The cottage is immaculate, well stocked with everything you could possibly need! Very quiet neighborhood..in walking distance of several cute restaurants. Beaches are not the Jersey Shore..as expected.. but able to set up a beach chair and relax. Many shells and rocks.. Donna, the host, was so kind and quick to answer any questions.

This wonderful property was exactly as advertised. It was clean and comfortable - stocked with all of the essentials, plus more. We didn’t get to spend a lot of time exploring the area as we were in town for Yale Commencement activities, but it sure was nice to have a “home” to come back to each day. I have always stayed at hotels previously, and I booked this place way in advance, so I was a little nervous about the entire process. The host, Donna, always responded immediately when I had any questions, which was very reassuring to me!

This is our second stay with Donna and Barry. Everything was perfect from the easy access to the beach to the spotlessly clean, fully stocked kitchen.

We so enjoyed our stay in this small, but well appointed and very comfortable, beach cottage. Very convenient and affordable. Donna was super helpful and responsive. The unit came with four comfortable beach chairs and a beach umbrella large enough for two. We recommend going to the beach between Bridgewater and Waterbury avenues, steps away from the cottage, rather than Walnut Beach.

Loved this seaside cottage. It was perfect for a peaceful getaway. You can walk to a cute little ice cream shop, breakfast deli and lobster/seafood shack… all were fantastic. Neighbors were friendly and beach was great. House was well equipped and very clean. Donna was wonderful. We will be booking again.

This cottage is one of the best VRBO places I have stayed. Truly the most equipped kitchen ever! Extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable, pillows equally great. You can see the Water from the kitchen bistro table and go on the deck to enjoy listening to the waves. Felt very safe in the surroundings. The most appreciated feature of this property is the owner, Donna, was very prompt on responding to all my questions and concerns. Wonderful host. Great location for touring Yale campus also. Highly recommend.

Lovely little cottage, dog friendly, complete with all the necessities one might need. Comfortable beds, very clean and up to date! Can see ocean from back deck, about a 2 min walk on either side of the cottage to get there. Nice to hear ocean waves sitting on the deck at night. Went on the weekend and still pretty quiet neighborhood. Neighbors were great offering clams on the grill and clam chowder!! There are bikes and beach chairs for your use. Felt safe and comfortable!! We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was very clean and well kept. It's in a great spot, close to the beach and restaurants. The cottage is stocked with lots of supplies for your stay; kitchen wares, beach towels etc.

This cottage was adorable, very clean, in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, and close to the beach. We also enjoyed the peaceful sound of the waves at night from the back deck! Perfect cottage for our brief beach getaway and Donna was very accommodating in every way!

The place was well kept. Not much around except for ice cream. The little beach down the street was quiet and relaxing. The cottage has everything you need. We visited with our daughter who lives in CT, and it was a convenient spot. If you are out of state you will have to pay $40 to park at Walnut Beach. Nice shower!

We had an amazing time in Milford! The house was perfect for our short stay. We spent time walking the neighborhood where I grew up and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The beaches were beautiful and so close to get a lot in during our short stay. Thank you Donna for being such a welcoming host!
