Sandyport is a community nestled in the heart of Nassau.
It's walking distance to the beach, nightlife, several restaurants and shops. There is an on site pharmacy, covid testing facility, gas station and more. It's a short car ride to downtown.
This location is perfect to spend your time at the best destinations on the island, where locals actually go. Within a 1-2 mins walk from waterfront restaurants ranging from traditional Bahamian, to Italian pizzeria, Fish & Chips, to Indian and sushi cuisines. On the same walk pass by a wine store, liquor store, gourmet ice-cream parlor, church, bank, convenient store, gym, and Bon Vivants, the most popular craft cocktail, cigar, eats and coffee bar on Nassau.

Getting around Sandyport is easy as the area is very walkable. Bird scooters are available and easy access to taxis, rental cars or scooters and ATVs. There is also free street parking right outside of the residence. If you care to get in a car or take a taxi, they’re readily available and you’re only 5 mins from Bahamar, Nassau’s hottest casino, 10 mins from the Cable Beach Caves to explore, and 15 mins from Ardastra Zoo, The Cricket Club, Bahamian conch stalls at Arawak Cay, or the world famous shark dive at Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas. Approximately 20 mins from downtown.

Beautiful home in Nassau away from the cruise port. The twisted lime restaurant next door had great food and was very convenient. The only issue we had was figuring out how the AC worked. It was 84 degrees when we arrived and it took quite some time to cool down. It was a nest unit so it would automatically turn off when it detected that no one was there. Once we were able to fix that with the property owner, it stayed cool and we were able to enjoy our stay.

The condo was very nicely decorated and super clean, except the shower doors fall apart when you try to open the doors to get in or out. It's simply NOT safe and should be addressed ASAP. The condo is very close to Twisted Lime Restaurant which blast music from the time they open at around 12 pm to 12 am.

The property was great and just as described and shown in photos. I was a bit worried about parking but most times we were able to find a park close by. The main bathroom in the master bedroom was a bit disappointing as the shower pressure wasn’t good, the shower doors seemed broken and it was just small in general. The last thing we missed was a full length mirror. Katherine was very friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend this place to someone else.

Katherine our host was very responsive whenever we needed something. The master shower door needs replacing and I understand the host is trying to get it repaired. Limited replacement parts available in Bahamas !!

I love the location and there was a resturant next door and convenient store around the corner. The beach was across the street. The only issue I had was the shower door in the master bedroom continue to fall off track so I had to fix itn everytime I showered. The vent above the microwave continue to fall off too..

We had a wonderful experience at PrettyBird. The apartment is large and comfortable. The location is super convenient to anything you want to do on the island. The local amenities are a great bonus. And the property manager could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Prettybird end of March. I was traveling with my 2 children (2 & 4), husband and brother. The apt was charming, clean and felt like you were in a home vs a rental. Very convenient access to shops, nearby restaurants and amenities of Sandyport resort. The music at Twisted Lime - the sport bar right next door - was loud into later hours of the night but each of the rooms had a sound machine which helped muffle the noise if we were going to bed early so we did not find it bothersome but helpful to be aware of. Would definitely recommend Prettybird. Thanks for hosting us!
