Better than expected

Room very clean. Food great. We only encountered one member of staff, who was very helpful and friendly.

Parking was scarce. Car park very small street had to park on side street. But it is the only negative.

Not a 3 star experience more 1 star

Good location. Modern rooms and well equipped. Staff on duty positive and aware of issues with room, TV, meal service and door lock security. Staff did make amends by offering a range of one day free breakfast and 2 free drinks each - appreciated and understood not staff on duty issue but an organisational one and one of poor communication by hotel management team.

The breakfast was awful. Poorly cooked and not as described on menu. Advised that breakfast was only available from 0900 hours as limited staff. We were only two for breakfast on Monday 4March 2024. One member on staff on duty to take order and make. No sausage or has brown available but no extra of anything else to supplement. The self service area for fruit juice, coffee/tea, cereal and toast was at bar area. The bread was a co-op loaf still in wrapper. Tea/coffee all instant and from hot water jug. This was in no way an exceptional breakfast as described on marketing material and certainly not a positive experience. Advised on arrival that kitchen would eb closed for Monday evening - no prior warning for this. In bedroom TV did not work and relied on guest putting in own account for BBC and Prime. Heating failed to work and given replacement heater that worked perfectly but surprised no attempt made to correct fault. Room not serviced in any way other than addition to tea supply and milk on day 2 - no cleaning of room, no linen change, no waste removal. This was not a 3 star experience

Staff were lovely. Cooked Breakfast 🍳 excellent by new start young man. Good car parking. Excellent pub at night with good food 👌 thanks

For a quick overnight stay for work. It worked out perfect. Really friendly staff and locals.

Food was reasonable Comfy room Nice bar. Friendly staff. Especially Zoe who sorted my room and was very welcoming.

Coffee was pretty poor at breakfast.

Great place, perfectly situated for Rewind Festival

Service was above and beyond. Person in charge managed to organise a 6 seater taxi for us to take us to Rewind Festival as we sat enjoying lunch. This was a huge benefit to our day at the festival.

Unfortunately, a few items weren't available for my vegan breakfast. The chef was good enough to come over and explain and apologise. He still managed to scrape together a decent tasty meal.

Friendly, clean and ideally positioned.

The breakfast would show up the major hotels. There was plenty to eat to set you up for the day and hot which is usual as a lot of hotels i have stayed in the food is tepid and/or dried out despite their attempts to keep it warm. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable and welcoming place to stay

Super comfy bed, warm and cozy room lovely staff and the room, communal areas and the bar / restaurant were immaculate. The full breakfast was superb - not even slightly greasy, perfectly runny eggs.

Convenient, surprisingly great rooms and helpful staff

I travelled to visit a friend in Scone who had recommended the Scone Arms. It was only a short walk to have dinner with my friend., so location gets a big plus. Staff were friendly and a pint after in the bar was great. Breakfast is good

A very brief but satisfactory stay, which met our needs. I would be happy to go back.

Room was excellent. Food was good. Parking was limited. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Food menu was a bit limited. Getting a suitable table was also a bit of a challenge.

I would go back again.

Staff were polite and helpful and the bar meals were good value. Rooms have been renovated to a good standard.

Hot water didn't come on until after 09:00 in the morning, but this was perhaps a temporary glitch

Exceptional

Staff are super friendly and couldn't do enough for you, food is excellent and extremely good value for money, rooms are modern, immaculate and very comfortable with temperature controls to have them as warm or cool as you want and having a well stocked mini bar available is just the icing on the cake.

Nothing, couldn't fault this place on anything.

Perfect in every way, was made to feel at home from the moment we arrived

Breakfast was fantastic as we're the meals in the bar. The staff were so helpful and professional, cleanliness was amazing hats off to you all.

Great value. You’ll pay a lot more for a lot less elsewhere

Warm welcome. Choice of good bar or restaurant. Impeccably clean,fresh room, comfortable bed,food was superb. Price wise we’ve paid more for a lot less. Due to Covid we’ve used a lot of staycation hotels in Scotland for short breaks. Without doubt this is one , if not the best
