Stayed here while trying out horses. Perfect spot. My trainer and I (both women) felt very comfortable here walking to and from restaurants. Parking was a dream right out front. The place was super clean. The snacks and coffee setup were appreciated! Loved it!

We stayed at this spot to attend the Masters on Sunday and it was absolutely perfect. 10/10 recommend staying here. The apartment looks exactly as advertised. Beautiful high ceilings, well decorated. The king bed was incredibly comfy. Fun spot in Aiken, we just walked to dinner both nights. We will absolutely stay here again when we come back down for the Masters in years to come.

The location is so perfect! A ton of shops restaurants and bars right on the same street and cool downtown area! The place was very clean and had a really cool atmosphere. Highly recommend!

This apartment is exactly as advertised and more. So comfortable and so much charm and the location cannot be beat. Right in the heart of Aiken downtown, literally walk out of the door and you are there. Some terrific shops and eateries. Great stay would stay again. Owner was terrific.

This is a perfect place to stay if you want to explore downtown Aiken, as it's right one of the main streets. The place feels spacious and has a large library, which is fun to peruse if you are a book lover like me.
The kitchen is well equipped and there's a table large enough to have 2-3 guests for dinner. Also, comfortable king sized bed.
We would definitely stay here again. :-)

Beautiful property, this is my second stay here. I come down to ride my horse who is down in Aiken for training in the winter months. Everything is always neat and tidy, the apartment has a lovely homey feel, it’s light and bright and well kept. The stairs going up to it could be tough if someone has knee or leg issues, but it’s a lovely place and right in the heart of downtown so an easy walk to dinners and shops.

My daughters and I loved staying in this apartment with so much southern character/charm. We were able to walk to fun dinners and super easy drive to Highfields and Bruce's Field. We will be back.

This is a fantastic apartment with antebellum southern flair. It made the perfect home base for a weekend back to visit old friends and family. Very clean, comfortable and secure. Would highly recommend!

This was our second visit to this charming apartment while visiting for a horse show. It is perfectly located close to shops and restaurants. The place has tons of character and is very clean. The king bed is super comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine each evening to watch the people walk by. We highly recommend this place and will be back.

My friends and I loved this apartment! It was well appointed, a good size and set overlooking the heart of Laurens (Aiken’s main) street. So easy to walk to all the quaint shops and restaurants. Melissa and Jim were lovely to deal with. We’d definitely stay there again!

There are so many wonderful things to say about this apartment I don’t know where to start.
It is beautifully decorated and has the greatest vibe! The beds are comfortable, and the linens are nice. We did not use the kitchen, but it looked like it was well stocked. We loved to sit on the balcony out front to watch the world go by.
Location, location, location!! It is downtown with lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The alley that has tons of restaurants is directly across the street. (Try vampire penguin. You won’t regret it. 😁) I was concerned about parking but we never had a problem finding a spot out front. We were there for a horse show at Highfields and it was about an 8 minute drive.
Last but not least, I have to mention the owners. They are truly wonderful people to rent from. I had something come up and was unsure if we were going to be able to go on our trip. They were flexible and gave me options. That type of service is rare these days. I am glad we didn’t have to cancel.

We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay, and would stay here again. This is an absolutely charming, historic little apartment above the downtown business district. Although it's right on the main street, it's extremely quiet and private. I loved perusing all the books when I had a few minutes. Just a comfortable place to stay, conveniently located near shops and restaurants right in the heart of a fabulous little town. Check in and check out was super simple, and communication with the owner was great.

Really enjoyed this place while doing a horse show at Highfields. Also very close to Bruce’s Field. Easy walking distance to The Alley with lots of great restaurants. Comfortable home with a lot of comforts of home and well-stocked kitchen. We would definitely stay there again! Owner was wonderful to work with.

Had a wonderful stroll down memory lane while staying at The Loft Apartment on Laurens St. in downtown Aiken. I was raised in Aiken while my father was the Chamber of Commerce Exec. in the 1950's. Went to Aiken High Class of 1958, "Go Hornets!" Went to Clemson (Go Tigers!) from Aiken High and then out to California for graduate studies and a career in Forestry...Was stationed near lovely Chico where I met and married the Mayor's daughter and the rest is history. Try to get back to Aiken and Pawleys Island every few years but Covid put us off our traditional schedule by four years. Anyway, came back this past week with my daughter for a few days before going on to PI and then Wilmington NC for a family reunion. The Loft Apartment on Laurens was the perfect place for the two of us as I visited old haunts and friends for a few days....I will give it six (6) stars as being the best Air B&B I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The Host, Jim, was very easy to work with and was also very helpful when we thought we might have to shift our reservation a bit due to family events in Wilmington. He was ready to help in any way he could. We will stay at the Loft on Laurens whenever we are in Aiken in the future. To my thinking there is no where else that comes close to the quality of amenities that the Loft provides. Just the Loft Library is worth the stay and the balcony over Laurens looking down on the beautiful streetscape of downtown Aiken is well worth the very reasonable price of admission. We will definitely be back.

The loft is charming with a lot of character and in a perfect location. Walking distance to cute shops and good restaurants. The place was well stocked and had everything we needed. The king bed in the master was very comfortable. We highly recommend and will definitely be back.

It is extremely clean and has everything to meet our needs., down to ziplock bags. The bed is very comfortable. We loved the atmosphere of the loft including the many books. Checkin process was fantastic. We had no issues during our stay. We hope to come back every year for a nice getaway. Thank you for sharing the apartment.

Charming and great location overlooking Downtown Aiken.
We loved our stay and everything about this charming property! The owner was easy to communicate with, the location is great and the decor is warm and welcoming. We were in town for a horse show at Bruce Field and this was a perfect location for us. Overlooking the wonderful shops and restaurants downtown and only 5 minutes from the show grounds. We will definitely be back!

One of the nicest places we have stayed.
If you are visiting Aiken for any reason this place is a must stay. You feel just like you are at home. Every room is set up to be comfortable and relaxing. The balcony is a great place to sit and relax in the evening and watch people strolling through town. You are right in the shopping and restuarant district so you can leave your apartment and head right out and grab a bite to eat or shop at any of the nice stores. The beds were very comfortable. Be sure to bring your reading glasses because the living room, with its tall bookshelves, is a wonderful place to sit with your favorite book. I wish we could have stayed longer. When going to visit our daughter in Aiken, this will definitely be our go to place as long as it is available. Thank you so much for sharing this treasure with visitors to Aiken.

Perfect location in downtown Aiken. Loved the balcony overlooking the street and it was within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Janice & Russell were perfect hosts. Definitely recommend and would love to stay again next we are in Aiken.
