With four bedrooms and three full baths, this 3000 sq ft. vacation home sleeps 12 people on regular beds, including the kids room with two bunkbeds, bottom beds are queen size. After an active outdoor day, relax on the expansive deck or on the patio surrounded by the forest. Play a game of pool or ping-pong, watch a movie, play board games. It’s the perfect place for family gatherings, ski weekend with friends, anniversary, or special celebrations.
The Home: Gorgeous, impeccably maintained and professionally cleaned and sanitized non-smoking home on private 10 acres. Great room with vaulted ceilings and pool table, formal dining room, and fully equipped chef’s kitchen with all cookware, dining ware, appliances, plus oils, spices, coffee and tea.

Enjoyed our stay at the mountain lodge and would love to go back. It has a great game room in the basement that our family loved and plenty of room for all 10 of us. Kitchen is well stocked too. It’s in a good location close to Pinecrest, Twain Hart, and Sonora.

It was so comfortable and spacious. Bed and furniture were all comfy. Lots to do. Had fun in the game room and enjoyed the big porch. We had a wonderful time. The hosts were so communicative and accommodating. The cabin is so cute. The whole family loved it.

We had an awesome stay for my birthday weekend with family. The views were amazing especially when it’s snowing! The house is on 10+ acres so it is very private and feels secluded in the forest. Very cozy cabin feel and the house was very clean. Communication with owner was quick and easy. The location is perfect since it’s close to Dodge Ridge and a casino. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets to accommodate. Plenty of space for dining. The living room was a huge space and the game room was a plus for the kids to hang out. After sharing pics with friends and family I am already getting several requests for the link to stay here!

We had the best time during our stay and it was perfect for our family to wake up to on Christmas morning. We loved the large dinning room table that we were able to all sit around and enjoy meal times and games! The kitchen was beautiful and we even cooked a full Christmas Dinner easily in the space. The living room has large couches that everyone was able to relax, and everything was decorated so cute with Christmas Decor that made Christmas morning so special. The large game room down stairs was a huge hit between all the kids and adults! There was something for everyone, and the kids were never board. Each bedroom was large and slept our large group very comfortably. One highlight was the nice wrap around porch with an amazing view, and the large driveway that the kids could ride their scooters around on. The toilets even had heated toilet seats, which everyone enjoyed! We were very happy with our experience and would love to book again in the future!

This property is just perfect for fun! Lots of sleeping space (comfy beds too!) and a fabulous game room downstairs. The kitchen is large enough for multiple cooks with a double oven and fabulous cooktop!
The owners have thought of everything that guests might need - even extra snow boots in the garage, which we needed.
The views are spectacular and the almost wrap around deck is perfect! Tho there was too much snow for us to enjoy but it's there!

It was perfect for our three generation family weekend! Wonderful location! Plenty of room to play and sleep. Game room was great for all ages. Toys much appreciated for littles. We all fit at table and great seating in front room too for our group. Easy and quick drive to snow. We would recommend property and would love to go again in winter or try during summer. I absolutely loved our stay. From the living room that sat us all for family show time, to everything you need in the kitchen…to the house decor Beautiful furniture! Thank you for the Xmas decorations. Made us feel right at home. The awesome,,,awesome game room downstairs. The wrap around deck with breathtaking views. We even got a a friendly visit from a deer!! . Ken was a gentleman who takes care of business. Thank you Ken.

Every aspect of the cabin is warm and inviting and the Christmas 🎄 decorations made it even more charming. We had 8 adults and 2 children, plenty of room for us all. We woke up to it snowing and an inch of snow on the ground, it was magical.
Ken was a very receptive host and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be booking again next year

Clean, large, fully stocked and an ideal location within a forest but still close to the grocery store or restaurants. It's an easy drive in and out. No snow this time but Ken mentioned that the main roads are all plowed during the snow season, all the way up to the driveway. The driveway is spacious and level.

Can't recommend enough this incredible house for big groups. We had 10 (8 adults, 2 children) and had plenty of space for everyone. The house has every amenity you could think of from kitchen tools to extra towels/blankets/etc. The large living room is perfect for lounging around, the deck has a spectacular view of the valley, and the game room is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay, and Ken was very responsive to every question we had. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our second time staying at this property and it didn't disappoint! Beautiful large home with lots of room for everyone. The amazing downstairs game room kept everyone busy and the stunning deck views were enjoyed by all. The house is very well stocked and the owners have thought of everything. The actual town is only a few minutes away and Pine Crest Lake is a short drive. We will be booking again for next summer!!

