About this house rental

Recently renovated large home that is centrally located, to all the adventures, Keweenaw County has to offer! There is plenty of room for up to 8 guests to relax, from a day at the beach, riding ATV’s, or mountain biking in Copper Harbor! Trail #3 is about a block away, and is the ATV or snowmobile highway, to the Keweenaw! Mount Bohemia is about 25 miles away for some great back country skiing or snowboarding.

The house was a great fit for us. It was a bit bigger and more comfortable than what I thought it would be. It felt like a safe neighborhood and N easy drive up to Copper Harbor or down to Houghton. We would consider staying here again in the future!

The home is absolutely beautiful, the pictures on the listing do not do it justice! It is big and spacious and spotless. The decor is beautiful throughout. The location is great. The host was very easy to get ahold of and he was also very gracious when I told him that I accidentally ruined beyond repair a lid to one of the pans. I would definitely be staying here again when I come to the Keweenaw Peninsula.

The house and our experience there was far better than we'd ever expected. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for the week we were there, and though we never talked to them in person, we had no need to contact them since they'd thought of everything! Nice quiet neighborhood and close to Glacia, Slim's, and Mohawk Superette where you can get the best pasties in the Keweenaw.

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. I did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had everything I needed. We drove a pick-up without a topper and the space on the front porch was perfect to”store” our bag chairs and a couple of storage tubs we brought with us. Great proximity to all the places we visited. I would definitely stay here again.

Cute house. Comfy beds. Clean. Property description was accurate. This was our first Vrbo rental and it was amazing to have a larger space to relax. Mohawk is nicely located close enough to Houghton where we spent most of our time (MTU move-in) and all the other cool towns on the Keewanah.

This house is comfortable and full of charm! I am absolutely in love with it! We felt completely at home here with everything we could have possibly needed. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with lots of sights to see just a short distance away. This was our first time in the Keweenaw Peninsula, and were blown away with the beauty of the area and the fascinating history of the towns and the copper mines! The host provides a very detailed binder of information and attractions which was incredibly helpful. I can’t say enough about this wonderful place, it was less like a rental and more like staying with at the house of a friend!

We absolutely loved staying here! It was very centrally located to all the best the Keweenaw has to offer. It was clean, cozy, and David was very helpful with anything we needed. The house is walking distance to an amazing little cafe called slim’s. We will definitely be staying again!

The house was great for what we were doing, in the middle of Mt Ripley for the younger skiers and Mt Bohemia for the experienced skiers. It also had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. We really enjoyed it and would definetly return.

The house itself is beautiful. The area around it has everything you are looking for including easy access to trails and the main highway to go sightseeing. Our overall experience was wonderful. The owners are quick to respond to questions. The house is clean. The neighbors are very friendly. We had a great time!

This house was perfect for what we needed. We went at the end of September and it was cold and rainy for most of our stay. The heat in the old house worked great! I worked through most of the day, which required using the internet for email, meetings, and video conferencing with multiple other people. Never had a single issue getting online or remaining online. The house was perfectly located for getting us to where we wanted to go without having to drive forever to get there. (Copper Harbor, Brockway, Calumut, Gratiot River etc.) Or, if you want, just head out onto the back porch for stargazing. We haven't seen that many stars in a long time! (a few satellites and a shooting star to boot!) This was an amazing place to stay. We'll be back!

Everything was great. David was super quick to respond to all of our questions. We really appreciated all of the fans (it was in the 90's), the library of books, spaciousness, and how clean everything was. Also loved that we were walking distance to Glacia restaurant and Slim's cafe which both had great food and service. Thank you David! We will return.

Beautiful older updated home with a cozy "at home" feel. Lots of room for four overnight adults and day guests. Easy check-in and the owner was quick to respond to questions. Good central location to local sites in the Keweenaw.

We loved this house! Lots of space and extras touches. Comfortable beds and nice sheets and towels. My husband and son enjoyed the chess board. Could have used a cutting board and cookie sheet in the kitchen. (maybe I just couldn’t find it) Perfect location for hiking in the area - the fall colors were beautiful during our stay!
