Bring the whole family to this exceptional home with lots of room for fun. Nestled in the quiet, rolling dunes on the 14th hole of the Nags Head Golf Links in the Village at Nags Head community, Destination-OBX: Soundfront is your place to unwind! Featuring wrap around porches, sunset, sound and golf course views, ample deck and patio furniture, pool and hot tub, there’s no shortage of places to kick back and relax.
House includes Village Beach club membership, 2 bikes, beach chairs and 2 kayaks, pool, hot tub, movie room, foosball table, shuffle board, standup multi-arcade.

Creating large meals are a breeze in our spacious, modern kitchen features 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, updated stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and plenty of pots, pans and dishes to serve up a feast! Our open concept floor plan allows your friends and family to relax nearby in the huge living space featuring a SmartTV, sound views, and gas grill on the top deck. The large dining table seats twelve guests and there is additional seating at the kitchen bar. There are 2 master bedrooms on this level both with king beds and attached private bathrooms. A half bath and elevator complete the top level.
Our eight bedrooms each feature an attached private bathroom. Each room includes a dresser and nightstands, linens and plenty of beautiful views. Five bedrooms include sliding doors which access the wrap around porches. We offer six king rooms, one room w two queens, and one room with two twin bunk beds. Our home comfortably sleeps 18.

Every level of the home is elevator accessible, helping move groceries or people. Our full patio with in-ground pool and covered hot tub offer options for both kids and adults to enjoy! Beyond the pool, you’ll find an enclosed outside shower, ample outdoor furniture, a shed stocked with bicycles, pool and beach essentials, and ample parking for your guests!

Our bonus rooms include a game room with a shuffle board table and free standing arcade, foosball table, SmartTV and full bar/kitchenette. Also on the lower level, the media room provides a special movie theater experience for eight! Retreat to the 2nd floor den, a perfect place to work remotely, watch TV, take in the sound views, read a book or work on a puzzle.

Guests have access to the entire home, with the exception of a few locked closets containing linen supplies for future guests or HVAC/elevator equipment.

While linens are furnished, and beds are made upon arrival, please bring beach towels for use at the beach pool and hot tub.

A few bikes and two kayaks are available as a courtesy and not a guarantee. Bring your your own helmets and ride at your own risk.

How do you get to the beach, you ask! Many options: 1) walk or bike the 1/2 mile to the Village of Nags Head Private Beach access. Parking, bathrooms, showers available. 2)Drive yourself to Village Beach Club (between Memorial Day and Labor Day). The club is a huge property with pool, kiddie pool, open bar and restaurant to meet all your needs while enjoying the ocean. 3)Drive to any other public beach access point. This home rents Saturday to Saturday.

This home was new to VRBO for 2022 season. You can see more reviews under my other property, ID #2186137. We have spent the last few years doing a number of upgrades in and outside our home. You will find very little carpet, as there is luxury vinyl plank throughout. The whole interior has been freshly painted. The wifi experience works well and every TV in the home is Smart, which will allow our guests to use their own apps for streaming. Bring your passwords!

We booked the house for our family Thanksgiving holiday and we were not disappointed. The home was clean, spacious, and modern. The location is perfect and the views are amazing. Each room had its own full bathroom, so, no waiting for use. The elevator was perfect for sending heavy luggage and items up to the kitchen on the third floor. Unfortunately, the bedrooms don't have their own televisions, but, that allowed the family to convene in the living room where we watched movies, played games, and bonded. Barbara, the owner is phenomenal. She was accessible and available at all times. If you want a well-maintained, spacious, and accomodating home, you have to stay at Destination OBX. As I said in the title, we will return!!!

This property did not disappoint us....it was everything as describe neat ,clean and well taken care of. The house was stocked with everything you could ever want. The location was perfect private quiet but close to stores, restaurants, shopping, the beach and walking trails. We had a awesome time and yes we would rent this house again and recommend it to others. Want to also acknowledge that the owner was more than helpful and assisting us with questions easy to work with. Our thanks to her.

This house was a wonderful place for our family reunion. We are an older group, and having the elevator and individual bathrooms was a big plus. The house is well laid out and we’ll equipped. The view is beautiful and the pool was great. Barbara was very responsive to our questions. I highly recommend this house and owner! Thank you for a great vacation spot! We hope to be back!

The house was the perfect spot for our family vacation. It was clean, well equipped, and provided everything we needed for a week at the beach. Our family also loved the pool, hot tub, theater room, and wrap around porches. Barbara is wonderful, responsive, and so helpful. I highly recommend!!

We completely enjoyed our stay. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. The weather was terrible during our stay, but the house provided plenty of entertainment. There is a theater room with a huge selection of movies, puzzles and games to play. While we couldn’t enjoy the pool ( it was cold and rainy).we did enjoy the hot tub. Barbara was friendly and took time out of her vacation to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!!

This house is perfect for our family! We have four generations coming now. The oldest was 87 and the youngest was 2 months. We've stayed at this house for years now. It fits our needs really well. The pool is great and used every day. Nothing beats sitting on the top floor porch overlooking the sound and seeing beautiful sunsets! The new owner was really great, getting back to us very quickly throughout the whole process! We will definitely come back again and would highly recommend it to any other large family.

Clean, well maintained house in a quiet location overlooking the golf course and the sound, and less than 5 minutes to shopping, restaurants and the beach. We loved the pool, hot tub, theater and multiple decks to relax and watch the golfers and sailboats. Would definitely stay here again.
