Paradise on the Bay - Snead Island, Palmetto FL Relax in the hammock or fish off the dock on this waterfront gem on Terra Ceia Bay, with direct water access to the Gulf of Mexico. Or take a dip in the custom pool and hot tub premiered on Animal Planet's Insane Pools (with waterwall, firepit, fire feature and lightshow.) Enjoy the outdoor kitchen and bar with bbq, fridge, ice-maker, and sink. This rare Snead Island gem with access straight out of the kitchen or the master bedroom right into the pool or HotTub – no stairs. Beautiful heated pool and Spa with waterwall, firepit, and fire feature. Lanai area partially covered to offer some shade from our beautiful Florida sunshine. The dock is just a few steps further, where you can try your hand at fishing or simply soak up the oceanside air and you may see a dolphin or a manatee as well as star fish, sheephead, mullet, and snook. Also frequenting our property are pelicans, cranes, parrots, and osprey. Property has a back yard and lots of palm trees thru-out full of fresh coconuts. Located on Snead Island a small community where you can ride our included bicycles, also on the Island is Emerson Point Nature Preserve– map / info attached. Fishing, Observation Tower, and ancient remains. Go hiking on the trails or use the included Kayaks to experience a wide variety of coastal Florida wildlife and habitats. This large single story bungalow offers you the vacation you’ve been looking for your family or spacious enough for 3 adult couples to share. You will have access to the entire private residence. Pets are always welcome. If you would like to get off the Island, we are close drive to all the amenities - famous Anna Maria Island beaches and many more, shopping, Bradenton/Sarasota, and St. Pete's and Tampa are just a drive over the Skyway Bridge. The home was awesome. Very quiet neighborhood and close access to the walking trail. The pool/hot tub and bar is unmatched. Great for relaxing and taking in the million dollar view. Never got old drinking coffee and checking out the sunrise over the bay.

What a fabulous house. Pictures don't do it justice. When we arrived, we were greeted by 3 dolphins (who visited us everyday). We spent most of our time in the outdoor space, as it had everything we needed. The house was very spacious and lovely. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our recent stay at Cynthia and Todd's home on Snead Island. The property is convenient to Bradenton, shopping and restaurants. We stayed there with my parents and teenage son and enjoyed the stunning sunsets, water views and amazing pool/lanai area. Our hosts were generous with supplies including paper products and soaps/shampoos/detergents. A rare find these days. They even allowed us to leave extra and left over food in the fridge which we appreciated. They were very responsive to any questions we had and are genuinely nice people, who care about the guest experience. We hope to be back next year!

Friends and family stayed here for one week. Great property w a fantastic location. Wonderful pool and hot tub along w kayaks, fishing equipment and views! Property manager was extremely responsive. The house was clean but it a bit fatigued and should have been better prepared ie no personal items around and better linens. Highly recommended for a Florida vacation.

Group of friends had wonderful 8 days. We hired a boat and kept it on the dock, heading out by boat for lunch every day followed by hot tub and pool and then dinner at the house. The house was clean and well equipped and Todd was an excellent host. Would definitely go back again. We spent one afternoon in Sarasota and one in St Petersberg - both were easy drives. Great value for a large waterfront property.

If you want a relaxing stay with expansive waterviews, look no further! My husband and I along with his sister and daughter stayed at this home for a long weekend and had a great time. Home is spacious and well stocked so you don't need to run to grocery store to buy everything like others I have stayed at. Interior decoration is a little out of date but it really doesn't matter as you won't spend time inside at all - not with the beautiful lanai area to enjoy. Highly recommend!

