This is a South Mission Beach stunner with sit-down, third-story ocean views, sweeping views of Belmont Park, new flooring, and lots of upgrades. This recently updated condo features a bright and open floor plan, an updated kitchen and baths, vaulted ceilings, skylights, ocean view deck, a side-by-side two-car garage, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and much more! The kitchen features brand new appliances and caesar stone counters. The home is fully equipped with all your household essentials; basic cookware, a standard drip coffee maker, all linens, beach towels, all applicable detergents and soaps, and a starter pack of paper products.
This home encompasses the second and third floors of the building. The top floor features the ocean view deck, living room, kitchen, dining room, and primary bedroom with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom. Please note, the fireplace is not operational. The second floor features two additional bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two separate twins, and a full bed. There's a shared full bathroom and a laundry room on the second floor as well. The two-car side-by-side garage is on the ground floor, along with an outdoor shower to rinse off in after a day at the beach.
Mission Beach is San Diego’s lively take on the classic boardwalk beach town with over five miles of waterfront boardwalk, trendy shops, restaurants, and Belmont Park, a beachfront amusement park featuring the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and an arcade. Mission Beach is just a few minutes to Sea World, 15-20 minutes to The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, San Diego International Airport (SAN), and downtown San Diego. Belmont Bungalow is located in South Mission Beach, about a mile north of Belmont Park. This home is two houses away from Mission Bay and just across the street from the ocean.

My family loved staying at this home. Walking distance to just about everything. The condo was clean and ready to go. The bbq is in need of a replacement as there are large rusty holes where the flame comes out. We still made it work for dinner. I would definitely recommend it.

The location is perfect right by the beach and walkable to Belmont park and restaurants. The home was perfect in terms of amenities, cleanliness and location. Only drawback is a small garage, you cannot fit a large suv. A definite recommend.

Comfortable, modern, garage space was nice. Proximity to the beach was excellent. The house was full of ants. It wasn’t a big problem but it was annoying to deal with throughout the week.

The house was very clean and comfortable. The view was amazing and proximity to the beach meant daily beach walks. The kitchen had everything we needed to have home cooked meals. We were a few forks and wine glasses short of perfection. We would recommend this place to friends, and we will return.

PROS:1. Beautiful location/view stunning sunsets w/o anyone in front of you! 2. Lovely layout w/ comfy beds and NICE recliners 3. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, kids toys and umbrella 4. Close to so many things walking distance. This deck offers you quite a bit of privacy from neighbors!
CONS: We live on acreage in Northern CA so very quiet. The NOISE was the toughest part. The condo is in flight path, so airplanes started around 615am , scattered throughout day and they continued until 1115pm some nights. Top floor where master/living room is hears it the most. Then 2x we had LOUD dumpstes and street sweepers at 7am...It got to be comical because people WERE NOT the problem...If you don't mind early morning and late night wakeups you are fine! This truly was the only drawback for us.:)

Best Location you can get!
My husband and I along with our 2 yr old and 7 month old boys enjoyed our stay last week. We couldn't of asked for a better location - steps from the ocean, and a nice park separating us from shops, restaurants and activities. Across the main road is a short walk to the bay and playground. We rarely had to drive anywhere. We were worried about the construction warning at the time of booking but it wasn't an issue at all. The place itself was clean and stocked with everything we needed. A cooler would have been nice to have to bring to the beach but we managed. My in-laws stayed at the "Belmont patio" which was close enough to have conversations on the patios. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

A Very Nice House for your Vacation
The house was located in a perfect location. A two minute walk to the beach, short walk to Belmont Park, shops and restaurants.
The garage could fit up to two cars if needed, plus you have free parking in front, across the street.
The house itself was spacious, great view of the beach, the furniture was very comfortable and the beds were comfortable as well.
There were TV’s in each of the three bedrooms and one in the living room.
We definitely will be staying here again.

The location was nice and clean. However, nothing worked. The Internet didn’t work. The dish washer was broken. Multiple outlets didn’t work and there were electrical issues. We tried to get someone to help us but the communication took a very long time and ultimately they were not able to fix anything.

This condo is in a busy area with plenty to do. Parking is a bit of a hassle. The garage is too small for large vehicles and you have to compete with people living in their cars for parking anywhere else. The condo is clean and the management is good at communicating with you. The house is in need of some maintenance such as the front door that is loose, cracked windows in shower and just needs so touch up painting.

Okay Stay
This condo is in a busy area with plenty to do. Parking is a bit of a hassle. The garage is too small for large vehicles and you have to compete with people living in their cars for parking anywhere else. The condo is clean and the management is good at communicating with you. The property was closer to the beach than we thought! Great location and lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The interior of the property was very nice, clean and spacious. Couple of things I’d suggest:
Power wash or sweep stairs and porches often and make sure ALL outdoor lights are working. It was a bit scary walking up and down the stairs at night. We had to use our cellphone flashlight. Other than that, rental was nice and would stay again.

The beach is literally out the door so you don't have to think twice about hopping back and forth for lunch, or more beach equipment while you enjoy your day at the beach. Although it's not guaranteed to be there, the hosts do include some beach toys, body boards, beach umbrellas and chairs in the garage for use and it's a great convenience! You can just drop by with your family/ friends and not have to lug along your own beach stuff all the way from your home! The primary value here is if you spend a lot of time at the beach, for other things, the drive downtown/ to other places in San Diego can get tedious if you have to run out repeatedly. Also when compared to the hotels/ resorts in the area, remember that this is on the actual ocean facing beach, not some bay/ back water so the waves and the water are the real deal and a lot more fun! Real parking in the garage is a god send in this area, it's next to impossible to find public parking elsewhere. Although actually parking two full size cars (sedans /suvs) in there might be one helluva feat! As a subtle bonus, because of its location, right next to Belmont park, there's always cop cars in the area and it “feels” more secure.