Moose lodge
We enjoyed our stay at , what we now call the moose lodge. The house was listed exactly how it is. The game room was a HUGE hit. We played down there daily. Not far from town for dining or groceries. The view from the deck is amazing. We will be back for sure in the winter. Another fun trip for the memory book! Owner was super responsive too. Thanks Ken!

Quiet and Peaceful
This property was very clean and comfortable. Part of our group was off doing things meaning we were close to National and State Parks, while part of the group just hung out. The house has beautiful views and was a peaceful place to chill. The game room was great especially for our grandkids ages 6-14. There was regular communication with the owners which was good. If we head back to the area in the future, we will definitely rent this property again. It is a great price for what you get.

We had a great time at the property. Check in is smooth and the instructions booklet has great tips on thing to do around the area. The game room is amazing. Kitchen is well stocked. There is an infrared cooler which is fantastic as the grill is not impressive. Also a bit disappointed on the absence of cable TV . We were not able to watch NBA eastern final played on ESPN.

A trip we will cherish for a lifetime!
Great location! We were looking for a place that was not too far from the lakes and at the same time would be a short drive to the mountains for some snow activity. With a large group, we were looking for a place which was amidst nature and at the same time had amenities for a comfortable stay. The Wilderness lodge was the right choice! Everything about the lodge was more than what we had envisioned. We could see the tasteful decor and detail in everything that was part of the lodge. The family loved the kitchen area, dining, sit-outs and most importantly the game-room. I have never seen a more elaborate collection of board games and puzzles as we did at the wilderness lodge. Thank you Ken! We will be back again.

Lovely experience, incredibly well stocked and comfortable home. The view was gorgeous. We enjoyed hiking at Pinecrest Lake and and West Side Railroad Trail. Great restaurants nearby. Our teenager loved the game room - never seen so many game tables in one place. Fabulous spot for quiet weekend of respite!

Making Memories
This property was very clean and well stocked. The owners went out of their way to answer all of our questions. The scenery was spectacular! My family and had the best time ever and will have a weekend of fond Memories. The property was very well kept. The home was spectacular. Lots of room for everyone, beautiful view of the mountains from the the large windows. The game room was a huge success with my Family from the Pool Table to the Ping Pong Table to Air Hockey! Awesome Cabin w/ Stunning View!
The pictures do not do justice for this beautiful cabin! We were pleasantly surprised by how large the property and cabin was overall. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Even before the trip, Ken was very helpful and knowledgable about things to do in the area. Our group was able to spend the day skiing at Dodge Ridge and come back to a comfy cabin for dinner, followed by a selection of games in the downstairs game room! everyone loved the view of the forest from the balcony. It made morning coffee and an evening sunset feel magical.

Stayed with family, 3rd year staying here. We love it! Game room is always a lot of fun! Great house and great location! Went up to Leland snowplay and had an amazing time sledding. We will be back next year!

Perfect Mountain Getaway!
This cabin was amazing! We loved the spacious kitchen and living room. The master bedroom was huge! Water pressure was fabulous and no shortage of hot water in the shower. We spent hours hanging out on the awesome deck, soaking up the sun, laughing, and sharing good times with our friends. The cabin feels so secluded and private, yet it is super close to shopping and dining. The game room has everything you need for fun! I wish we could have stayed longer.
May I kindly recommend: labeling the light switches in the master bath, providing instructions on how to use the fireplaces, and some chairs for the fire pit?

Lots of space for the 10 of us. A two mile drive to the town of Twain Harte with a few good restaurants and cute shops. The dining/living room is surrounded by large windows with beautiful views of the trees.

Great location, nice property
If you want to get away from the usual fast city life, the this is the right place to go. There is a lot of space around the property for hiking and if you love indoor games they have quite a few indoor game setting or if you want to chill out doing nothing, there is a large deck, where you can sit enjoy the view and do nothing.

Beautiful Views and Family Fun!
This property is amazing, and the pics don't do it justice because it is much larger in person than it looks. Rooms are spacious and the living room is gigantic with a huge TV, comfy furniture and a great view. Beds were super comfy (though two grandsons ended up sleeping in the living room so they could catch the fantastic sunrise!), but I must admit the fav for the whole family was the game room which kept kids and adults busy for hours! We had no issues so didn't have to contact the Host while we were there but he was extremely helpful throughout the booking process. Kitchen had everything we needed and the whole house was spotless! We had permission for 2 family dogs but only one came up on Friday, and also went back home the same night (home is 1.5 hrs. away) as we couldn't get her to calm down (she was too excited with all of us in one place!) so we ended up dogless all weekend. Lots of places to take walks too! We all agreed we will definitely come back to this beautiful home!