We've been coming to the area for 20+ years to be close to family who live locally and found this to be amongst the very best properties that we've ever rented.
Communication with the owners before, during and after the stay was stellar with immediate responses on all topics and quick resolution of any issues (not to suggest that there were any major 'issues' - there were not).
The house is lovely and very well equipped with everything you need in every area - kitchen, bedrooms, bath, and even outside with kayaks, bikes, fishing equipment, etc. which are things we've had to rent separately in previous years. I hosted Christmas Eve dinner for my extended family and had everything I needed for prep and serving.
The pool area is amazing and even in colder weather than we would have liked for a Florida visit, we were able to keep the pool and hot tub at an acceptable temperature, which has been a challenge with previous rentals.
The house is beautiful inside and out - very highly recommend - unless you want it for the same weeks as our next stay ;)

You've seen the pictures! What else is there to say?! We wanted to find a home we didn't want to leave for a week so we could all recharge and reconnect before the new school year started...and we found it. The hosts were terrific as well!

We had a great time! The home is huge, and would be wonderful for a larger group or family. The pool is amazing, and the fire pit and fire tower feature really made it! We happened to be there in the middle of a heat wave, so we didn’t utilize it as much as we would have liked, but would love to return in a cooler time. The grounds were fabulous, with incredible plants, and we enjoyed the solitude to just relax, read and laze around. I would highly recommend this sweet home!

The pool and hot tub are even more impressive in person. It’s a great space to get enjoy with family and friends. The yard is very large and fenced in too. The grill and tv outside were also a plus! The inside of the house comes with everything you could imagine and more.
The only thing I would say is if you are planning to bring a boat I would consider the size first. Understand most people probably wouldn’t be bringing a boat. But the owners were very nice and allowed us to rent their boat lift. The tide, which they did advise us the day of check in, can be too low to use the boat at certain times but we were able to make it work. The boat ramp was 10 mins away (closes during certain hours), and the driveway isn’t optimal for maneuvering a boat trailer. Things that would have been helpful to know prior but again, if you aren’t brining a large boat it wouldn’t be a problem. Just a heads up for anyone that may be considering it.
The owners were very kind and responsive. If you’re looking to enjoy the area and a great pool days I would not hesitate to book this place!

Beautiful view of the bay! Pool was amazing. We kayaked in the bay with dolphins and manatees and ride the bikes around the island. The house is large and very clean. I couldn’t ask for better communication from the owners.

If this place meets your search criteria then you should lock it in! The pictures are accurate and represent the property well. Quiet and private neighborhood with amazing views of the water. and the pool and hot tub - INSANE INDEED!
Great sightseeing on the island (trails in preserve) and pretty easy access to Anna Maria (without the crazniess of staying on the island)
Owners/property managers were great and responsive - even popped over once to assist with a question.

We thoroughly enjoyed the property Paradise on the Bay. The outdoor area exceeded expectations and we spent a lot of time outside. Also, nice to be able to walk to the preserve. The views, sounds of the birds and overall serenity made for a wonderful time away.

We were looking for a top-notch property in Florida to take our family of 6 (kids age range of 15 to 21). We wanted to get out of the cold in the Midwest and this property gave us the perfect opportunity to stay in Florida. The property is beautiful. It is spacious, clean and we had more than enough room for our family. The location and the pool/whirlpool are the highlight of this property. The property is right on Terra Ceia Bay facing east. The sunrises were breath taking. Numerous times we saw dolphins swimming maybe 100 feet off the dock in the bay. The kids loved it. The pool and whirlpool are beautifully designed with some fun features. We spent a lot of relaxing time lounging around the pool in the sun. Perhaps, the best kept secret of the property is it's location on Snead Island. We love the outdoors and savored the hiking trails only a short distance from the property. Relaxing, enjoyment and great family time is what you'll get if you stay here. Todd and Cynthia were gracious hosts and very responsive to any inquiries. Highly recommended!

We have stayed at numerous top notch VRBO’s, hotels, etc. This was the best of the best. BEAUTIFUL, serene surroundings and incredible house, especially the lanai and pool. Hosts were superb in responding to any issues. Can’t say enough good things - we’ve already rebooked.

