About this house rental

You will love walking into this modern luxury cabin with two bedrooms, a hot tub, and screened-in living area. The screened-in area is our favorite all seasons of the year, whether enjoying the sunsets and views of the Spokane River during the summer, the gentle fall breezes blowing through the golden leaves of the aspen, the stillness and beauty during the cold and cozy winters, or the return of the numerous birds and rush of spring color. You will love sitting around the outdoor fireplace, relaxing in the hot tub, or taking a short walk on the trail through the lush forest of majestic firs, some that tower over 100 feet.

It is a perfect getaway for couples wanting to reconnect with each other and enjoy the beauty of Coeur d'Alene, as well as for a smaller family. Downtown Coeur d’Alene is 10 minutes away. The guest bedroom with bunk beds (twin on top, full size on bottom) gives the kids a comfortable place to call their own. It is suitable for adults as well, as long as you don't mind a smaller space and smaller beds!

Your hosts live down the hill from the cabin, making it very convenient should any needs arise. Don't worry, you still have complete privacy, nestled into the forest, hundreds of feet away from the hosts' home which is barely visible from the cabin. The cabin and hosts' home sit on 4 acres of property.

Please note: in the colder months between November and March, the outdoor propane heaters and fireplace are not adequate for comfortable dining on the screened deck. It is not enclosed during winter, so cold wind still blows through.

We have a no pet policy, but willing to make exceptions depending on the pets. Send us a message to inquire if you want to bring a pet. We do have a small fenced area in the back yard.

The pictures don’t do the property justice. The house was immaculate and very cute. The highlight was the covered deck with a view of the lake. The owners provided excellent communication. The location is great as it’s only minutes to any services or water you may want to access. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We woke to birdsong and sunlight filtering through trees. The comfortable beds and chairs provided rest and recuperation, energizing us for walks in nearby woods. Everything we could need was easily at hand. For cooking, cleaning, resting, playing, and learning. It felt like staying at a warm and kindly grandmother’s home. The hot tub was a special luxury that was enjoyable and rejuvenating. Sitting on the patio in the morning listening to diverse birdsong was a splendid way to start the day. We had not a single complaint but rather felt completely at ease and comfortable in this lovely home in a beautiful, peaceful setting. It was a pleasure and an honor to stay here. We highly suggest it to anyone seeking peace and quiet and comfort with quick and easy access to nearby towns and recreation.

It was a great, cozy spot! We mostly just slept there, but after we would come back from being in town, shopping going to dinner, we spent plenty of time in the hot tub. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One of the nights we door dashed some food, it was delivered to the main house, and as I was about to drive down, the food was being walked up the driveway. 11out of 10 from us!

I’ve stayed at a lot of vrbos before and have never left a review. But this place was so incredibly I just had to say something. By far the cleanest vrbo I’ve ever stayed in. The screened in deck was a game changer with the outdoor fire pit and heaters, we saw many deer, and a group of turkeys walked right on by. The hot tub was so clean and looked brand new. The host really knows how to make you feel welcome and right at home. I didn’t need to bring half the toiletries I brought because this place was stocked with anything you could think of! Honestly I thought the pictures looked good when I booked this place, but in person it was even more incredible. 10/10 best/cleanest vrbo I’ve ever seen, can’t wait to come back!

This is a cross between glamorous, high end house meets cabin. Nothing rustic about this place except the forest that surrounds it. Peaceful enough to feel away from it all but close enough to town to still enjoy the creature comforts of home. Wish we could stay longer than three days! The hot tub and deck were enjoyed each night after two long days at Silverwood.

We really enjoyed our time at this property. Hosts were attentive to our needs and the house was very nicely set up. Loved the blender in the kitchen for morning smoothies. We have stayed at many rentals, and this one tops all the rest. It was clean, very comfortable, and decorated nicely. The owner was immediately responsive to requests. Most rentals have a list of things to do at check out. We received a note from the owner, "nothing to do on checkout, just hope you enjoyed your stay. Screened in porch was the best in relaxion and comfort.

If you are looking for a quiet, private, mountain get away, with a scenic view that is far enough from downtown, yet conveniently located to great dining, hiking, and boating, this luxury cabin is the place for you. Spotlessly clean, yet very comfortable and homey. I can't wait to return.

House was beautiful! Spotless! Feels brand new. Completely as "advertised" and owners right next door so good communication if needed. Loved the location - remote, yet close and easy to get into town. Came with family after a long bike ride, but will be back for a longer stay. Really nice place!

We had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights. The location is amazing, situated on a hill with a beautiful view of the river. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. Beds are comfortable. Hot tub was a nice amenity. Ashlie has thought of everything to make guests feel right at home.

We came in town for a soccer tournament and this was the perfect place for our family. Amazing views, huge screened in porch, super clean, comfy beds and super updated and nice bathrooms and kitchen. Check in and out was a breeze. The owners were so easy to work with and accommodating. Hot tub was great too. Literally not one complaint to say about this place Would definitely stay again!

This property is incredible. It was the perfect get away that has everything you could want and need. This place was also incredibly clean and it smelled so good! We really enjoyed our time at this cozy getaway. It was a perfect location to get some peace and quiet and family time. The owners while kind and helpful were also unintrusive which is always appreciated. Check in and out was a breeze. It was nice that they took extra steps to keep the driveway clear because it could be quite tricky when it is icy. I wouldn't recommend it to an inexperienced driver during winter months, but it wasn't too bad. We loved the view of the river through the trees and making smores on the fire and would definitely stay again!

My family did Thanksgiving at Little Texas and had a wonderful time. The house had everything we needed and the hosts were very responsive to any questions or needs we had. Highly recommend this property and we will be back in the future.
