Turnpike Cottage - definitely one to return to

Very comfortable and homely. The beds were lovely and had great night sleeps. Very clean and Tetbury looked lovely but did not get a chance to explore.

Cosy Cottage in Tetbury

A lovely welcoming cottage ideally located for a wedding at Tithe Barn. Comfy beds and everything we needed for a weekend away from home. Superb communication from the owners prior to arriving.

An excellent cottage, perfect for our family of 6.

Perfect location to attend an wedding at The Tythe Barn and to explore Tetbury. The cottage was wonderful, well fitted out and extremely comfortable. Elizabeth, our host, was super friendly and welcomed us into the property, she couldn't have done more to make our stay so good.

There is nothing I can think of that would have made it any better.

Perfect accommodation to relax and rejuvenate after Thames Path walk.

Self catering, but host also left ample provisions. Easy walk to town and local amenities. Charming and practical cottage for our purposes. Generosity and bonhomie of our host.

A wonderfully enjoyable weekend in a perfectly equipped and comfortable cottage, thank you!

The attention to detail and thought that Elizabeth has put into making guests feel welcome is second to none. Also providing things to save having to buy or bring for a few days eg washing liquid, tea bags etc plus extras beyond the norm, milk wine biscuits fruit and breakfast cereal etc were very much appreciated. Very clear instructions snd communications prior to arrival about the gate and the doorkeys were invaluable. The people in the different establishments in Tetbury were also very welcoming, exceptionally helpful and accommodating too. A lovely place to visit.

Nothing other than the road is a little noisy being a main road but that’s the location and cannot be changed. However I don’t think we were made aware of that, it may be upsetting for someone people.

Turnpike Cottage is a real find and we highly recommend. Great location, a lovely and well looked after property and an extremely hospitable host in Elizabeth. We would have had a wonderful time anyway but she really went the extra mile to make us feel looked after. Thank you!
