About this cottage rental

Cute Cottage on Sodus Bay with 2 bedrooms 1 bath. This cottage is separate from the main house and you have access to lawn in front of cottage and small beach. Also there is a dock to tie your boat up to or a public launch nearby. One bedroom with 1 queen bed and 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with twin over double. Also we have a rollaway for that extra person you would like to bring! Sodus point is known for its great restaurants and bars. You can walk to town in 7 minutes. Kids can feel safe going to town to get ice cream or to visit the park. Also close by is Sodus Point Beach which is great for long walks along the lake and pier. Great cottage for fisherman and families. Come in the winter for some great ice fishing! Use of 2 kayaks with property.
Fire pit is located on site(please bring wood)

This cottage can hold up to 7 people by requesting an extra cot and extra twin size bed. There is an extra charge of $20 per person per night that will be added for groups over 4. No Air conditioning, we have several fans

I stay at this cottage every year. It's the serenity that I need to let stress float on by. I like the peace & quiet, just listening to the waves crash in. It's a fantastic place to recharge. I look forward to visiting next fall.

Check in was very easy. The house was neat and clean when i arrived. I was up visiting family in town for Thanksgiving from Florida. All questions were answered in a timely manner. Definitely recommend this property and I will stay again in the future.

While our weather wasn't the greatest, the view was amazing. Communication with owner was excellent. We were able to use the firepit, walked around town and just sat on the concrete wall and enjoyed the view. Wish we could have kayaked, but too cold. Kitchen and eating area perfect size for family of 4. Only thing keeping this listing from a complete 5 stars is the fact that we're neat freaks and there were cobwebs in several corners and the bathroom fan.

The listing was exactly as described. Very spacious. The cottage had everything needed for comfort, including updated appliances. Restaurants are within walking distance. The views were amazing from every spot in the yard. We will be returning next year.

Great location and nice place. Utilized the beach for swimming and the dock for people visiting by boat. Spent a lot of time just sunning on the lawn (when it wasn’t raining!) Would recommend

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time visiting turtle cove to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Lots of fun things to do like visit the state parks and lots of good restaurants nearby. We would love to come back and stay in the future. :)

We enjoyed two nights on Sodus Point in the cozy cabin-look cottage right on the water. It was very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to local restaurants. We had a great unobstructed view of the water and sat on the patio both evenings; only issue we had was a desire for a larger more functional coffee maker in the kitchenette. Since the keurig did not work we went down the street and found a coffee shop instead which was totally worth the effort.

Amy is an excellent host. The cottage was so clean and comfortable. I came in from out of state and my family, who lives in the area, joined me over Labor Day weekend. The setting was gorgeous. My elderly grandma enjoyed the views, my mom and sisters relaxed around the fire pit, I got my cookout on, and my nephew played with toys in the green space. Lovely!!! Thanks Amy!

Walking distance to every thing you need and right on the water. Great swimming area right there and small beach area. We had an amazing time..

I went for a week with my friend. We had an amazing time and loved the area. The neighborhood was super peaceful and the locals are really friendly. The owner is really nice and responsive. I would definitely go back if I get the chance.

I rented this cabin for a couple nights for my boyfriend's birthday weekend. It was very clean and it had everything we needed. It was within walking distance of every place we wanted to check out in Sodus Bay and had it's own cute little beach right near the cabin. The weather wasn't the best to take the kayaks out or shoot the basketball, but we had an awesome view of the storms that came through. Definitely recommend!

Rented for sister in law's birthday. Great little spot within a 7 minute walk to restaurants, ice cream, convenience store, park... the place is updated, has its own private grounds and even a small beach area for the kids to play. Two kayaks were available to use as well! Great time, would stay again, no question.

This cottage was perfect for our weekend away. Newly remodeled, right on the water and close to everything. We enjoyed walking to the restaurants and the beach. We also hiked at Chimney Bluffs - about 20 minutes away.
