deck also overlooks incredible boulders with space to roam or enjoy the new solo stove bonfire = low smoke & hot fire with comfortable Adirondack chairs.

Decorated with all the flair and charm of a mountain cabin, with the style of a home you would find in Southern Living! With views and sunsets that will make you never want to leave. 3 bedrooms is just perfect for a family of 6 or friends. The kitchen is well-stocked and has a coffee bar with Keurig and Ninja coffee options.

Family members and I got to spend 5 nights at beautiful Breathless for my mom’s and my aunt’s birthdays. We enjoyed it so much! The sunsets and rain clouds rolling down the valley were equally lovely and the cabin is terrific and even prettier in person. We adventured in Desoto Falls, Mentone and Ft Payne. We can’t wait to stay at Breathless again!

Are family had such a wonderful time! The view is Breathtaking. The gliding bar height rocking chairs overlooking the view are amazing. Listening to the faint sounds of the train at the bottom of the mountain was so nostalgic. The cabin is stocked with everything! I can’t say enough about this sweet cozy cabin! We hope to stay again!

Property is just as pictures display. The view is literally indescribable!!! Everything was so comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do. Owner was quick to respond and very helpful. Definitely enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting this property again.

This was our first ever visit to the town of Mentone, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Breathless is duly named. The property is pristine and well maintained. The cabin is beautifully decorated and well equipped for a relaxing, stress-free stay. The view alone pays for itself! Mrs. Nobles was such a joy to work with. You can tell that she and her husband take great pride in their property and their guests' experiences. We began planning our next stay before we even left! If you are looking to stay in Mentone, look no further than Breathless!

My husband, two girls, and I really enjoyed our week stay. We are from winfield al and typically choose the beach or mountains for our family vacations. We really wanted to be away from the caos this year. This cabin is goregous and so peaceful. You can tell the owners go out of their way to accommodate their guests! This cabin had everything we could have needed. The sunsets were breath taking! Only 45 mins away from Chattanooga. I would have stayed around the cabin the entire time but my girls wanted to get out! 1000% recommend!

I came to watch my granddaughter graduate kindergarten and had the privilege to stay at Breathless! This place is amazing and has the best views! Laura made booking this great location very easy and the cabin was very clean well stocked and comfortable! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone and I hope that I get the opportunity to return to this beautiful place sometime in the future! What a place to unwind and relax! From the comfortable inside setting to the gorgeous views from the back deck it really met our needs for the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and overall relaxation. And the views are absolutely spectacular!

This is our annual hiking trip with friends . This year we brought the kids with us (teens) so we needed a larger space for them. This house was perfect and had the best view. Each morning we were greeted with bunnies out back. The kids loved the hot tub and the kitchen was well stocked with everything to be able to actual cook. Huge bonus to us as we like to cook. Super easy check in and out.

Our host was excellent! She had lights and soft music playing as we entered the home! She had a fully stock coffee bar for us and we enjoyed coffee every morning on the front porch swing. Evenings we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit while watching the gorgeous sunsets and the spectacular view!! We will definitely come back!

My family not only loved the unbelievable views from this cabin with the gorgeous mornings and spectacular sunsets, but we truly enjoyed the beautiful cabin & it’s amenities as well. From the wonderfully prepared welcome to the easy checkout process. A great time was had by all in the area visiting historical venues, parks and simply nature, as well as the small shops and eateries of small towns nearby. Everyone in the family commented how they wished they could stay longer. Thank you for the memories and I highly recommend this “Breathless” getaway in the clouds.

An absolutely beautiful house for a relaxing and peaceful escape. The pictures just cannot do the place justice. Stocked with everything we needed, and more; I wished I hadn't stressed so with packing! The porch is amazing, and the view is picturesque. Despite 90-degree July weather, the breeze and afternoon showers made evenings in the hot tub possible. I hope we can return in the future.

My family had a wonderful, memorable stay at Breathless. The cabin was just as described, spotless, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. We felt at home right away and thoroughly enjoyed the back deck with the hot tub and the Amish chairs. The view from the brow of the mountain was incredible. We even were able to watch fireworks off in the distance. So comfortable and enjoyable in every way. Our host provided clear communication, and check-in and check-out was so easy. We all agreed that we would like to return to Breathless in the fall.

We enjoyed our stay at Breathless for Father’s Day weekend before we dropped one of our daughters off to camp Skyline. This was our first time staying in Mentone but it definitely will not be the last! The view was just breathtaking. We spent lots of time on the porch taking in the view, listening to music and enjoying the hot tub! The house was very clean and check in/out was a breeze. The little town of Mentone was only a short 5 minutes away. It was the perfect house for our stay! Already looking to book again next year!!

The panoramic views and serenity of the location were just what we needed for a rejuvenating weekend. The cabin was very well equipped with everything that we needed. And it was very centrally located to the state parks where we hiked both days. Mentone is a sleepy little mountain town, so be sure to come stocked with food and drinks as places to purchase these items are limited. We will definitely return to this cabin if our travels take us in that direction.

Breathless is aptly named as the view is breathtaking. The cabin is clean and very efficiently stocked. Nice decor. The view from the back porch and fire pit alone are worth booking this property.

Great place to stay, views are lovely. Nicely equipped. Do not count on using the grill, unless it has been replaced. Needs a deep cleaning of blinds, etc.

Breathless is the cleanest rental with so many accommodations. There is everything you need in the kitchen for cooking. Back porch is nice and the view is beautiful. Would rent this again!
