Relax place/ Место для уединённого отдыха

Давно хотела побывать в этом отеле, поскольку отель расположен, скажем так, уединённо. Рядом только виллы, как частные, так и для размещения туристов, но они все небольшие, поэтому народу совсем мало, тихо и спокойно.... Территория отеля маленькая, но ухоженная. Посторонних не пускают, поэтому никто не надоедает со всякого рода услугами, типа экскурсии, сувениры и пр. Будьте готовы к тому, что рядом нет никакой инфраструктуры (я знала об этом, поэтому для меня это не было сюрпризом). Либо пешком до Ахунгала бич, либо на тук-туке.

сняла звезду за месторасположение, но только потому, что очень много бездомных собак рядом на пляже -для меня это критично и за отельный ресторан (мне их кухня, честно говоря не очень понравилась, а также в ассортименте много пиццы, пасты, сэндвичей, которые я могу и в Москве поесть)

Pleasant but nothing exceptional about it.

The location was perfect and the beach was super clean. We only had breakfast from this place and it wasn’t that impressive (the spread wasn’t that big and taste wise also not exceptional). If the dinner and lunch are the same way, it wouldn’t be worth paying 3k+ for a meal here. The staff was supee helpful and pleasant.

The location and beach are perfect for calm vacation

the stag is too slow the beach boys outside are horribly annoying and offering the hash … outside the hotel is nothing

Great place

We felt very welcome here. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Due to covid hotel was almost empty. It is located right on the beach and has nice swimming pool. We loved our room as it was spacious with great sea view and balcony. They even prepared breakfast for take away for 3.00 am on the morning. In the end we even booked one more night.

Food is average and you have to wait really long to get it from a la quarte. Maybe there is not enough staff in the kitchen. For example our breakfast took alnost 2 hours until we received everything. Oh and better dont order eggs benedict as you will receive boiled egg :) However overall we loved this place.

Very relaxing & friendly but a bit basic & not 5*

Great location & views, very helpful staff. Very relaxing.

It is not a 5* hotel by any measure except perhaps the location & view. The rooms are a bit sparse & not 5* level, especially the bathroom. The small gym was a big disappointment for a 5* hotel.

Very bad hotel

Only good thing was breakfast!!

I don’t know where to start. First of all, they charged 120$ from my credit card twice two weeks before my vacation. When I tried to get contact with hotel the receptionist just hang up the phone several times, when I explained the situation. Arrival they were just offering us all inclusive for the same price, what we didn’t want, also promised us to pay back after one week. And also they didn’t offer us any compensation about it. Maybe we are going to wait for that money forever. We went to swim in the ocean and there was beach boys running straight towards us, trying to sell drugs. Beach boys are very annoying and agressive in this hotel. We had room in the highest floor and couldn’t be without window shade, they were looking and staring in all the time. Hotel area is having security guards, but not much help, they don’t hold beach boys away. If you like to have calm, nice vacation, I do not recommend this “5star hotel”. In the dinner, we asked for 500g lobster from the menu, what cost 4750 LKR. Waiter said that they don’t have 500gr, they have 800gr and price was also bigger 8000LKR. We didn’t want it and then the waiter came back and said that chef found smaller ones. This looks like happened because lack of tourists. Prices were same high like in Europe. It was the worst hotel we have ever visited. :(:(