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. We had 6 adults celebrating 3 50th birthdays. The house is great with plenty of space. Very clean and a well stocked kitchen. However the real star is the outdoor living area. Great furniture with more than enough seating options. The outdoor bar is perfect with an ice maker, beverage refrigerator, and sink.
The pool is exactly as described. Plenty of seating and amazing views of the bay. The fire accents the light show perfectly and everything is very easy to control with the instructions provided by the owner.
My favorite spot was the dock. More seating options and a great spot to fish. I caught fish everyday and got at least 3 different species. We had a couple of dolphins pass by every night. They were so close we could have touched them one night. The pelicans put on a show all day as well. Plenty of wildlife to sit in the chairs and enjoy.
We would definitely consider coming back.

My husband, teenage son, and mother stayed here for 5 nights and we absolutely loved it! The water views and insanely beautiful pool made this a truly unforgettable trip- we were so sad to leave our retreat! The house had everything we needed and my teenage son was obsessed with the vending machine they have! It is a truly remarkable home and one of the nicest homes I have ever rented on vacation.

Great Family Vacation
My family had not taken a vacation in awhile because we didn’t want to leave our dogs out. This home was perfect for my family of young adult children and Frenchies. The pool, patio and view are a dream. The home is large and spacious. We had a great time hanging out at the house as well as visiting Ana Maria and Siesta Key. All easy drives. BEST VACATION LOCATION EVER
This property is incredible! It is the perfect property for a large family vacation, pool, hot tub, patio and all screened in! The house is spacious with a large kitchen, bar area and large dining table. Everything is well labeled. The outside grill area with ice maker, fridge and sink is very convenient. We spent most of our time lounging by the pool and just relaxing! Todd was very helpful and answered any and all questions. My family loved this property and would love to visit again.

Amazing!
Wow! Where do I start? The house itself is so spacious and well appointed. There is even a vending machine inside with all kinds of snacks which is so novel and great for teenagers. The pool is lovely and sitting on the dock is fabulous - we saw dolphins, birds, lizards and other wildlife. You can use the kayaks and there are lots of fun pool toys. Finally Todd and Cynthia are so gracious and kind. All the stars for this one - highly recommend!

The setting is quiet, peaceful and offers spectacular views of the sun rise and sunset over the serene Manatee River.

Amazing home and hosts!
All I can say is wow! The house is more gorgeous than the pictures— and the pool and outdoor area do not disappoint! We loved spending our days at the gorgeous beaches in the area, fishing off the dock and lounging by the pool. Todd and Cynthia were amazing hosts… super responsive and the even left some Easter treats for our kiddos!

A nice deck where you can put in straight your rods while watching dolphins popping by and say hello… unbelievable Spot. The owners are very helpful, pleasant and kind at all time. We will definitely come back again and enjoy it with our children. The rooms are big enough and there is space for everyone. exceeded expectations
This was a beautiful home with exquisite furnishings and decor. The kitchen was large with great appliances and fully equipped with all quality utensils and cookware. We found everything we needed and more. You wouldn't believe the views from the rear of the home (Sunrise) Pool and jacuzzi were unbelievable, seemed to be indoor/outdoor with the covered part being an extension of the livingroom area with sink, fridge and ice maker (WOW)
The photos in the VRBO profile are accurate, but don't tell the whole story. The property owners were wonderful, went out of their way to meet us and show us all of the features and how to use them. I could go on all day and tell you more, but I'll leave it at that. I'll be hoping to use their spectacular home and hospitality again!

This is a paradise!
This property has everything I was expecting and even more! The location, the cleaning, decorations, the view, the accommodations, well equipped, the rapid response, the customer service and the professionalism from the hostesses Todd and Cynthia are so great, out of this word! I rented this property to spend some time with my family, this is not the first time I rent one of this many properties but I can assure that this has been my favorite.( my family agrees). The beach is really close to the property, you can go everyday or you can enjoy a really nice time at the pool, jacuzzi, fishing, kayaking, even seating in the outside is very relaxing and pleasant. I thank Todd and Cynthia for everything they offered to help us! We are looking forward to rent this property again. I hope we can visit again soon ! 👏🏼🤗
