Adorable home. Perfect for a small family or two couples. Cleaning people late in arrival but owner quick to respond and remedy the situation.

We had a great time at the cottage! It was perfect for a family of 4. There were even puzzles and games to keep the kids busy. We swam off the dock every day and enjoyed family dinners in the outdoor space. We look forward to coming back!

my grandchildren and I came for a long weekend visit for fun and to visit my aunt at her camp 5 minutes away. We were totally delighted!!! the house fit us well, it was simply but well appointed, the children were super excited and vowed we must come back.

We really enjoyed our stay in Bomoseen- it was only about a 45 minute drive from Killington and the home itself is very cozy with everything as expected from the listing. Loved the views of the lake from both floors!

Very cozy home. If you had any questions hosts answered in just a few minutes. The home had everything you possibly needed and wasn’t too far from restaurants and ski mountains. Very clean home and safe to say the view was just amazing!

Bomoseen was exactly what we needed for a long weekend of relaxation and visiting our daughter at Castleton. The owners were extremely accommodating and the rental had everything we need to make us feel at home. Would definitely recommend this rental and will be at the very top of our list for the Castleton area!!

Charming rustic lakeside home, great view from the main living area. Lovely side yard area with a grill & table/chairs. Home is exactly as advertised and hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend.

The property was immaculate. Very nice lay out of the living space and outdoor patio area. The only negative for me was the water access, I have spine/walking issues and the incline to reach the water was extremely difficult. Despite that, we had a wonderful time!

We loved our time at this property! So relaxing with great views and all you need for a comfortable weekend, just don’t forget towels and blankets! We really enjoyed the private dock which allowed our friends with a boat to pick us up and drop us off easily.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and well-equipped. We used the kitchen and grill and swam off the dock! We had a small issue in the middle of the night and the owners responded within 5 minutes. They were helpful and kind. The sunsets were amazing each night we were there. We plan to come back!

Our stay at this property was great! We were located between Vermont ski mountains and New York ski mountains. This was a great place to come home to to wind down and relax from our days out in the snow. The description was exactly as we found it. The only downside was needing to bring our own bed sheets and towels since we were flying, but we made due. We would highly recommend this house for any stay. The view of the lake in the morning was such a great start to the day.

Great Family Escape

Our family of 4 had an amazing time at Lake Bomoseen this week. The pictures can’t quite capture how great the house and location are. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay in Vermont on a lake this is a great option. The location is extremely quiet and relaxing. We met and talked with some of the full time neighbors that were very friendly. We brought our boat and the weather cooperated so we spent every day on the water. We hiked, biked and boated, fished and swam. For food, we went out to eat and cooked at the house both inside and outside on the grill. When we needed a break from the heat and sun we would rest in living room and binge watch some TV shows. The kids got hooked on NCIS. The entire time we were there we couldn’t stop commenting how cute the house was and how great the location was. We’ll definitely keep this at the top of the list for summer trips to Vermont. Jeanne and Charlie were great to communicate with, check in and out was super easy and paying through the app was seamless. Thanks for opening your home to us! We had a fantastic experience!
