Police House Cottages are a collection of charming 2 bed whinstone cottages in secure gardens, with open views across the village and ancient church.
Two superking bedrooms upstairs, each with private ensuite - open plan living/dining & kitchen opening onto patios & gardens downstairs.
Separate utility with boot storage, washing machine & tumble dryer plus extra WC

The cottage is like home from home, very spacious. Everything is provided for the perfect stay. We like that the cottage is carpeted rather than wooden floors and our little dog is happy because he hates walkin on wooden floors! Everyone is very friendly. The
and the cottages are situated in a great location to visit places like the sandy beach down the road or Bamburgh Castle and plenty of other places of interest.
We are already looking at dates for our next stay!

Beautiful, comfortable, clean cottage, near to the Beach and other attractions if you want them, home from home feeling the minute you step through thr door.
Cleaned to a very high standard, well equipped for all of your needs. Easy Bookable system, Extremely Friendly Staff, Close By Parking Facilities.

A very convenient location - in village of Embleton and to explore Holy Island, Bamburgh and a number of other fantastic beaches.
We made the most of the pubs around to enjoy the local food they were offering.

The cottage was perfect - charming to look at and well appointed, with a lovely garden. An excellent utility room for shows and coats and bags. The bedrooms were comfy and each had their own bathroom - always a bonus! Kitchen are had everything we needed. Sitting room area also really cosy. Just perfect!

The accommodation was really nice, plenty of room, car parking was really handy, as was the peace and quiet, really handy for something to eat out and ideal for visiting other areas.

The cottage was well equipped, good parking arrangements and was clean and comfortable. A stone’s throw to the nearest pub and a short walk to the beach. The village shop is open daily and is well stocked with local produce. Embleton Quarry Nature Reserve is worth a visit and is Creel and Reel seafood van near Bamburgh. Delicious lobster and garlic butter chips. Ideal location to stay with family friends and dogs.

George is great,he is the General Manager.Need anything,ask George.We go a couple of times a year.just love it.Housekeeping staff,3 Girls ,just amazing .Cottage has everything we need for a great stay,with Dog and 90 year old Mother and lovely and clean.

The location and setting is excellent for exploring Northumberland . It is close to places to eat , the bus stop and the beach . The accommodation is very clean and well-equipped . The two - bedroomed cottage had 2 en-suites +a downstairs toilet . The utility area is useful for walkers . We were there in a cold spell and it is was nice and warm in the cottage . Also nice to be able to take the dog .

we love the cottages and can’t wait to come again. we tell others about the location and roominess. they are clean and comfortable and the cleaning staff are nice and friendly. my wife’s sister and family stayed next door. great for dog owners.

The cottage is very comfortable and practical. The village is lovely. We enjoyed 2 evening meals at the hotel and the pubs are lovely. The beach is easy to get to and the weather was very kind to us. This is our second stay here and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

We stayed at the end of February and the cottage was warm and cosy. The nearby Village Shop was well stocked with lots of good things to eat. We enjoyed both costal and inland walks every day. This was our second visit and I hope not our last!

The cottage was very comfortable, ready on time and decorated for Christmas which was a lovely and very welcome touch. Its a perfect location for the village and walks on the wonderful beach. Would recommend highly.

Location and accommodation was perfect central for exploring Northumberland and walk to Embleton bay beach with stunning views was a highlight would highly recommend.

It would be very helpful to have one of the bathrooms have a walk in shower, I have elderly parents and they can’t get into the bath/ shower.

The cottage was well equipped, comfortable and very quiet (there were neighbours on both sides, but we never heard them). We had a minor problem with plumbing, and this was dealt with within minutes of us raising the issue

It was warm and comfortable with lovely furniture and everything we might need in the kitchen. Especially liked the utility room where we could leave our walking boots and coats.
We had a slight problem with the oven but George came and sorted it in minutes.

Overall it was a magnificent place to spend a few days whilst exploring Northumberland.

A fantastic cottage, immaculately presented in a fantastic location. Great base for exploring up and down the coast to Craster, Low Newton and beyond. Great, quality, facilities in the cottage - our second stay here and will definitely stay again.

Location very good, both rooms super king’s wuth ability to separate to twin and both en suite. Good facilities and all round perfect for what we needed
