About this house rental
Townhouse Tennis #17 is a nicely decorated end unit townhome. Guests feel right at home on the island with this open floor plan & 2 story layout. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed. Beautiful golf views, quiet townhome, perfect for relaxing, riding your bike or playing tennis. This home has a king in the upstairs master, another king in the downstairs master, a queen bed in third bedroom plus a twin bed in the upstairs bonus room. Shipyard is a gated community and this townhouse is just inside the Pope Avenue entrance. Beach parking is available within Shipyard Plantation at the Shipyard Beach Club. Take advantage of the bike/leisure trails that wind throughout Shipyard. Guests enjoy easy access to the Atlantic Ocean as well as the Sonesta oceanfront resort. Those choosing to relax closer to home enjoy the lagoon and golf course view from the first floor patio or the secluded on-site swimming pool. For avid tennis players, Townhouse Tennis III has private courts for the sole use of owners and their guests. The Shipyard Golf Course has a unique combination 9, 18, or 27 holes available for play.

The unit was beautifully decorated and was located on the golf course but also convenient to the beach with private access for the community. It is accurately described and well maintained which provided many opportunities for rest and relaxation.There are many restaurants located close to the property for when you choose to go out to eat. I would definitely recommend staying here again.

Really enjoyed the property. Had an issue with shower and dryer not working. Repair man was there within 20 minutes to fix it!

The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the back patio very much. The location is great...close to the bike path which we used a lot and easy to come and go in the car. We could have easily stayed there much longer! Our only issue was the dryer didn't work but luckily we had only washed one load.

The property had such a great open layout for our group. Close access to the bike paths and an easy bike ride to the beach. We enjoyed the beautiful back patio with lots of seating and the covered parking was plus. Very clean and check in process was so simple.

Nicely decorated, well equipped kitchen, lots of thoughtful extras that made it feel like home. Extra supplies, games, towels, pillows, blankets, a rollaway bed and cozy throws made accomodating 2 adults and 4 teens easy. Plenty of parking, an enclosed courtyard, large patio with tons of seating, some beach toys and chairs made the house comfortable and spacious. Excellent quiet location, great view of the golf course, easy access to a pool and tennis courts, and walking distance to bustling Coligny Plaza. Our teens were busy all day long with rental bikes, nearby beach access, and all the sports they wanted. We love the safe environment and friendly people. While there were a few small maintenance problems, the maintenance men came immediately and resolved everything. We will be back!

This was our first time not staying on the beach in HHI, but we were pleasantly surprised by how much we loved this place! Rooms were a nice size, beds comfy, beautifully decorated, and a great homey/beachy/HHI feel. The back patio has such a relaxing view that I'm afraid to even let everyone know about it here. Relaxing, swing view of the golf course over a large, shaded backyard was the perfect spot to chill during kid's naps. Very happy with our stay!

This was our third time having HH as our family vacation. Very pleased with all aspects of our accommodations as well as the Seashore Vacations staff. Have stayed in 2 other properties and this was my favorite. Didn’t know there was a swimming pool 50 steps from our door until we arrived but was pleasantly surprised about that as well. And, this property could technically be classified as a four bedroom place by counting the small room with the twin bed. Again, overall very pleased all around!

Staying at Shipyard is perfect. Quaint gated community with wide bike paths that lead everywhere. Wonderful private beach. Our townhome was fantastic and the staff at Seashore Vacations are the best. Anything you need, they are right there to take care of.

We enjoyed watching the turtles, blue herons, and gators. The property location was great for being pretty central to everything. We felt so at home that it has us wanting to live on the island. It’s very relaxing!

Wonderful townhouse. Plenty of room for our group of 5. Very clean. Great view of the golf course and easy walk to shops and restaurants at Cologny Plaza. The thing I love about Shipyard is that it is much quieter than other plantations. You can enjoy the beauty of Hilton Head without the hustle and bustle of traffic, noise and too much traffic.

Beautiful house, beautiful view!
House was very clean. 4 bedrooms were great, everyone had their own space. Back patio view of lagoon and golf course was incredible. Back patio was nice and relaxing. Living room and tv was very nice. Kitchen and dining area was very good and spacious. Pool was a short walk. Beach was a nice bike ride and a short drive. All that being said unfortunately the management company that managed our vacation was not a company that we would ever book a vacation with again. They took all the personable transactions we always had with the owners, into strictly business. We met the house cleaner at the villa. She was so nice and professional. She asked if we were checking in. We told her yes, she said great I’ll take care of your villa first and do your neighbors next, since they weren’t there yet. Went to lunch, came back and started to bring our luggage up to the Villa. When the evil Lenny the inspector showed up and yelled at us for being on premise, he was a complete jerk. He told us we weren’t allowed to be here and that it would be several hours before you could get in. And he wasn’t even that nice about it. We have vacationed in Shipyard for many years and always dealt with the owners , never a management company. Well never again. They also didn’t provide any beach chairs or umbrellas. Which other owners always had something. BBQ was a charcoal bbq. Which of course having not used a charcoal grill since the 70’s was a little rusty. It didn’t work out. Every other villa we’ve stayed in had gas grill. Which was great for quick grilling burgers and steaks. When I called the company about beach chairs and umbrellas. They told me they they just throw everything left by other renters in the garbage. Why?!!! Why not leave something if there usable. This was a beautiful Villa, but I will never rent it again because of the management company. Seashore Vacations. Stay away from management companies, just rent through the owners themselves. They treat you more like family , rather then like a hotel guest.

Property was very nice. We had plenty of room, location was great, parking was good. Furnishings were up to date it was a great place and will try to stay there again the next time we go to Hilton Head. Price to stay was not unreasonable.

This is a very nice townhome to stay at. Big, clean and great location. The one thing that you will need to make sure you bring is wall plugins for charging phones, ipads, etc. as there are only the standard plugs in the rental.

The outdoor area is great for simply relaxing and it was a bonus to have our car in the carport during the hot days! Beds were comfortable and it was in a very nice central location. There was plenty of room for everyone inside and outside on the patio. Our villa was very clean and nicely decorated and updated. We all felt very comfortable here. The pool was very close and we loved that we could go to the pool or the beach. Coligny Beach was closer than the Shipyard Beach, but we preferred Shipyard and could ride there on our bikes, about 1.7 miles. Seashore Vacations staff were all very professional and friendly and easy to work with prior to and during our stay. This is a really nice villa and being a corner unit that makes it even better. Location to restaurants and grocery stores is really good too. Be sure to eat at the Sand Bar just down the road. We all had a delicious meal there and enjoyed live music. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
