ideal summer vacation home for families and friends who enjoy the sun, surf, and sand. This five-
bedroom, three-and-a-half bath beach charmer can accommodate up to ten guests comfortably, which
makes it the perfect place to create lifelong memories with the kids and grandparents.

It’s beachy interior décor and Cape Cod -style shaker shingle exterior is reminiscent of what Sandbridge
affectionately terms “Beach Boxes,” which simply means these are the homes that helped put
Sandbridge on the map as one of the top beach destinations on the Eastern Shore.
The wraparound deck is the perfect place to enjoy early morning coffee while capturing the spectacular
sunrises Sandbridge is known for. Or, after a day at the beach, relax, unwind, and dine al fresco as you
savor the equally breathtaking sunsets.

This property is perfect for several water-based activities! It is located directly on Bass Inlet, which has access to the bay, if you are interested in bringing or renting a kayak or other items for your stay. We also provide a gas grill that truly enhances the opportunity to enjoy your weekend outdoors!

Our little piece of paradise is private, but there is a lot to do both in and around Sandbridge. In addition
to a variety of gift shops such as the Sandbridge Island Restaurant, Zeros Subs, Jose Tequilia's or Baja Bar & Grill Restaurant! The fishing pier and Little Island public beach access point & parking is only a 4-minute drive from your location. The pristine beach is perfect for shell-seeking, surfing and all things fun-in-the-sun related.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice and very roomy. Plenty of rooms for my family. We chose this home to host our group of friends and our growing families. We had 9 adults, 1 child, and 2 infants! Our group was pleasantly surprised with the amount of space and accuracy of the listening. The beach is walkable and the chain grocery stores are within a few miles from the home. It can be hard to find enough bedrooms/beds in a home without someone staying on a couch. This home provided plenty of space and privacy for our group! No hesitations to book again or recommend to others!

Overall the stay was very nice. We had a group of 12 and enjoyed all the different places to hangout/lounge. The screened porch was a nice quiet place to chill, but only with the sliders open for the breeze. Ping pong and foosball in the garage was fun. Used the dock everyday for kayaking! A short walk to the beach. The only downfall like other reviews was the number of bathrooms, but we made it work. At least there was a nice outdoor shower. Would rent again :)

Great stay, location. The coffee make needs to go. lot's of good memories from this stay. The close proximity to the beach was nice. The grounds were great and we has plenty space. The realty company was very friendly and responsive. The property was clean and well organized. The location is great for families and friends. Enjoyed it!

Property was as advertised! Large and plenty of space for all family members! The only con is the upstairs that has 4 bedrooms to 1 bathroom, but it’s just a minor inconvenience. Property manager and staff were very helpful when a minor issue came up!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Celtic Sands was a super choice for our first family beach week in 5 years. As life long OBXers we were most impressed with the beach cottage style of the house and the easy walk to the uncrowded beach. The house was very clean, nicely furnished, and the kitchen was extensively equipped. We appreciated the extra refrigerator, grill tools, beach chairs, and the outside shower. Access to the house and the back yard through the garage was was wonderful. The kayak dock was especially nice for our kayakers who enjoyed paddling along the canal to Back Bay. We loved Jose Tequila's for lunch, although parking was minimal. The back deck was a favorite spot as was the sunroom (in the early a.m.) We would have been able to appreciate the view from the deck were it not for the tree (infested with insects) blocking much of the view. Although the house was a great fit for our family, there were a few things that would have made us more comfortable. Having only a few hooks on the wall in the bedrooms with no closets was not sufficient. An armoire in those rooms would help. Only one bathroom upstairs to serve four bedrooms, was difficult and having no lock on the door made for numerous awkward moments. The same is true regarding no lock on the powder room door on the main level. The extra full bath on the bottom floor was very helpful when everyone needed showers at the end of the beach day, but again no lock. All in all we loved the house, but the no lock bathrooms were a deal breaker for some of our family. Put locks on those doors and we will be back!

We held our 3rd annual company beach/fishing getaway at Celtic Sands. The house exceeded all my expectations. All the guest (12 of us in all) had a wonderful time. The accommodations for that many people was spot on. The spacious kitchen to the large dining room to the back deck. Only thing I would suggest is an upgrade to the hvac system ( house wouldn’t cool below 70), and to remove the cherry tree in the back yard that blocks the gorgeous view of the back bay. We will be staying here again next year

This place was perfect for our group - my husband and I, our 4 teen/young adult boys and 2 of their friends. Plenty of space for everyone, a great layout, easy walk to the beach, dock for the canal (we rented kayaks). We had a great time and would definitely rent again!

We really enjoyed the house. It was very comfortable for our family. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and pots/pans. There were lots of different hang out areas and comfortable spaces. The bathroom situation isn't amazing - 4 bedrooms on the top level with just one full bath. But we made it work. The other downsides to this home were fairly minor - Very thin blankets on a few of the beds, more like 2 sheets and no blankets so a few guests were cold when a storm blew in. The kitchen had no dishwasher soap, which made me question if the dishes were clean when we arrived. The cleaners were there early, sitting in the driveway waiting for us to leave. Very awkward. Even knowing these things, I would rent the house again. It was very comfortable and fit our needs well.

My wife and I rented Celtic Sands so that we could participate in a family reunion in Sandbridge. Of the 3 houses rented, Celtic Sands was the best. Another family had a pool at theirs, but we had a fire pit and additionally had a large porch, both of which came in handy when the family came over to visit. At my sister’s rental home, they had to launder the sheets themselves because the cleaning people were told to come at 5 pm, but my sister’s family had arrived earlier. At my brother’s place they felt the home was a bit old, not run down, but felt a little worn at the edges. In the final analysis Celtic Sands came out on top when compared with the other 3 houses, and we were very comfortable. The code on the front door lock made it easy for us to enter our first day. The rooms were clean, though we did start with one bed having no sheets. We received a new set on Monday when the rental office opened after receiving a message prompt over the weekend asking us to message back if we were missing anything. Very simple, very easy. Having the kitchen and porches both on the second floor made for better views of the canal. Access to the canal with a kayak would have been easy, but more importantly the beach was so close, and we went there often. All in all it was a great place and we’d be happy to rent it again. *After you've registered with the property's rental agency be sure to call and confirm that they have received your registration form.

This property was very clean and an excellent location to enjoy both the beach and canal. Our family had a great time kayaking and visiting the beach. On the downside, the air conditioning unit could not handle the number of rooms so many of the bedrooms were warm. Fans helped, but future renters should be forewarned.
