All on one level and raised on stilts, this delightful beach home recently underwent a total makeover, with new appliances, modern amenities, and fresh decor. The private deck looks straight out to the ocean, and there’s private access to the beach boardwalk.
A prime location just 20 minutes from historic Charleston, this peaceful retreat is ideal for those seeking to truly get away from it all.
LIVING AREA
Recessed lighting and sliding glass doors create a bright and breezy ambience in the living room. Furnished with a comfy couch, two armchairs, and a 55” TV, this is a great spot to watch a movie or simply enjoy the breathtaking ocean views.
KITCHEN & DINING
The well-equipped and updated kitchen has everything you need to prepare hearty group meals, complete with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
Enjoy breakfast at the center island with seating for four. Or gather your group for dinner at the dining table, which also seats four.
BEDROOMS & BATHS
This home sleeps up to seven guests between the three bedrooms.
Watch the waves roll ashore from the master bedroom, furnished with a plush queen bed and 50” TV. The en-suite master bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower.
The second guest room has a queen bed and 46” TV, while the third bedroom features a twin-over-full bunk bed and 42” TV.
A guest bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination.

When we entered the house it was apparent that the kitchen floor had buckled with a six to 8 inch peak between the sink and stove area- about 2 feet wide. The plank flooring that had been laid over the original flooring was loose and moved - a big tripping hazard especially for someone with a broken ankle and someone with a bad knee. To be fair Vacasa was not able to do much since the homeowner was involved. However Vacasa nor the homeowner made any attempt to relocate us, compensate us financially or even apologize. We have had a problem with other rentals in past years and other agencies and homeowners were more responsive. First and last time with Vacasa.

Love that this cottage is water front. Coffee on the deck each morning was perfect! Kitchen was well equipped. Not crazy about xfinity as we couldn’t watch our sports team. Just more time staring at the ocean! Thank you, we will return to this home.

The house is very nice and quaint. There is good beach access and good views from the house. The amenities leave a lot to be desired. The propane tank under the grill was corroded and looked like a potential hazard, there were several dirty bowls and other tableware, the lightbulb in a bedroom lamp was missing and the Vacasa team was of no help in managing any of this. We were told that the local team would reach out but no one ever reached out. I think Vacasa may be too impersonal

clean .bed with bathroom attached good but small bedrooms and both bathrooms very tiny...but "newly remodeled"?? painted yes kitchen cabinets old ....pots /pans very scratched garbage disposal not working, also very dark in driveway , need some type of lites along driveway so when you drive in you can see . my first look at rentals is it clean This rental is but because its location is awesome , guess the inside is not a wow...we pd a lot of money for a 4 nite stay in endof nov to dec 2 ...it was our anniversary beach view gorgeous , house just ok

Great location. Easy access to town, and to grocery store. Unfortunately, we came on a week where the weather was really crummy. So we stayed inside and watched the wind, the rain, and the waves.

The home was clean and comfortable and just steps from the beach literally. At high tide you could sit on the walkover steps and put your feet in the surf! We brought beach chairs but didn't use them because the deck chairs were more comfortable and you had a better view. We were able to sit out on the deck and watch the sunrise and even got to see the Harvest Moon rise evening with a group of surfers surfing in the moonlight. Anytime I texted the company with a question or a concern, they responded immediately. I would definitely come back to this listing.

The location of this house is perfect! It’s away from all the busy parts of folly, and you have plently of beach area to let kids play and feel safe with minimal folks around. (We stayed July 4th week) The house is not fancy. There are a lot of upgrades needed, but overall it was perfect for a week long vacation with a family that had more kids than adults. We had some issues with the plumbing and someone came out right away. There was a miscommunication about delivery of a new sofa sleeper and once we finally did get one, the property manager even gave us a tiny refund for our bed shortage. You have to use the public beach access to get to the beach but you have a private gate that connects right to a shower to rinse your feet before you head upstairs. That was very convenient. The house was quite affordable for an ocean front and the views each morning were worth every penny!

Definitely paying for the view and location, we felt like we had a private beach 2 steps from our porch! House was clean and convenient to everything. Good kitchen and appliances, but interior could use some updates. Bathroom counter space/storage and interior walls need renovations. Furniture not that comfortable. Overall, made for a good week. View was 10/10, interior was 5/10.

This is a very comfortable beachfront home, with direct beach access. It has all you need to relax, make a meal and to entertain guests... in fact we celebrated my wife's birthday during our stay. Close enough to Charleston's attractions and Kiawah Island to explore or just have beach day. Great stay!

The house location was the best part of this rental. The beach was quiet and the beach access was great and easy. The house accommodated our family just fine but don't let the photos fool you. The interior wood wall panels were warped badly, the cabinets were old with drawers not opening easily, the dryer didn't dry well and made a very loud sound during the cycle, the master bath floor moved when someone was in the adjacent bathroom, and the AC unit didn't cool the space very quickly/effectively. The property managers repainted and installed granite counters to give the impression of a "remodel" but only scratched the surface. The property managers were not very helpful when our power went out for over two hours and told us to "wait an hour and call back." Finally, the fourth property manager person was able to list the home as without power with the main utility company.

When we arrived, we saw that the one lamp in the master bedroom had no switch. You had to turn it off and on by unplugging and plugging. There is a table/bookcase as you enter that the second shelf is broken. It does seem that as much as these houses cost per night, that someone would check to make sure that things are working and not broken.

Very clean accommodation with a great ocean view. We really enjoyed the partially covered deck which provided ample shade throughout the day.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are small yet serviceable. The beds were comfortable with nice quality linens. The kitchen was well equipped. Good size TV in each room. We will definitely stay here again!
